okay where was i... i'll just go ahead and throw in my lot.

Name: Akilia
Element: Plasma
Mask: Kanohi Bharai, Mask of ROCK (Mask of Elemental Stone, but...) (Powerless)

Gender: Female
Appearance: As is typical for Su-matoran, Akilia is colored from head to toe in yellow, white, and plasma orange. She stands confidently at a height above many other matoran, and together with her asymmetrical mask she can have a somewhat intimidating aura.


Occupation: Akilia hauls fuel and materials around for the Su-Congro furnaces. It's not the most amazing job in the universe, but it perfectly suits someone with Akilia's apparently boundless energy. On her off hours, Akilia is a champion lava surfer, and a capable musician (though unappreciated in her time).

Description: Of all the possible words that might describe the Su-matoran Akilia, the best is probably simply: "Big." She is loud, outspoken, and not a little impulsive. She's not the type to keep things to herself, or to keep herself out of other people's things. Nonetheless, she has a reputation for being a generally decent person. Physically, Akilia is in tip top shape, and is regularly among the top contenders in the lava surfing competitions in Ta-Congro. She also likes to ROCK OUT, and will take just about any opportunity to unsling the guitar on her back and start tearing it up.

Tools: Just a guitar. But it's a really cool guitar.

Plasma Toa? Yes. Lava Surfing? Yes. (Although if it's in Ta-Congro, it's either smokestack sledding or slag surfing tbh.) Female Toa? Yes. Elemental Mask? Double yes. (The Kanohi Garai is one of my favorites in context- i.e. on Hewkii Mahri, so the execution of Plasma and Stone will be interesting.) Also, love how the Powerless Kanohi Bharai is a KISS mask. Can't wait to see how she interacts with the others. Like Hura. Especially Hura. They're like, totally opposite. Her occupation is cool too. I guess we could call her a Melter? (Of Faces! Haha.) Akili accepted!

Now, music linked in IC text and character/event themes are not only encouraged, but canon. I was thinking of having the plot "year song" (as in the one in theoretical adverts) to be Murky (of course by Cryoshell), because I feel it sorta fits the setting, and a bit of what I have planned for the immediate future/story events, like stuff that's just part of how things work.

excellent i went with lava-surfing in ta-congro because it had the only volcano symbol i could find on the map, presumably lava surfing just isn't a thing in kongero nui.

I may be a bit late, but De-Matoran.

@Marshmellow Oh, wait, yeah! I totally forgot that there's a volcano up the back of Ta-Congro! It's totally a thing! Also part of the reason Ko-Congro and Ga-Congro are as miserable as they are at first glance. (Ko-Congro being super cold and Ga-Congro being somewhat dim near the fish market.)
@DFTBA I'll take that into consideration. Would likely have a Volitak or Huna- potentially a Huna shaped like a Volitak.

So what are you guys thinking about the rp so far? Also, would you be okay with me posting again, despite no one else having posted? Just so we can have something going? I'd basically post for Hura and Turaga Talur, or one of the Turaga.

Well, that's pretty much what I've been waiting for. Kumanu did start talking to Turaga Talur in the post I made, so I hoped you might reply. After that, I'd send him over to Bo-Congro.

As for my feelings on the Game so far: Good, but more posts is better!

Alright, just asking since it's a breech of typical etiquette. Waiting for @Marshmellow to post something tbh, but I did put a new interest check in the casual section, so hopefully that can drum up some people who will maintain activity.

@DFTBA Plot hook? Oh, you mean the Ko-Matoran group? Potentially. I decided not to waste an idea I had for a character. I figured if I introduce him now, then he might be able to come up as a Toa in a second team or something, maybe make a mentor/rookie dynamic between old and new groups, probably after the first group gets some sort of special upgrade or transformation or something.

Mask: Powerless Kanohi Volitak- Mask of Stealth
Gender: Female
Appearance: A rather unassuming Matoran with black body armor and a dark grey mask. Her eyes are pale red, and her knees, that backs of her hands, and the tops of her feet are grey. She is particularly thin, and much of her inner structure shows, as her armor is not very thick.
Occupation: Vhis works as an informant for the Turaga, and the Vatali by extension. She investigates suspicious areas and reports illegal activities.
Description: Being a De-Matoran, Vhis is, and prefers things to be, quiet. She very much keeps to herself, and, because of her tending the Temple at De-Congro from a young age, knows little of how to deal with others.
Tools: Flare Launcher- A small, conical device (similar to a condensed Nynrah Ghost Blaster with no extra ammunition) which launches a flare to emit light. Used if Vhis is in trouble.

Haha, no. She's not Makuta. Pale red, like a redder pink. So, if that's what you're worried about, nah.

If Makuta were to impersonate someone, why would it be some random quiet Matoran? Why not a Turaga? Or why not simply decimate the Toa-less city?
