Zordon, an alien White Ranger from another time and galaxy, crash landed on Earth after imprisoning Rita Repulsa and her minions on the moon one hundred years ago in the year 1915. Aging more rapidly on Earth, Zordon's robotic assistant Alpha 5 helped to preserve his essence within the technology of their crashed ship/HQ. A routine moon landing in 2015 saw the release of Rita and her goons and soon a battle for the planet had begun. Zordon chose five teenagers to fight for the fate of the world against Rita and her forces. Now, two years after becoming Rangers it's time for them to ascend. The first of them to rise to another level of power will become the Dragon Ranger. From that point it'll only get more interesting. This is loosely based on what they get in terms of Thunder Zords.

3.) Make sense. If we can't make heads or tails of your posts they're likely to get skipped over.

4.) Get permission before using another player's character in your posts if it involves changing the scene or making actions or just ask to collaborate in a titanpad. Everybody will take beatings in this game in battle however, so don't get pissed if you get punched or blasted into a wall by the bad guys!

5.) Problems with the game or players should be sent directly to me through PM's. I don't want a bunch of bickering in the OOC.

6.) There is no rule #6.

7.) Abandoned characters will be used as NPC's or killed off within the context of the story. Players/characters will have to be inactive for over two weeks to be considered abandoned.

8.) “I was waiting for [insert player/character] to make a move” is not an excuse to stop posting..

9.) My word is law.

10.) Obey the law.

11.) In the event that I'm offline for any period of time, the deputy/co-GM will take control and HIS/HER word will then be law.

Adam was walking through the park in Angel Falls in his black t-shirt when suddenly a handful of putty creatures formed outside of an odd looking tree. Two of the creatures placed green crystals around the tree and it began to glow somewhat as the ground shook.

"I don't know what these guys are doing, but I'd better call for back up just in case..." Adam said to himself as he spoke into his communicator wrist watch, "Alpha, some putties are doing something to the ground... stuck some weird crystals around this tree..."

"I will see who I can reach, be careful Black Ranger."

As Adam ran into the putties with his flying feet and gymnastic flips an odd 90's sounding rock music was playing on some kid's mp3 player.

At the HQ...

"Rangers come in! Rangers come in! There's an emergency at the Highlands Park..." Alpha 5 continued to try and reach the others.

The floating head of Zordon looked a bit more tired than usual. The lights blinked and the computers made sounds, but the entirety of the place seemed a bit less alive. Alpha paused in relaying the message and walked over to another control panel closer to Zordon's glass cylinder shield. After making a few adjustments he asked his old friend...

"Is that better Zordon?" the robot asked walking back to the communications computer.

"Yes, thank you Alpha. Have the preparations been made?" Zordon asked in response looking a little better, the lights in the HQ now a bit brighter.

"Affirmative. The Thunderzords have been unearthed. It is time for the Rangers to ascend..." Alpha 5 assured.

Danny was chatting with his oldest brother who had moved to Stone Canyon, when his communicator started beeping.He already knew it meant trouble and would cut the chat short, but he pressed the button anyway."Rangers come in! Rangers come in! There's an emergency at the Highlands Park..." Of course it was Alpha contacting them about what was no doubt one of Rita's schemes. "Let me guess, that witch has finally made her Gingerbread house. Either way I'm headed there now."

Without shutting his computer down or closing the chat, he would have to come up with an excuse later, Danny teleported to the park and saw Adam fighting against living clay monsters. His first instinct was to morph since he and Adam were the only humans in sight, but then he realized that if someone got close enough to see what was happening it would be suspicious if they saw a Ranger fighting alongside a random human. Unfortunately before he could do something, one of the monsters saw him and while changing his arm in a hammer ran towards him.

"Happy birthday to me." Kitty told herself as she sat in her squatters apartment. Opening a bag of small crystals slipping one under her tongue. Her depression a little higher today. "At least the city is quiet." standing to go for a walk while the crystal of Ecstasy melted under her tongue. She was walking downtown when her communicator went off."Rangers come in! Rangers come in! There's an emergency at the Highlands Park..." All she had to hear she spat out the half dissolved crystal and running towards the park.

She wasn't far maybe a minute out. She considered the possibility of slipping into an alleyway and morphing. Instead she just pushed harder raising her heart rate. Then she saw Danny and Adam. She charged one of the putties backs who was headed for Danny. She swept low trying to knock its feet away.

Henry layer in his bed scrolling through the wide selection of movies and TV shows that the oh mighty Netflix had to offer as his mother downstairs enjoyed her limited time off of work by flipping through the channels on their television. The teen had finally decided to watch Lazy Town just for kicks when his communicator chirped to life "Rangers come in! Rangers come in! There's an emergency at the Highlands Park...."

"Roger roger" was all Henry said as he closed his laptop and rushed to down the stairs but slowed down near the bottom to avoid suspicion by his mom. Henry quickly slipped on his shoes and took off on his bike to get to the park. He had a vague idea of where Highlands Park but still managed to take a few wrong turns but luckily he got there quick enough to still help out. Leaping off his bike, Henry dashed to his teammates's side in order to help them out.

Danny saw Kitty dealing with the creature that tried to attack him and realized he had to concentrate on the battle. He decided to go after one of the monsters focused more on the strange crystals than on the battle fully aware that he was taking advantage of the same mistake that almost got him in trouble.

As he snuck up on it, he took out his pocket knife knowing from experience that while getting stabbed in most places seemed just a minor inconvenience thanks to the putties' clay like bodies, their eyes were still vulnerable. Surprisingly enough things went just as he had planned, right until managed to jam the blade of his knife in the creature's left eye after climbing on it's back.

While Danny had indeed managed to partially blind the putty the damage was not enough to actually destroy it, and before he could get his knife back out he was thrown of it's back. While the Ranger was lying on the ground his opponent pulled the knife out of it's eye and in a clear attempt to pay him was now trying to stab both his eyes out with his weapon. By pure luck Danny shielded his face with his right arm just in time meaning that instead of being blinded, he got stabbed in his dominant arm.

All of the Rangers had teleported to the Park except for the Pink Ranger. Still in their civilian cloths and fighting the shapeshifting Putty monsters, the two with the crystals around the dead tree seemed to be done doing whatever it was they were doing. While the teens still continued to fight on, the boy in yellow pulled out a pocket knife and went for the eyes of a Putty. It had really come to that point and the rock music on the radio nearby changed. Then the tree started to shake and the ground quaked. The teens struggled to stay standing, the most of the park having already been evacuated.

"I think it's time somebody said it... IT'S MORPHIN' TIME!" Adam screamed grabbing his morpher, "MASTODON!"

As the Black Mastodon Ranger, Adam had heightened physical attributes like the others. With his already impressive gymnastic skills and martial arts multiplied he was a force to be reckoned with. When he pulled his battle ax, he cut a Putty in half. The Putty however just became two smaller Putties.

After a few more moments, the tree changed and morphed in it's own way. Creating Deadwood was the objective of the Putties. And it had just been completed.

But where was the Pink Ranger during all of this?

Henry was having a decent time fighting off a putty though he mostly avoided being hit as opposed to actually making a conscious effort to attack. The teen with tude' was more hesitant then his companions but he still did his best to put in the pain on the putty here and there.

As the large tree finally changed into the monster known as Deadwood, Henry stuttered and was smacked aside by the putty he was 'fighting'. Turning a problem into an opportunity, Henry rolled to his feet and whipped out his Morpher and called out "Triceratops!" as he became the Blue Triceratops Ranger and got ready to fight Deadwood with his band of rainbow coloured friends.

Despite the knife wound things could be worse for Danny as the putty let once again let it self get distracted, this time by the creation of Deadwood and the Black and Blue Rangers morphing. Making use of a distraction once more the Yellow Ranger pushed the creature off of him and ignoring his hurt arm pushed himself back up. Knowing that he wouldn't have much luck against either the tree-monster or the armed Putty without morphing he decided to follow the lead of Adam and Henry.

Danny unhooked his morpher form his belt and held it in front of his chest. "Sabertooth Tiger!" Now in Ranger form he used his Blade-Blaster to shoot his knife out the putty's hand, not wanting the creature to have another weapon on top of those it could form it's limbs into.

"It's about time. It's Morphin time, Tyranosaurus. Having morphed into the red ranger kitten began fighting harder but then it hit her causing her to miss every third strike as she tried to hit part of one that was exaggerated. She decided enough was enough. "Power Sabre." Calling the sword to her hands ready to start cutting them down. She began moving through putties trying to reach any of her teammates.

Deadwood had formed from a tree. She knew they weren't beating him unless they were together. Running her fingers along the blade of the sword and making a wide slash towards deadwood sending the blade of red energy flying.

The Rangers began morphing once the tree creature took shape and uprooted from the ground beneath them all. The ground quaked, the green crystals in the monster glowed, and the putties managed to flee. The Red Ranger got a nice slash in on the creature before the Pink Ranger came seemingly out of nowhere flipping through the air and taking a few shots with her Power Bow.

"Hey gorgeous, sorry I'm late. I had a hot date with a few putties at the park entrance."

"Here I thought you forgot what clocks were..." the Black Ranger joked hacking at the elongated limbs of the plant powered creature with his ax.

"Well, you do know me well enough to know I'm always fashionably late. Hit him with your cannon blast while you're close enough to actually hit your target!" Kimley giggled.

"I always forget it turns into a cannon..." he proclaims flipping it around, cocking the handle like a shotgun and taking a blast point blank at the creature's face.

"AAAAAAAAH!", Deadwood screamed, "What do you have against wood?" he asked before phasing out like a ghost.

Only a few moments had passed before the creature reappeared and whipped thorn covered vines from his arms and rooted himself in the ground. The Rangers were being thrown around like some twisted carnival ride. The Black Ranger dropped his ax in the struggle and wormed and wiggled to break free of the large vines. This, however, did not entirely work.

The Pink Ranger managed to get to her Blade Blaster from her hip and shot the vine entangled around the Black Ranger before turning the blaster into a blade and cutting the vine wrapped around herself. She ducked behind a tree and recovered her bow to free the others from a safe distance. The Black Ranger pulled his own blaster and attempted to assist in freeing the other Rangers from a closer position.

Before Danny could resume the fight with the Putty, it along with it's brethren managed to escape leaving the fight to the mutated tree. Three of the Rangers seemed to have predicted the tree becoming a monster and attacked it pretty much the second it revealed itself. By the time he had processed what was happening it seemed the tree-monster had fled as well probably to return later alongside the Putty's.

Before Danny could teleport back and resume the chat with his brother, the monster returned and grabbed all five Rangers with its thorny branches throwing them around. It took him a few seconds but he eventually wiggled his left arm free. Using one of his daggers he started cutting the branch holding him. He was about halfway done when a blast from Kimley's bow did the rest.

After landing he unsheathed his other dagger and swinging them at the time created a double energy slash with the intent to destroy one of the crystals he assumed acted as eyes based on their location, once again ignoring the pain in his right arm.

After taking the dagger to the eye the monster drew back, releasing the other Rangers. As if in a panic it lashed not really aiming for anything, and eventually grew downward and back into the earth. The Power Rangers all seemed puzzled.

"I think we should head back to HQ, see what Zordon knows about this plant guy." said the Black Mastodon Ranger.

"I think that's the best idea I've heard today." Kimley replied, a bit out of breath from battle. She hit the button on her transporter, not waiting for the other rangers to follow suit.

Back at HQ...

The Rangers teleported into the command chamber where Alpha 5 was in the midst of checking all sorts of devices and monitors for Zordon prior to the Rangers arrival.

"Aye yai yai!! Rangers, it appears Rita has gathered the Crystals of Teragon to reform Deadwood! If she's planning on using your lack of Megazord experience against you, it will most definitely be with this creature. Deadwood has completely terraformed seven planets for Rita's armies with his ghost vines sucking the life out of entire planets to fuel the other worldly war machines." Alpha informed them.

"What do we need to do next, Zordon?" Kimley asked quickly.

"You must destroy the other crystals in the creature's face. Danny had the right idea taking out one of Deadwood's eyes, that leaves the other eye and the crystal in the alien's forehead. The worst case scenario would be if Rita takes advantage of this monster's ability to alter it's size. You can fend it off with your Dinozords, however they are too old to combine to form a Megazord." Zordon instructed the teens.

"Zordon and I have made preparations to upgrade the zords, however the templates have yet to sync up with any of the older model zords. When we get the first of your new zords tech ready to install, one of you will become the Dragon Ranger and have a 'warrior mode' for the Dragon Zord."

"A dragon? What's in it for the rest of us?" asked Adam who had removed his Black Mastodon helmet.

The Blue Ranger's mind went wild at the thought of one of them being the Dragon Ranger. He hoped that he would be the one to get the title of Dragon Ranger but just the idea of zords made Blue giddy.

"The templates include a Unicorn, Griffin, an Imperial Lion, and the Phoenix." replied Alpha 5.

Kitten was not happy to see the strange tree monster escape. I'm paling the ground with the power sabre. "Power down!" Reverting to her former outfit. She sat against a tree. Someone mentioned heading back to HQ. "Sounds good."

Zordon was giving a speech kitten was mostly tuned out. The tech always bored her. As long as her suit and weapons work she's happy. There was mention of a dragon ranger and alternates for each of them. "We don't need to worry about new zords until ours no longer function. We are strong as is. You all can worry about could be problems I am going to find a way to win with what we currently have."

Danny agreed with Adam that going to the HQ and getting some more info was a good idea, but didn't feel like saying so since mostly he would just be repeating what Kimley said. So without saying anything, he teleported along with the others.

When they arrived at the Command Center what Alpha said about Deadwood having already teraformed seven other planets showed that the current situation was more serious than it first seemed, especially if those other planets were already inhabited and put up a resistance. "Sure if Deadwood was revived that must mean he was destroyed at least once, but still unless I misunderstood Alpha just said that it wiped out several populations."

Before Danny could get too worried Zordon told the Rangers that the crystals, which he had destroyed one off already were the tree-monster's weak points. After that bit of good news he mentioned the new Zord templates, and described the Dragon Zord in particular. While it did sound impressive, the Yellow Ranger didn't know if he could handle being chosen as the Dragon Ranger as that probably meant ever more responsibility then a "regular" Ranger would have.

Anyway he felt he had to admit that the whole destroyed crystal thing was mostly luck."To be honest I never considered that Deadwood's crystals were that important and was just trying to blind it, to make the fight easier"

The Power Rangers teleported back into Angel Falls in their civilian clothes. Their day at school was over, and they had no choice but to wait for the creature to pop up again. Adam stopped by his studio apartment in downtown Angel Falls that was on top of a two story antique store. Changing into some more casual gym attire he went for a jog through downtown and finally down by the park. He was more of a lone wolf, moving around a lot as a kid with his military father. Always an outsider. Within an hour he was running and hiking up the mountain where the famous waterfall was located. It was also a part of the mountains where the Rangers' zords were hidden.

"What was that?!?" Adam asked himself out loud breaking his stoic demeanor as the ground beneath him shook.

He kept hiking and climbing to the top. The 'Indian Highlands' was the name of the area on the far end of the town and city park. Something kept pushing Adam to morph, however there was no sign of danger. Energy seeping through a fissure in the ground, Adam finally took the time to morph before anything bad really happened.

Back at the command center...

"Aye yai yai!! Zordon! The first of the zords has began to morph and claimed the dragon template as it's own..." Alpha 5 exclaimed waving his hands around.

"Which of the Rangers has claimed the Dragon?" Zordon asked in his strange other worldly chambers.

"Adam, the black..." Alpha 5 started to say.

Angel Falls famous waterfall...

"MASTODON!" Adam screamed being covered in his standard black body suit and armor before the energy from the fissure combined with his own.

The Mastodon Dinozord erupted from the ground and began to reshape and shift into a long black snake like dragon. The head of which was roughly the size of a double decker bus.The armor and helmet of the Black Ranger also began to shift and Adam Li found himself with a new look and golden chest shield that extended all the way to his crotch. He took the dagger weapon on his hip from it's sheath, and played a song in the flute like properties of the blade. The Black Dragon Thunderzord calmed itself and Adam leaped on top of the machine's back. The late teen ran up it's armored scaly spine and imagined the Dragonball Z characters doing something similar. He positioned himself on the head and soared through the sky in the setting sun. The Deadwood creature taking shape in giant form across town...

Henry had simply been spending his time, once again, browsing shows on Netflix in his room when he decided to simply go for a walk as his brain needed some real stimuli opposed to the digital stimuli. On his walk Henry came across a disturbing sight off in the distance "oh... My... Garsh.." Henry said as he stared up at the newly forming, giant Deadwood. The boy was frozen with fear but his fears were further pushed at the sight of a giant dragon sordid flying through the sky. "I am not trained for this." The boy said still frozen with fear, not even able to call for help.

Back in his room Danny had finished tending to his arm and was ready to continue the interrupted chat, using the excuse that his friends needed help with something, only to see that his brother was off line. Before he could think of something else to do, the Angels Falls news site which he had his browser visit by default reported on the giant Deadwood attack, also mentioning a robotic black Asian dragon.

Danny immediately morphed and teleported to the waterfall in case Adam and the new Dragon Zord were unable to handle things on their own, and the old DinoZords would prove necessary. Besides even if that wouldn't be the case, which he hoped, he might still need to help civilians caught in collapsing buildings or something.

When everyone left the hideout Kitten decided some hot chocolate from work would be nice. So she took off towards work. Upon arriving she smiled sitting in a corner booth where she could watch everyone. The people coming through not realizing that a ranger was sitting among them. While she enjoyed her coffee a younger girl handed her a piece of chocolate pie and tapped her lips as she walked away. Kitty began savoring the rich succulent flavors of the pie.

She looked outside seeing the giant dragon and brought out her communicator. "Is everything okay? it looks like we have a dragon attacking?" Noticing the deadwood as well. She ran into the bathroom and transported to the cave morphing on the way. "Alpha what is the situation?"

Adam Li in his new Black Dragon armor dropped into the cockpit of the Black Dragon Thunderzord. The citizens below knew when to evacuate whenever something like this went down, so the three buildings were less of a priority if this scenario. The few times the creatures of the young Rita Repulsa have grown in size, only about twelve percent of the buildings in Angel Falls were damaged total. Still, if the men and women of the city see a giant dead tree monster... they know to get away as safely as possible.

The Dragonzord wrapped itself around the creature like a python, the Black Ranger jabbing at one of the remaining stones with the front of the Zord's head and mouth.

"C'mon, just a crack... then I'll push the big red button...!" he thought out loud.

The jewel in the head of the Deadwood creature cracked and the Ranger pushed the big red button. A ball of fire grew in the open mouth of the Black Dragon Thunderzord and fired from the robotic mouth like a cannonball of fire and energy. The jewel shattered, the creature screamed in pain, caught of guard at the strength of the unfamiliar Zord.

"Where did the Rangers get THAT thing? Use your ghost powers Deadwood, BEFORE THE RANGERS DESTROY YOU!" screamed Rita from her moon base looking on through a mystical window in space/time.

The monster knew it's days were numbered and it phased through the mechanical grip of the Dragonzord. Appearing just on the other side the creature elongated its arms and branched out, grabbing the snake like robot and body slamming it out of the air. It seemed the Black Dragon Ranger was on the ropes now, still not fully trained on this new Zord's abilities and operating systems.

Back at HQ...

"Alpha what is the situation?", asked the Red Tyrannosaurus Ranger teleporting into the command chamber.

"The Black Ranger claimed the power of the Dragonzord, but the Deadwood creature is on the rebound. Adam took out the jewel on the head. It only has one eye remaining..." Alpha 5 commented in his usual nervous tone.

"I can sense the Pink Ranger has activated her Zord and has begun ascending as well into the Phoenix! But Adam needs help now..." Zordon spoke.

"There's no telling how long the process will take, Red Ranger! Teleport to the city and activate your Red Tyrannosaurus Dinozord before it's too late!" Alpha exclaimed.

Back in the city...

"Is anybody out there? Zordon? Danny? I can't take too many more hits like this!" screamed the Black Ranger.

Just when Danny thought Adam had things under control, the new Dragon Ranger's voice sounded from his communicator, asking for help. "Don't worry, Adam. I'm coming." After he answered the Black Ranger, he immediately summoned his Zord. "Sabertooth Tiger DinoZord Power!"

Danny jumped into his Zord's cockpit and wondered what to do, he could either try to destroy Deadwood's eye or go for the branches tangled around the Dragon. He settled on going after the branches since they were probably easier to hit. Using his Zord's incredible speed he had it run to the battle while opening it's mouth. In a matter of seconds he had gotten close enough for his plan, which was simply to have the Sabertooth Tiger try and bite through the branches close to the Dragon Zord.
