Jessica does not like being called Jessie. She feels that it's a more childish version of her name. She only accepts being called Jessie from childhood friends who've called her that for years, or little kids.
On the other hand, if you want to call her Jess, go ahead. She doesn't mind.

|In Depth Appearance|When you imagine a cheerleader, you're probably imagining someone who looks like Jessica. She has the stereotypical shimmering blonde hair. Her hair extends down to her waist and no, she doesn't straighten it. It's naturally straight. It's mostly flowing down or in a ponytail but on occasion she'll put more effort in her hairstyles. When Jessica is fed up with her bangs, she'll french braid the front part of her hair. And when she's feeling particularly pretty or for a special occasion, her hair will be in a more intricate style. And her almond-shaped brown eyes are often sparkling with enthusiasm and warmth. Oh, and Jessica has got her eye-roll down to perfection.
Standing at a height of 5'7, Jessica has legs that seems to extend for days, and a slender figure. Her skin tone is on the paler side, but after a summer at camp, she tans nicely.
|Clothing Style|Jessica's motto when it comes to clothing is "Easy, breezy, beautiful." Nope, just kidding. It's actually "Simple but fashionable". Despite what people may think, Jessica dislikes accessories like necklaces, bracelets, rings, etc. She tries to find simple clothing that mark her a fashionista without going overboard.
For the most part, Jessica is often seen in short denim pants and the fashionable T shirt. She's brought some cardigans, hoodies, some sweatpants and exercise pants as well.
She brought her favorite black and white gingham checked bikini for her bathing suit.
|Scars, Tattoos, Piercings|Jessica has her ear lobes pierced. She also has a birthmark on her right ankle.

|Personality|♦ Bright ♦ Sarcastic ♦ Kind ♦ Bubbly ♦
There's an upbeat air around Jessica all the time, accompanied by a bright smile. True to her archetype as a cheerleader, she's always cheerful and willing to make someone smile. Jessica is probably one of the most empathetic people you will ever meet. She's the type of person to cry when other people cry, and she gets really bad second hand embarrassment whether it be in real life or in response to movies or TV shows.
However, Jessica is very frustrated with being associated with the cheerleader stereotype. Just because she's a cheerleader, just because she's a blonde doesn't mean that she's an airheaded bimbo. Contrary to stereotypes, she's very smart. It's her life goal to break free from the cheerleader/blonde stereotype, but it probably doesn't help that she has her 'blonde moments'. Despite her intelligence, she has a tendency to overlook the obvious because she overthinks it and over-complicates it.
Of course, being in Pink, it goes without saying that Jessica has a very witty, sassy aspect to her. Jessica always has the sassiest comebacks, and she has a very sharp tongue. A lot of her speech is dripping with sarcasm. The more comfortable she is with someone, the more sarcastic she is. Anytime there's an opportunity for a witty, funny comment you can usually count on Jessica to supply it. However, it's often a double-edged sword. Sometimes she goes too far, or says one sarcastic comment too many and hurts people. This is followed by her apologizing profusely for a long time. She knows that she needs to work on filtering all of her comments.
On the other side of her bubbly, happy personality, Jessica has a tendency to bottle up all of her emotions. By trying to be nice and friendly and upbeat all of the time, Jessica shoves any anger, irritation, or nerves aside. If she's annoyed or doesn't like someone, she'll still smile and treat them nicely, but on the inside she'll be listing off all of the reasons why she hates that person. She tries not to be catty, but sometimes... You just have to vent. When it overflows, Jessica explodes. Either she's throwing a fit, or wailing and sobbing. Fortunately it doesn't happen too often, but when it does... Stay away from her. This tendency also is apparent when she panics or freaks out, which happens when things divert from the plan. Jessica needs a plan and a guidebook. She doesn't like improvising. She can be a control freak, losing control scares her a lot.
As a general rule, Jessica is a very pleasant person to be around. It helps that not only is she attractive, she's a natural flirt. It's not that she's necessarily flirting on purpose, she's just charming and endearing.
|Place of Origin|Los Angeles, California
|History|Everything seems to come so effortlessly to Jessica. That's how she portrays herself.
But it's not really the case.
The only thing that came naturally to her is her musical ability. Everything else--her smarts, her athletic ability, her confidence, her toned figure...everything--is something that Jessica quite literally worked her ass off for.
As a child, Jessica was much different. She was a chubby, overweight child who hated physical activity and wasn't the brightest bulb in the shed. Because of this, she was bullied in elementary and middle school and as a result, became an insecure loner. It was rare to hear her talk above a murmur, and she would be as small as possible, hoping that people wouldn't notice her.
To Jessica, her one respite was music. She took piano lessons for a really long time, and in 6th grade, she had her first recital. Her lessons paid off, and after years of practice, she played beautifully. This was a turning point in her life in which she realized that if she practiced and worked hard at something, she could succeed. Until then, she had given up on everything else.
So for the rest of her middle school life, Jessica quit music to throw herself into bettering herself in everything. She started taking gymnastic lessons to combat her weight gain and lack of athletic ability. She spent countless hours with tutors to attempt to understand academic subjects. She spent days poring over magazines to try to be trendy, fashionable, and cool. She practiced smiling and confidence by looking into the mirror and saying good things about herself. Slowly but surely, Jessica began transforming herself.
By the time she reached high school, Jessica became the person that she always wanted to be... Well, almost. It still takes her about 3 times more effort and studying to understand school-related subjects, and it takes her a lot of practicing to do athletic activities like dancing or cheer, but she's gotten a lot better. It's a process that's still taking place. She's still insecure about herself--if there's one thing she doesn't want, it's for people to not like her and to discover how lame she used to be--but she feels a lot better. Her confidence practice paid off.
And most importantly, she likes being herself now. And maybe, that's all she ever wanted.
|Extra|--She's good at piano
--She's broken a
lot of bones over the years.
--Allergic to cats
|Theme Song|I Am - Hillary Duff”I'm someone filled with self-belief
And haunted by self-doubt
I've got all the answers
I've got nothing figured out
I like to be by myself
I hate to be alone
I'm up and I am down
But that's part of the thrill
Part of the plan
Part of all of the things I am”
