Many have read or know the tales of the fallen angels, the wars they caused and the strife that ran through the veins. This is one such tale.
Mankind is still under the watchful protection of the heavens but in ways many do not understand or refuse to see. The Seraphim are the highest choir of angels and have been charged with delivering souls from the darkness that surround them. They fall from the heavens to the city below and each are assigned one soul for a time. They are to be a light, a beacon of hope in a time of need. They plant the seed of hope and faith with their kindness and unwavering compassion.
But as with all things in life, free will plays a large part of the story and many they are sent to help cannot be saved. Pride, envy and so much more can take hold in the hearts of mortals. They turn away the very gift they were sent. The Seraphim are rejected and must walk away only to return to try again to save another soul. Such is their lot in their immortal life.
Some Seraphim though grow too close to those they are charged with and they succumb to the pain inflicted when their hearts open. These Seraphim over time are worn down and eventually fall from grace, only to be left with desperation and anger in a heart that was once so pure. Their light fades and the shadows consume them.
Here in the Mega-City of Santa Muerte they reside, the City Of The Fallen Seraphim. Though not evil, they are now plagued with the same vices and sins any mortal is faced with and they still possess the same power they held as part of the army of Heaven. Strength, speed, longevity are all traits of these fallen, even unseen by mortal wings that once shown brilliantly with heavens light but are now dark can let them fly. They hold no magical weapons. They can be injured, a bullet will tear through them, blood will pour and they can die and do. (This is the lot of any Seraphim on Earth for when you leave Heaven by choice or order when you are not sent for war you must blend in.)
What they do and how they live is greatly up to what happens to them before and after the fall. So who are you? A simple mortal who crosses the path of one of the fallen? Are you a fallen Seraphim just surviving? Or are you still in the light of Heaven trying to hold on so you don’t join the rest of turned away from Heaven so long ago?

Hey everyone, a quick sum up of questions I have answered both in pm or ooc
-Seraphim and Fallen do not know each other and cannot detect each other unless either A)They see them flying with wings exposed or B) Use the power Aura Read
-Aura Read can only be used when you are physically looking at the person and activate it
-Wings of the Fallen are auto hid unless they chose to show them. Then they are only physical.
-Wings of Seraphim are normally hidden but can give off a warm or cold air where they would be spending on mood. They can also be shown in physical form if the Seraphim choses.
-You do not have to pick an unused Sin or Virtue.
-Teleportation is line of physical sight only.
-Inhuman perception is eye sight only.
-When the moon is a blood moon it signifies the Fall of a Seraphim but no knowledge is given to who fell.
-Named NPCs are under the control of the NPC creator only.
-All Gm Npcs, named or not, under the control of the GM only.
-Biblical Angels and Seraphim are not to be used outside of GM control. (Like Gabriel,Michael, Uziel, etc.) This is to keep the higher powers from having too much influence on the Rp.
