Forneus - The Conflict

Forneus was only focused on DIO for the time being when he felt a gust of wind, as he turned around he saw a giant club being swung with so much force that it created the very essence of wind around it. Forneus had realized his foolishness and saw that it was too late to prepare any sort of defense for the giant mace, so he decided to do what the humans called: "taking it like man." The mace slammed into Forneus' right cheek, it stung the lord so hard he could swear that there was some sort of electricity in it! He could hear a slight crack, his jaw was dislocated, that he knew. Forneus flew back far, how regrettable that he had only focused on the target of his hate and had not noticed the metal man! The foolishness, the folly! As he flew he noticed that DIO had tried to make a sneaky move by trying to elbow his spine in, he had noticed his ice powers earlier and had neglected to remember that vampires also were well versed in ice-magic. Forneus thought quick as the pain from his jaw started to seep into his nerves, then it hit him! Waving his arms to the side in the air Forneus managed to pull some bubbles to himself, they quickly formed into a small carpet and caught the flying lord just as he was about to be elbowed, it only softened the blow a bit but it tore quite a bit into his spine managing to tear some flesh off. Forneus gritted teeth in pain as he flew backwards even more. Venge, who's thirst for blood had not been sated saw the target of his master's hate below it. The sword ached with desire and then promptly loosened itself from Forneus' belt and with an inhuman roar arched downward burning with hatred so warm and so savage that it would never burn out! It aimed for DIO's elbow and managed to propel Forneus to the right as it did.

The bubbles gently let him down near a street lamp and the lord managed to hunch himself over on his right arm. He hated his foolishness, had he focused more on all his opponents instead of one he would've gotten out of that situation a lot more smoothly he wouldn't have had his spine torn into and he wouldn't have had to had his jaw dislocated. As Forneus keeled he began to whisper to himself a small incantation, a small ring of blue began to appear around the lord. As the ring appeared what looked like an atom began to circle around the lord, making him glow blue each time one of the small electron-type things passed him. His jaw began to relocate itself, snapping into place and curling into its rightful spot. The flesh around his spine began to morph back to where it was previously, purple blood still spilling as it creased itself back into place. With a pop and a small gleam all the rings at once disappeared and Forneus' jaw was back to normal as was his back. However even though the pain was still there for the time being, Forneus felt a new pain- The pain of overestimating himself, he needed to fix it- now. If he did something like that again he would surely be killed, and if he died here it was the end of the Abyss's dreams for the moment. He couldn't let that happen and he began to devise a plan, he quickly started array his bubbles near him. Innovative... Maybe... If I posistion them right and if my knowledge of- Ah yes! Wait. What do the humans call it? Uh- Paydirt!

"Fweh! Well. I must say man of steel you do pack quite a powerful arm!" Forneus said as he felt the pain in his jaw, "Your excellent swing reminded me of a pirate whom I fought no too long ago, like you his swing was excellent- maybe even more so! But enough of my silly past, you have outwitted me and that impresses me greatly!" Forneus said this genuinely, even though it had been his own error the Overlord had managed to capatalize on it- therefore making him a very formidable foe. It had hit Forneus that DIO had amassed some of the finest, no more underestimating- these were real warriors and as such the Abyssal Lord of Water had to turn up the heat for once. "DIO! You have very powerful allies and believe it or not you've taught me a thing or two and for that I thank you warmly! But for now, we fight as adversaries! Prepare yourselves, I have been tempering this technique ever since I traveled through the portal here!"

At that moment Forneus waved his hands and in an instant the bubbles began to fly everywhere, they stopped right above streetlamps, angles diagonal to each other and places unseen. At that moment Forneus alinged the final bubble to himself which he began to power up with intense runic chants, the bubble glowed an eerie sea green as the rest of the bubbles one by one began to light up. Forneus finally threw the bubble upwards as it began to glow and finally it happened: All at once the other bubbles began to shine an eerie light that lit the whole street up with a rather emerald glow, Forneus after finishing his chant cried: "Rite of the Abyss - Inside Seiryu's Eyes!" The new technique he used was special, it allowed him to create afterimages of himself by using the illusion in the light that the bubbles created. He would appear fast to his enemies when in reality he himself was moving at normal pace, Forneus was done toying, now the fight was on for real.

Garie - Roanpur

Garie eyed up the men who approached her, all of them clutching to mundane weapons like they were a security blanket, even if they couldn't do any real damage to her. Luckily for them she wasn't in the mood to get rid of them, so as they stepped forward she took the package from them, out of general, idle interest. With that done they ran off, leaving her alone to examine the package.

Slipping it open, she quickly looked through the pictures and the instructions within, revealing some sort of medieval setting that they apparently wanted her to trash. She snorted aloud as she looked at the weaklings in the pictures. Seriously, knights in armor? Just who did they think that she was?

"Eh, not like I have anything better to do," she decided at last, shrugging as the pictures were tossed to the side. Who knew, maybe attacking some innocent people would bring out a hero for her to fight. That would definitely make it worth it, as far as she was concerned.

So with that said she got underway, headed towards the location marked out in the packet. She didn't care about conquest, just about doing what Carol would want her to do, and drawing out heroes to fight her. Along the way she did notice the sounds of an ongoing fight, but shrugged before moving on regardless. It didn't matter to her, and she already knew there wasn't anything overly amazing here at the moment, besides that one blond man. And she could meet him later.

For now, she was looking forward to seeing what came to face her in this new location.

Tailred, Mahora

Tailed waited patiently for the response to her defiant decree, to her vow to protect the people even if the people here weren't real. And she got it, first from that girl whose name she still didn't know, the redhead. Internal elation surged, and she made a quiet revision of her attitude towards the other girl at the same time. Well then, it seemed that she was a good person beneath the exterior after all.

Smiling, she looked back to FIlia as the girl began to answer, only it wasn't what she had expected. It was sad to think about, and maybe she had a point. Certainly these circumstances hadn't shown them having any power, or ability to do something. Yet she couldn't just give up, or cede to the thought that this all was inevitable and they had just ought to keep their heads down.

"If he did, we wouldn't have a chance." Tailred pointed out. "But the way I see things now, there's still hop. And so long as there's hope, we have to try." Not as much as she would like to say, but she was interrupted by the announcement, which drew her gaze away from the conversation.

She listened to the contents of the announcement before nodding in approval, her twintails bouncing at the motion. This would be a good way to find out where she could help out, and then actually get there. And it seemed that Samson agreed as well, before Filia flew off for the train.

Tailred prepared to follow, only to note that Samson had turned into twintails, which earned a grin and a fist pump at her apparent success. "Alright," she said to herself before looking to the others nearby. "Let's go." With that said she ran off, headed towards the waiting area and the train there. Time to go be a hero.

Yukine Chris

Chris leaned away on reflex as the insane man started waving his guns in her face, saying some... incomprehensible garbage about death sticks and, for all the small girl could really conclude was that the man was threatening her for Ichaival. Even if she'd not been transformed, there was no way that she was going to part with the Symphogear to appease some idiot that could never use it. And if she backed up much more, she'd have no room to manoeuvre.

The magical girl instead did the quick and easy thing: pistol-whip Krieg (or at least try) with far more force than you'd expect of a girl whose development seemed to have gone entirely to her chest. Then run, taking the less-followable escape route of 'jump onto a nearby roof'.

Grumbling about idiots, Chris went with the majority towards the train--maybe that way, there'd be some sort of explanation or way home. Even if there wasn't, it might be a way to get to that big swarm... and provide enough other people to get away from the gun-obsessed madman before he shot her to try and get Ichaival.

Just as she set her foot on the train's steely threshold, a random crick in Filia's neck tantalized her into quickly turning her head left to null the sensation. When she did so, she happened to spy an unusual sight just a few feet away. Well, compared to flying singers, gun-wielding psychopaths, dubiously edible monstrosities, and who knew what else, this particular sight did not compare, but for Filia it doubtlessly struck her because of its unique brand of strangeness.

Somewhere between mundane and ridiculous, and somewhere between the train and Chao's restaurant, sat a small bird. It appeared to be wearing a crafty little jacket, with white feathers arrayed neatly on its chest with sleeves, shoulders, and a coat of blue. Though its eyes and beak were a slick, ungracious sort of black, the jaunt flair of the feathers atop its head totally ruined any seriousness it might have otherwise had. Never before had Filia seen this type of bird. The only flying creatures that nested in New Meridian were the ones that withstood the squalor and chaos of the big city and thrived in it: the pigeons, the crows, and the bats. Moving with an instinctive caution, for fear that she might disturb the blue jay, the schoolgirl sidled away from the train's entrance. Tentatively she reached a delicate hand close to the animal, and Samson, having seen by now what his host was up to, sighed lightly and let her have her fun.

Filia didn't remember much from her earlier life, but just now she recalled the image of some graceful, beautiful lady in blue, who held a finger up for a bird to perch on. As well as she could, the schoolgirl imitated the gesture, and for a moment the jay, who studied the incoming human hand, seemed keen. A second later Filia's finger pierced whatever bubble it perceived to be its personal space, and in a flutter the handsome bird took off, shooting like an azure arrow to the roof of the eatery. There, it perched on the eaves and looked imperiously at the girl who wanted to feel the softness of its plumage. Only the slight downturn of Filia's eyebrows and lips marked her disappointment as she turned back to board the train, resigned to action instead of connection.

DIO – Positively 4th Street

@Luciansmentor@Invisible Man@Gamegurugg

A smirk escaped DIO when he witnessed that both the fearsome attacks of himself and Overlord met their mark. Standing up straight, he waited for his ally to draw even with him, arms crossed, and watched Forneus drift toward the pavement on a cushion of bubbles. Though his eyes acknowledged the existence of the bloodthirsty blade Venge, his muscles offered no response. An instant before the tip of the demon's sentient weapon would have pierced his arm, it caught suddenly in midair. The wrathful metal twisted and shuddered like an insect caught in a spider's web, but the hand of the World would not relinquish its hold. The vampire muttered something, and Venge plunged into the road, embedded there for the time being until its master could yank it out. Seeing Forneus working another spell, DIO shrugged and allowed him to do so. Moments later, he suppressed a laugh to see that after all, the abyssal lord just needed healing. Though on the outside DIO reeked over indifference and overconfidence, his mind sped to catalog the observance. After taking a dire blow, Forneus appeared to need time to cast a spell to restore himself, during which time he unknowingly delivered himself into his foes' hands.

Another moment ticked by, the quiet and heavily-damaged street evocative of the ominous peace of the warzone, before Forneus resumed his blather. The vampire presumed to speak for the Overlord after the metal behemoth received a compliment. ”Think nothing of it, chum. Save your admiration for feats that require effort.” He tilted his head, and his long, blonde hair waved like yellow flame through the slight city breeze. Not many of the people whom DIO faced could boast this kind of impudence and self-importance, and it amused him—but then again, seldom did any being unfortunate enough to fall afoul of the World's user last more than a second against him. Once Forneus ceased talking, turning his focus to another magical art, DIO sighed, ”You're far too hammy for me to take you seriously, you know.” A dome of bubbles surrounded him, and the world appeared a viridian green. Still DIO spoke. “A technique tempered over time? What kind of ultimatum is that?”

The afterimages of Forneus came forth, filling DIO's eyes with the mildly irritating likeness of his enemy. Still DIO spoke. ”Allow me to give you an example. Forneus! I've grown bored, and intend to finish you now. If you survive this, I invite you to think again about the nature of power. Until then, goodbye!” It was as if God pressed the 'pause' button. With time stopped, the look of the abyssal lord's face struck DIO as somewhat comical, but more importantly, that look belonged to the real Forneus. The vampire had dealt with afterimages before thanks to his former servant Polnareff, user of the Stand Silver Chariot. They were tricks of light and motion that relied on speed, and in the absence of speed -or any motion at all- the illusion failed. DIO grinned and allowed time to continue as normal.

The world sprang into motion again. The real Forneus was lost amid the insane flurry of afterimages, but DIO remembered where he was. His body flashed and the World surged forward toward Forneus, to grab him by the collar, and to hurl him with enough force to send him flying for a couple of blocks. While this move did no damage, it would most certainly get the demon lord out of DIO's luscious hair, and permit his affairs to progress forward once more.

Krieg - Mahora

You know, when both conscious and primal mind both fanatically agree upon this one particular thing, it most likely refers that they are quite messed up when it comes to that subject. Sure, shields and grenades were always something that were useful in mostly all situations, but it is the gun that completely demolishes most of your enemies. The way the grip seamlessly fits within your hands, the muscles that work to handle the recoils, the heat from the barrel that steams away at your skin, and especially watching your well-aimed bullets go straight into the critical spots of an enemy. Both yearned for that feeling, although the Voice was more specific with his requirements for murder compared to his neighbor, the Psycho. However, it was only last minute until the Voice realized something while approaching that girl, she was most likely not going to give her those beauties, and that look on her face probably meant something bad was going to happen quite soon. "Watch out!" The voice said, alerting the body by reflex about incoming attacks.

By almost pure instinct, the built body of the Psycho quickly reacted to the pistol whip. Dropping both of his weapons, digistructing immediately back into their transportable forms, the arm moved at almost lightning speed. Although the Psycho couldn't dodge the attack, he could easily redirect the force to strike against the tougher sides of his body. Easily, the reflex made its mark as the pistol slammed with quite an amazing force for someone her size, although Gaige's robotic arm packed more of a punch that Chris's pistol. Still, the attack barely even phased the Psycho, his shield allowing him to resist most types of damage with an almost superhuman level! Thanks Jackobs! Though immediately after the attack, the gun-toting-girl bolted away. "Eh?" The Voice questioned.

"Friendship is pain." Krieg muttered to himself, creeping out his conscious upon another level. Krieg ran after Chris soon after, even though he couldn't jump onto buildings with one leap, the Psycho still had a rather impressive stamina record like the rest of his fellow vault hunters. And the Voice had to admit while Krieg chased after this girl, she was most likely the only person that could resemble some type of vault hunter. The rest had a certain aura that couldn't fit within Pandora's standards, but with the artillery hefting Chris, she could bring upon an array of devastating destruction that could bring entire bandit camps to shame! Krieg must have realized this even before part of his mind could muster up that thought, and it seemed that Krieg had a certain eye for people that can cause some pain, and it was his job to determine if those destructive talents were good or bad. At the moment, this Chris character seemed like a decent person, so he allowed this current chase to go along as he wanted to see this person fight as much as Krieg wanted to see her kill.

The Overlord - Positively 4th Street

Watching the attack follow true to its target, the Overlord felt a certain heartwarming sensation in his body as two devastating attacks crashed straight into Forneus. The strike to the face would have been painful enough, but as DIO forcefully smashed his elbow into Forneus's spine. It only made things better as the demon flew away from the force of both attacks, and the Overlord clearly saw the damage that had been done to the body. Although, his unnerving eyes caught something that interested him. Forneus's sword seemed to unlatch itself from its scabbard and was soon accompanied with a roaring blast as it sliced through the air. Glancing towards DIO, the metal man barely had any magic left inside of his body due to two exhausting fights, and it was apparent that the roaring blade wasn't headed towards him, but his ally DIO. The Overlord, with anticipation, waited for the the oncoming clash. By the looks of his body, DIO seemed that he was trying to play chicken with this blade as it continued to be hurdled towards him with immense speed, but the look in his impassive eyes seemed to be saying something else.

It was then the whirling blade stopped, inches away from the arm being turned into mincemeat. Telekinesis? The Overlord was pretty sure that he was just going to teleport once again, but this DIO just continued to pull out powerful moves out of his bottomless hat! The wriggling blade struggled in mid-air for only a few seconds before it smashed into the ground, the blade halfway into the ground. The Overlord looked at the defeated blade before his head turning towards the owner, his body in perfect shape. Ah well, Forneus will remember the pain even if his body had been repaired from his impressive magic. Though, the compliments came out of nowhere. It interested the Overlord, he didn't do too much outwitting, he rather just slammed his mace into his face when he got pissed off. However, the Overlord wasn't going to deny praise for his prowess of fighting, including his enemies. He glanced towards DIO, acknowledging his comment for that brief moment before looking back towards the fight at hand. The area around the three turning into some type of huge bubble enveloping them all.

This moment was also strange, DIO and the Overlord allowing Forneus to prepare his spells like this without doing anything. The Overlord was just plain tired, but he didn't know why DIO was just standing beside him as well. It looked like he was having fun toying with this demon, but he could tell that he was getting tired of him. With enough time allowed for Forneus to complete his attack, and yet again yelling out his attack, dozens of Forneus filled the landscape. Great, the Overlord had a good eye, but not good enough to track the real annoying brat. If this didn't end soon, the two will be pelted with attacks from all sides without even knowing where the opponent is attacking! The Overlord did have a spell that could counter against this type of attack, but his reserves were too low to produce such a powerful thing. The best he could do at the moment was fire just a few bolts of lighting and churn out just a couple fireballs. Although, when DIO finished speaking, things got serious.

Instantly DIO managed to grab Forneus, his ally using his telekinesis once again and somehow pinpointed the exact location of Forneus within the dozens of clones. It was almost scary to find that DIO spent little over five seconds talking to find the true location of the water demon, the Overlord wondered if his entire army of minions could battle against this foe. Watching silently, DIO soon enough threw the boy several blocks away without another thought, effectively ending the battle for the time. So, he looked over to Juri to see if she did anything productive during the fight to find two people standing in the background, covered by some type of bubble shield. Huh, when did they get there? Shrugging to himself, the Overlord walked over towards Juri holding the manila folder and pointed at them, wondering what was inside as it most likely pertained to the situation revolving around the Viewer.

Forneus - The Air of Positively 4th Street

Forneus, after his technique had been flawlessly and seemingly anticlimactically destroyed by DIO's teleportation he was grabbed by an invisible force. This must be the being, no doubt. It appears I have lost this, damn! If only my power was greater, the Abyss's power is still weak! Forneus thought to himself as he flew down three blocks of sugar coated goodness, as he did- Venge, sensing its master grow farther away rose out of the pavement and followed toward the direction of Forneus. Rrrgh. If only I had my power, my TRUE power. I could've shown him- wait. That's what all the humans say! Have I been reduced to nothing but a weak human!? No. That's not it. Sure you may be weak right now- but something else is definitely a factor. Venge rejoined its master as Forneus landed on a tall building overlooking Roanpur. He braced himself with his magic and landed feet first onto the hard concrete. As he got up slowly, a stream of thoughts poured into the lord's mind as he looked back to where he had came from. He saw DIO, The Overlord and Juri. They were all barely visible from where he was standing but he could make them out. Hmph. For me to lose to an arrogant Vampire. How irritating, but expected as such considering my power is so low right now. I'll be he feels good, taking out a "little fly" doesn't he? Well, no matter now. Forneus got up, Venge ached in dissappointment- it craved to wrong the person who wronged its master.

Forneus walked along the rather creamy top of the building to look out at the night sky. It was very beautiful, much like how the skies of the Abyss which could not be seen by lower demons were. As the lord's gaze drifted off into the deep sky he began to think once again, DIO is a very powerful adversary as I said to him prieviously, and he is one of the very few I give that title to. He may think of me as an insect now, but I shall wait and I shall watch him. After all, like demons, huma- er- vampires also have flaws, it's in their nature and there's nothing they can do about it. My nature was shown right there! I rushed into battle because my only ally was killed and because I didn't respect DIO's power! So it's only natural that I lost. Forneus snickered to himself, he stared once again back the intersection of 4th Street and smiled his wide smile once again. This world from what he had gathered was not to be trifled with and instead he should look at it as an open window to anything the mind could think of. A colossal metal man, a girl with spider clothing and a vampire with teleportation powers who could control a being of pure energy! Truly, there was more than met the human and abyssal eye. The mission was Forneus' first and foremost duty though, for the sake of his lords and for the sake of his kind he would find a way to oust DIO. Then he would take control of this miserable city, kill all it's inhabitants and once again restore the abyss to the glory it once held.

The full moon shown the eyes of the lord, so ruby that even the finest gem harvesters could not cultivate them. He had no longer welled up with Abyssal energy, he had calmed donw and without hesitation he spoke aloud, "So, this is how it begins? How it's supposed to start eh? Is this our tapestry? Our canvas? Interesting, so this is the what happens when an amalgamation of beings happens to be clustered in one huge world?! Whoever the viewer is, this is pure genius! I wonder what he'll toy with next? It's like a child who just got their first toy and are trying to figure out the features!" Forneus giggled, "Well, count me in Viewer. Entice the Lord of Water with your antics! I'll take them as they go, good or bad." Forneus' giggle evolved into a laugh, "And as for you DIO, the first lesser demon to best me in combat- I applaud you! You have taken control of quite a major city in this play about a new world and for that you have my praise. But rest assured, you cannot fathom the power of the Abyss and though you may be cunning not everything is understandable! You have aspirations of dominance, of leadership, of glory but you do not realize that their is no true leader! None can be perfect and most certainly none can be the "crown of creation!" Forneus began to laugh even more, "And in the near future, you shall see what you most fear. The fear of the unknown, the fear of loss- no- the fear of the end! You will taste my true power and when you have finally gorged yourself on it I'll eviscerate you like the pig that you are! So enjoy what you have now Roanpur, Viewer and DIO. For when the time comes, the world will bathe in the glow of the Death Eclipse and the Abyss will be reborn!" Forneus' laughter evolved into a cackle which echoed throughout Roanpur for at least a minute before stopping.

The Lord retreated into the building, plotting his next move as the moon's glare shown down on Roanpur.

Juri, Positively 4th Street

Once the fight had ended, Juri had dismissed her stand. She smirked and walked over to DIO and the Overlord with the thick manila folder in tow. Juri was sad the fight had to end so abruptly, but there was better things to do than a mere fight now, having looked through the folder when the fight was going on. Not that she didn't care about the fight, but with the Feng Shui Engine shut down, Juri couldn't even hoped to fight at that level, and that was no fun to her.

"Our Dark Knight over here might get a kick out of this," Juri said as she showed DIO and the Overlord what the folder contained. "Someone will reward us if we beat the nobility out of some medieval morons..."

Juri turned to the Overlord, thinking that 'medieval moron' might apply to him as well and not wanting to offend an ally accidentally, decided to clarify, "No offense."

It was then Juri noticed... The Feng Shui Engine was finally finished rebooting. She could now fight with the full power of the Feng Shui Engine on her side, even if not at full strength. Juri grinned madly at DIO and tapped the side of her head with her false left eye, hinting to the vampire what had just occured. It was about damn time that accursed thing rebooted and she could get back to having good fights again.

Mahora Campus- Train That Looks Like a Giant Children's Toy Going Off To New Adventures

Nodding as she saw enough people fill up the train, Chao simply waited until everybody got on the slightly kiddy looking vehicle (in Ranma's case, it was rather literally considering he was sitting atop the thing rather than in where the mostly sane were) before pressing a button. With that go ahead, the train began to chug on ahead with the telltale sign of a whistle. Slow at first but then rapidly picking up speed, the thing became a blur as it sped towards the east. For those that weren't on the train, they would be able to catch a ride on the second vehicle that pulled up, looking much like the first though palette-swapped in darker colors.

As the first batch of would be rescuers settled down, the scenery would rapidly begin to change. Orderly buildings and Japanese streetsigns soon gave way to a vast grass plain, dotted every now and then with nonsensical food trees. Beasts such as a herd of cheese colored cows ambled by, chewing the cud of the grass while the sky overhead was a beautiful blue color of early morning. Ranma saw all this and relaxed a bit more even as he idly stuck onto the top of the bullet train via usage of ki, enjoying the wind pressure like a regular person the breeze. His eyes however continued to sweep the surrounding from his perch, and at the sign of any trouble accruing, swift action would be taken.

Strangely, the ending of tracks in Mahora did nothing to curb the Denliner's enthusiasm given the thing seemed to be making its own tracks appear underneath. If anything that answered another one of Ranma's questions given the fact that not all places would have the same features that another chunk might be able to make use of. Rather handy this thing was, though it was still tacky. Given the speeds at which the repurposed vehicle was traveling, it wasn't long before the edge of the medieval territory was reached- though his enjoyment of the train ride was rather curbed by the fact they were closing in on a small hamlet village that was all but burning almost maliciously merrily, wooden cottages with their thatched straw roofs all but easy fuel for the fires. Cries of hapless people rang in the air as well as the sound of running feet, before coarse laughter of rough men rang out.

The situation was indeed as bad as Ranma had thought when his gaze saw exactly what was happening. Peasants, poor folks who tilled the land in their rough garments were indeed being harassed by ne'er-do-wells. It was the villains that seemed out of place in this medieval society, given the fact they appeared to belong to giant mohawked bikers in leather jackets bulging with muscles and armed with various weapons including what looked like a flamethrower. Before the train fully stopped a scant fifty feet away, Ranma swept forward with an angry look on his face and smashed his leg into a giggling simpleton that was about to cut down a small girl. His dynamic entry succeeding, the much bigger man was launched with all the force of a cannonball away. "You ugly suckers need a good thrashing." Reaching out and snatching an abandoned gardening hoe, the boy literally jumped at the call and began expertly thwacking angered friends of the downed bandit. Elsewhere, more hooligans were spreading out from the village and approaching the train with the intention of hijacking it even as the other half continued to make havoc within the previously sleepy hamlet.

Time was of the essence if people were to be saved, and thus the pigtailed boy laid into the raiders with a fury that was missing when the insects attacked. If anything, he was shocked that people would be doing something so blatant. Even in Nerima people weren't as unethical as this and most of the fights happened due to misplaced pride and dirtied honor. Twirling the makeshift weapon, he made use of the angled head to pull and push people off their game before smashing the metal head into their flesh and blood ones, crumpling them down with the inhuman force he was capable of dishing out. Sometimes the boy even let go of the hoe and flung it into the surroundings, making people step on the head and have the shaft slam in between their eyes like a slapstick comedy before smashing a fist harder than most iron into their temples and retaking his tool to expertly parry and dodge axes, chains, and nail bats.

Seedy Cesspit of Crime and Human Filth, Roanapur

The Hispanic man nodded rapidly like a bobble-head, his sweat slicked face caught in an uneasy and wooden smile as he found that some of the people were interested in the job. "T-that's good... After you've gone out and caused havoc, our gangs will send in sweepers to take care of the rest. THe place is practically a giant meal ticket, having enough land to grow both food and drugs t-that old girl Roanapur needs. Mines full of iron that can be turned into b-bullets... You'll all get quite a lot of benefits for helping, h-hehehe..." Basically, with their displacement from modern day Earth, the port town city needed to be able import the necessities from the rest of the surroundings to supplant the old one that they were torn from. The fact that things were more survival of the fittest worked well to their advantage, considering their neighbors were either technologically better but rather soft or with lower tech bases that couldn't fight against firearms and explosives.

"A-anyway, to get on over there, j-just take a boat to the west until you hit the shoreline dotted with the fishing villages. From there, just make your way inland and take out the pesky dragon riding nobles holed up in the nearby castle." The gangster stated, his hands performing a vaguely fly-like motion as he tried to make himself as non-threatening as possible in the midst of the super powered freaks. His armed compatriots shifted uneasily as they've watched the fight from start to finish, seeing just how easily these people can kill and dole out damage, to the point where they were put on the same level as a certain Terminator-esque maid.

Tachibana Hibiki

Having rushed off of her own accord before the train even arrived to be boarded, the magical girl obviously wasn't on the train when it pulled off from its implausible station in the middle of a street through the world's most gratuitously large school campus. Thus it came to her attention when train tracks started to lay themselves down almost on top of her person. With minimal time to react, Hibiki did the simple thing: jump.

Rather than becoming a pretty splatter across the windscreen, she managed to clear the Denliner's roof, only to land back on it with a rather noisy thud; one hand pushed itself into the metal in order to find purchase whilst she could get her balance--something that made her wonder about the boy further down the carriages who was somehow sticking on without any kind of effort at all. It wasn't something that she needed to wonder about for long, since the train seemed to be reaching its destination.

The devastation was appalling and the bikers perpetrating it even more so, yet when Hibiki also departed the train's roof she took up a far less violent approach than the martial artist; whilst there were plenty of people in need of saving and protection, she went for the probably more-alarming (to them) approach of grabbing hold of people and moving them to a safer position... though this meant that in essentially no time at all, if she tried to move away, the people behind her would get attacked again.

Opening her mouth to try and get the advancing gang members to stop fighting (or find out why they were even attacking these people) proved untenable: no sooner had she tried than she was being attacked by rather too many people, and the only way out was a spinning kick that should have gotten her stabbed in various nasty places, but instead managed to deal with the handful of mooks that had chosen to surround her... though the crunching from the impact of the rocket-boosted attack made her wince. Plus she still wasn't going on the offensive.

Yukine Chris

With no other clues where to go, Chris followed the bright signs towards the eatery, remembering the voice saying something about 'heroism'. If she could get inside a building, then it should be easy to lose the lunatic for good if her ability to take a more direct path wasn't enough to get away from him. When she eventually reached the signposted location, the white-haired girl dropped back down to the ground and took a look around.

This must be that idiot's idea of paradise, she thought, looking at the tree that was implausibly fruiting lunch of all things, before turning around to look at the train. She supposed that the ominous-looking vehicle had to be the reason that people from all over the place were being directed here... and it was certainly somewhere that she could hide and maybe find out just what the hell was going on. After taking a second to grab the impossible food (it was nearly lunch, anyway), the now untransformed girl boarded, wearing a uniform that she'd still somehow managed to make frillier than normal.

Kino

As a Traveler, Kino's normal course of action was to let things proceed as they went. Even if she may have found something wrong, it was not her place to interfere. In some cases, even if she felt something was deeply wrong, she could not interfere. There were a few cases where things did not follow this course. There were a few cases in which Kino did not have to intervene, and yet she did. There were a few cases in which neutrality no longer held its place in her mind, at least until the matter had ended.

A raised blade over the head of a woman carrying a baby.

In the blink of an eye, the girl had drawn her weapon. In a flash, she had pulled the trigger, a motion too quick for many of the burly men to even register what had happened, especially in light of the others assaulting their forces. The bullet tore through his chest, leaving an ugly hole as he stumbled back and hit the ground, dropping his machete, and bleeding crimson. He was dead before he fell.

There was no pause in Kino's actions. Hermes was left, carefully, near the train, and the dark-haired traveler broke into a sprint. Then men who were not already under attack were now her targets. The first swung a blade at her as she drew close, but ducking beneath it was no difficult matter. They weren't armed with Persuaders, merely blades, so it was a matter of getting a good shot on them rather then dodging gunfire. The Cannon was raised and fired, and the shot hit with enough impact blow apart his forehead, and send him toppling to the ground in a shower of blood and skull fragments. Kino's expression did not change. Little in her smooth, agile actions showed any of her internal feelings.

Killing brought her no pleasure. But everything that was happening here... Neutrality was simply not an option.

Two shots. Four remaining before she had to reload or switch to the Huntsmen. As another man attempted to take her by surprise, she spun and fired directly into his chest before he could come closer. He fell in mid-stride and blood pooled beneath his corpse.

Sakura Kyouko

Kyouko saw the train and assumed it was where they were intended to go. However, well... she wasn't about to waste all the food that was around. There were a bunch of pre-made bento boxes, who just left those behind? Without the slightest hesitation, she began her harvest. One box, two boxes, three boxes, four boxes... stacking them on the train swiftly, she went back out to collect even more. Five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten... at ten, she decided she'd come back later. Grinning with triumph, Kyouko boarded the train.

"Hah, there we go. That'll last me a day or two!"

Damian Wayne

As the bizarre, likely magical train rolled to a stop and Damian rolled out of the cargo hold prepped for whatever insanity this morphing, reality bending world was about to throw at him he was greeted by the sight of a veritable horde of delinquents and numerous buildings on fire. Overly large, punk-styled bikers wielding chains and big knives and makeshift clubs and if his eyes didn't deceive him some sort of flamethrower, all of them rippling with needlessly over-developed muscles and sporting cruel grins or laughing maniacally as they menaced innocents with imminent violence of one kind or another.

If he actually were any mere child instead of Damian Wayne, such a comfortingly familiar sight after the past day and a half of ludicrousness would have been enough to bring tears to his eyes. As it was he just found himself smirking uncontrollably and launching himself into the fray without a second thought. Was that girl powered by music from before actually trying to negotiate with those piles of scum? Well, Damian had the cure for that sort of naive approach.

Specifically his cure started with a sharpened bird-a-rang through the hand of a mook about to hit the girl with a machete, the man's grin suddenly replaced with a shocked scream. As a follow-up, a flying side-kick to the back of the head of the same biker that lead to a satisfying impact under his heavily reinforced boot along with the typical unconscious slump, momentum doing for the Boy Wonder what his small size didn't accomplish. He whirled as another thug whipped a chain at him, stepping inside of its' reach to blunt some of the momentum with an armored gauntlet and allowing it to wrap around him. The chain-wielder grinned as he assumed the small boy was now trapped, only to spasm and howl in pain as the masked child gripped the metal chain and activated his gloves' electroshock feature until the big man keeled over limp. Taking the chain for himself he whirled it at another's feet and yanked to bring him down with a wrapping maneuver to the ankles. Then Damian jumped on the disoriented thug's chest with a thud and began punching him in the head rapidly and mercilessly with his weighted, armored gauntlets.

He turned to Hibiki with a rather stern expression on his young face even as he continued to casually reduce a man's features to bloody hamburger "People like these really aren't deserving of mercy or second chances, you know. I mean really-" Another thug trying to flank him from behind was surprised as the young boy suddenly backflipped and wrapped his legs around the poor man's shoulders like a piggyback ride from hell, hands jabbing for a pair of pressure points at the neck that sent him to the ground "-you need to have a certain amount of professional pragmatism to work as a proper hero."

As a demonstration, Damian rolled off the unconscious enemy's back and proceeded to slam a gauntlet into a fifth thug's groin, then grabbed the big man's head as he bent over in order to deliver a series of teeth-shattering Muay Thai flying knees until his opponent's legs gave out. Then the child brushed himself off disdainfully, gestured around to the girl as if asking her to take in his handiwork, then checked each unconscious man's vitals in turn. After making sure none of them were dying, he gave them a few admittedly childish steel-toed kicks to the ribs for good measure before scampering off in search of more thugs to fight.

This was at least something about this crazy world that finally made sense to Damian.

Jax - The Merciless Kingdom

While on the Train, Jax's thoughts were strengthened with new resolve for protecting the innocent people in the Kingdom. He remembered back to his childhood days in Ionia in which because of one of the high elders in Ionia's council, the country became corrupt. Streets would be filled with various people fighting over money, gutters would be full of dead bodies and public places of worship would be defiled by anarchists who sought to overrun the Ionian Order. Jax instead of being payed to do so, took it upon himself to end the elder's tyranny. Though his father wouldn't approve his actions, his mother would and would've joined him if she was still alive. Together with a band of other mercenaries seeking to end the corruption stormed into the Ionian Order, Jax making sure to disguise himself so that his reputation wouldn't be ruined. Within two hours the overthrew the elder and the public ushered a stern warning to the Order to listen to the people first, not some leader! Jax restored peace to Ionia and with the help of the Kinkou, Ionia's Clan of Ninjas restored Ionia to the way it had been before. Things would be perfect for at least awhile- that is, until the Order of Shadows and Elder Ulkan came into focus. Jax had to leave Ionia during that time to let the Kinkou and the Order sort things out, 'twas a dark time in Ionia. But the past was the past and now the Grandmaster needed to move on.

The train rolled into the station, Jax could sense the wheels grinding against the metal rails as it came to a screeching halt. Quickly Jax clasped his hands as he changed his uniform again. Slowly the Grandmaster began to take on a rather knightly appearance, his right musclebound became exposed, his red knitted coat turned into a scarlet cloth which strewn itself across Jax's body. Then various armor plating appeared, attaching itself to Jax's elbows, kneecaps, torso and finally shoulders. His ballcap and mask broke into pieces and flew away from him, only to come back and reform themselves into a gladiator's helmet. At least 32 small holes began to glow blue and a red mohawk popped out of the helmet completing it. Finally, two bandages wrapped around Jax's wrists as an iron gauntlet flew on to the left one and a glove attached itself to the other. Then Jax grabbed his Solari Halberd out from his bag, this new form was called Jaximus. With a, "Here's to you kid." Jax hopped off the train and into the fray.

The Grandmaster noticed something while Saotome was fighting the group of raiders, in the back of them there was one raider who had something in his arms. Knowing his friend was in peril Jax jumped in front of Saotome to block an arrow with his shoulder plate. It bounced off with a loud "dink!" as Jax landed next to the pony-tailed fighter, surrounded by angry raiders. "Sorry, I don't take well to people doin' that sorta thing to my partners." Said the smiling Grandmaster as he pointed his halberd at the crowd, "You probably don't know who we are do you? Alright then, say Ranma? What about we show these clowns who the Grandmaster and the most rag-tag fighter are eh?" Jax said as he looked at Ranma smiling under his mask. Jax was quite confident in his friends, after all in the League you had to if you ever wanted to improve, it was hammered into your head at day one- work together, work fluently and most of all with conviction. The Grandmaster lived by this rule, he would help these people, even if he had no idea who they were or where they came from.

Tailred, Mahora

Tailred would admit that it was a bit of a run, and perhaps she would have been better off flying to their destination, given that she had the ability to do so. But she could use the exercise, and it wasn't as if she was very far from where they were being directed to either. So she would allow the situation to persist, at least until a train came into sight, waiting for them to board so that it could get underway.

Her sword dismissed for the moment, Tailred watched with some amusement as the spear wielding redhead began grabbing bento boxes with a surprisingly alacrity. Or rather, it would have been a surprise had previous experience not made this sort of activity seem relatively normal for her. Meanwhile, the one with all the guns had transformed back, taking on a school uniform.

She considered it for a moment, before deciding to stay as this. It wouldn't be long before they were back in the fight after all, and so she had some reasoning for her decision. Still, that didn't stop her from retrieving some lunch of her own, which she carried onto the train and sat down to enjoy

In the process of that, she could only stare at Kyouko, and her proud declaration, before looking at the accumulated pile of bento boxes. A day or two? There had to be fourteen boxes there! "Geez, how can you eat so much that quickly," she wondered aloud. As far as she was concerned it was a fair question, as she returned to eating her gathered lunch. Not bad, not bad at all.

Garie, Roanpur

Garie shrugged at the promise of good rewards, and whatever followed on the heels of her going through the place they were being asked to attack. She didn't really care, and they couldn't really provide anything for her. She was simply doing it of her own free will, in the hope that attacking innocents would draw out people that she could actually find interesting. It would be the easiest way to do so.

"Yeah, whatever you say," she replied before walking off, headed towards the shoreline so that she could go appropriate a boat to use to get where she needed to go. Given her powers though, that shouldn't be too difficult to do.

At the same time, she reached into her pockets to feel a couple crystals there, small gems bearing alchemical magic just waiting to be used, which earned a grin on her part. Yes, she was going to make Carol proud. And one way or another, she would get home to her. So she made her way to the shoreline to find a boat to use so that she could do this silly little job for them all.

Chun-Li, Chao's Toy Train

Chun-Li had enjoyed the train ride over to the new area... at least, until she saw that the medieval village they were headed to was on fire. As the train, tacky as it was, got closer, she saw that it was some weird sort of biker punks who had been terrorizing the town. No matter, her world has had gangs like this in the past and someone of her considerable skill could kick their butts thoroughly. However, she had not joined into the fray, just yet... Ranma, the Grandmaster and the others seemed to be holding their own. However, when one of the punks approached the entrance of the train, she kicked him in a particularly sensitive spot, and then threw him hard at his comrades. Chun-Li strolled out, not even adopting a fighting stance as of yet, with a look of our anger on her face.

"No would-be Mad Gear Gang is going harm children while I breathe," Chun-Li said simply as she jumped into the air and slammed her foot into the nearest of the punks and kicked him toward more of his comrades. Another attempted to swing an aluminium bat at Chun-Li but she caught it with one hand and then kicked him in the stomach. As she marched through the gang, Chun-Li punched or kicked any within range into submission. She was the strongest woman in the world, and she aimed to prove it on these people who would dare harm children.

Filia - Kingdom Land

At the telltale sounds of action, Filia bolted upright. Holding on to a metal pole for support, she leaned out the window and watched as the besieged village came into view. Scarcely had the vehicle stopped before it disgorged its occupants, all hankering to lay waste to the bloodthirsty biker gang, and Filia ran among them. She spared no second thought for her allies, figuring that actual 'heroes' could take on thugs without her help, and sprinted for a target of her own. On the corner of the village where the group of newcomers began their rescue, there leaned against a building a heavy-set man seemingly uncommitted to hurting the townsfolk, instead keeping watch. When the real fight began, he reached for a massive cannon lying on the ground, and with enormous effort heaved it onto his shoulder. Already panting and straining from the herculean effort, he aimed the mammoth weapon toward the heroes with one arm, shaking reaching into his pocket for a lighter.

Filia recognized the threat immediately, pushing aside her astonishment at the superhuman feat. She jogged toward him, Samson lengthening her hair into thick, powerful tentacles as she did, and barely had she come to resemble a schoolgirl with a huge black octopus on her head before the cannon went off. Samson threw his tentacles forward, layering them into a cushioning barrier, and still the metal ball pushed Filia off her feet. She hit the ground face-first, getting a mouthful of grass to promptly spit out, and struggled to rise again. The cannonball fell into the earth with a whump, still smoking. Meanwhile, her opponent dropped the cannon, wheezing. The explosion of his hilariously impractical weapon had blown him over as well, burning his shoulder and making him go deaf in one ear. “That's what I get for tryin' t'be impressive...” he grumbled, pulling himself upright at the same time as Filia. Another one of the bikers ran past, pursuing a villager, and the heavy-set man caught him by the shoulder. “Hey!” He shouted, still deafened. “Will ya stop goin' after the people already? There's people come to stop us—look! That kid over there's just shooting us! Take whatever stuff you got an' run! If ya kill anyone ya deserve t'be killed.” He shoved the other mook away, who ignored him and charged toward Jax. Swearing, the heavy-set man turned to look at Filia, now running toward him. “Don't matter if I am a thief, I'll fight ya fair and square! Gimme yer best shot!”

The next moment, a cluster of hairbundles all shaped like brushes, scissors, or combs all collided with his face. Having performed a jump-in attack, Filia landed and followed up with a light punch and light kick before crouching. She continued the chain attack with an upward sweep of her hair, then slipped her hair around her foot for a low drill kick. The biker took all these attacks, but when Filia dropped her combo the next instant, he struck back with an double-fisted overhead. Sensing her mistake, the schoolgirl tried to block, but her foe's attack went over her block and clocked her on the noggin. Now stunned, Filia fell subject to a low knee, a followup low knee, and a shouldercharge that knocked her back. No stranger to being knocked down, Filia sprang up again thanks to Samson, who then sent a ringlet spike into the ground to catch the fat biker unawares. However dumb he looked, the cannoneer did not fall for it, instead crouching down to block before jumping in once the ringlet spike ended. Seeing her chance, Filia called, “updo!” prompting Samson to open his mouth wide and propel her into the air. The uppercut gouged into the biker mid-attack, throwing him down to land ponderously on the earth.

Now both breathed heavily, particularly the fat man as he drew himself up. Filia stood, chest heaving, her hair gathered into tentacles to grab the biker and slam him around should Samson have the strength. She scowled as ferociously as she could, though her parasite did better, and said, “G-get lost! Your gang is f-finished!”

The biker grinned. “Nah, I think I'm stickin' around! The others all like pickin' on the weak, but I like fair fights! You 'n me gonna fight until one of us drops—I don't care if I go to jail or not!” He pulled a cigar from a pocket and pressed it against his smoldering hair. It lit up, smoking profusely, and with little ceremony he crushed it between his palms before throwing it at Filia. Samson brought int an overlarge bang to block the projectile, but on contact it burst into a miniature cloud of smoke, obscuring Filia's view and causing her to cough. The fat man thundered forward in a special shoulder-charge, ready to bull his opponent down.

”Hah, you got guts for a thief! Fenris...” Grunting in surprise, the biker's charge was interrupted as Samson unfurled into a larger and stronger version of Updo, which carried him into the air as Filia shot skyward. While both were airborne, Filia's hair rearranged into the form of a huge wolf beneath her, with Samson's yellow eyes and toothy grin. He clamped down on the biker, both parasite and host yelled, ”DRIVE!”, and all three cannoned into the ground. When the dust cleared, Filia stood above the fat biker, arms crossed and hair back to normal. ”Done yet?” demanded Samson.

Dazed but not unconscious, the brute groaned. “Ah...yeah, yeah. Won't...move. Dunno if I can.” He lay still, trying to regain his breath, as Filia dashed off. “What a day...”

DIO - Roanapur Bay

@gamegurugg@invisible man

With the rather uninspiring fight concluded, a potential concern from earlier wormed its way into DIO's mind, prompting him to turn his eyes toward the sky. For now the day remained overcast, blanketing the nonsensical City with a downy sheet of gray, but a bothersome itching sensation across every inch of the vampire's skin told him that the convenient cloud cover wouldn't be covering his weakness much longer. A very short period of consideration later, he determined it to be the best option to retire to Hotel California and continue poring through his book. By chance he recalled the exact degree to which Juri assisted him during the skirmish with Forneus, and bereft of much good nature DIO turned to bring this matter up to her.

Instead, he found himself offered a folder. After giving Juri a questioning look he received the item and scanned its contents. ”I suppose a little bloodshed would liven up the day. Usually, I'm not one to go out and do dirty work myself, but having been stolen into this mad world I don't imagine my modus operandi matters. Very well, then. Let us find some method of transport and get going.” He observed as Juri tapped her head, seeing the restored power within her left eye. Prior to now, he had not considered the martial artist sharing the fuel source typical to engines, and that a lack of power might excuse her inability to attack Forneus. He shrugged, turning away, and remarked. ”I have no doubts you'll pull your weight this time.”

The trip, boring as it was, passed quickly. At the gangsters' direction, the trio passed through the outskirts of Roanapur to the docks, were ushered onto a boat, and set off. DIO managed to survive the totally unstimulating series of events by withdrawing into contemplation aboard the ship, surfacing from his thoughts of language and English history only to heave a sigh for how little he enjoyed being on boats. When the craft's stern touched short, the jarring impact knocked the vampire from his reverie, and without further ado DIO stretched himself and sauntered forth. ”Dragon riders...” he murmured as the castle drew into view, baring his teeth as the cloud cover grew ever weaker. ”I'm excited to see a creature of legend brought to life, but to return it to fiction will be even more rewarding.”

Juri, Roanapur Bay

"Sorry," Juri said as she looked away from DIO when he mentioned about pulling her weight. The fact she had disappointed DIO should not have affected her as much to feel shame about it, but DIO's comment had stung hard. However, it seemed as if he was okay with going to she accepted what she saw as her punishment as they boarded the ship. While DIO had stayed inside contemplating language and English history, Juri spent the uneventful trip training to get back up to her usual fighting strength now that the Feng Shui Engine was back online. She was eager to prove her worth to DIO by massacring each and every one of these dragon riders. When they approached the castle, Juri stopped her intense training and DIO left his contemplation.

"Let me handle it," Juri offered to the vampire. She glanced up to the sky which was awful sunny now and remembered what DIO had told her about vampires and the sun. Juri was worried about what would happen to him if the sun blared out. It would not do to have DIO get killed by the sun without training her in her Stand. She also needed to do this alone to show that it was just how soon it was since their fight that prevented her from fighting Forneas. "After Forneas, I feel... I need to prove myself to you again."

Forneus - The Skyscraper Overlooking Roanpur

After his humiliating defeat, Forneus went into the building he had landed on. He made his way down a flight of stairs to find another door, which was was locked up tight and was rudely blocking the Abyssal Lord's path. Annoyed, he impaled the door several times with water spears before it fell to the ground. Forneus had found himself in the office of whoever ran this building, it was a luxurious office filled with an assortment of things such as plants, chairs, expensive paintings, a coffee maker with 52 flavors, a mahogany desk and a leather chair. Eyeing around for someone Forneus saw a janitor, cowering in the corner as he had just witnessed about thirty spears impale a steel-bolted titanium grade door get shredded like it was nothing. Forneus' usual smile spread across his face as he made his way towards the hapless human, still frozen in fear. The janitor cowered in fear of the Abyssal Lord, his very presence was so menacing that it would make any normal human lock-up with fear. The green haired demon slowly put his arm around the female janitor, looking at her very pale face. His smile was gone and instead a look of confusion replaced it. Allies eh? He thought, DIO has allies because he values them, treasures them, never underestimates their ability so that they can see him as a friend! Well, it appears that this new skill from my enemy is a must and so I shall use it to its fullest extent. With that Forneus smiled a compassionate smile, this caught the woman off guard. She had no idea who this man was, much less his intentions. Would he assault her? Would he kill her? Would he make it so that she would become his next bride!? Of course, the Abyssal Lord had no plans for any of these things. But what he did have planned was something that the whole world and eventually this one would know.

The woman was so close to tears, what did this strange man want? Before she could muster a scream Forneus shushed her slyly and began talking in a voice as smooth as a flowing river, "There is no need for that my child. I am not here to harm you nor am I here to harm anyone else." Is this how you do it? Forneus thought, It's actually quite fun! No wonder DIO does it, but I don't think she's calmed down just yet. He was right, the janitor still had a look of fear and confusion in her eyes.

He continued, "I am Forneus, Master of the Ocean's Grace. I am what you would call a missionary to this world, devoted and just." Now she was calming down, he could see her scared scowl slowly begin to fade. "I apologize about the door, I could not find any other way to open it. It appears I may have scared you and for that I apologize once again, you must work so hard day in and day out in order to maintain this room do you not?" The woman nodded, she did this work all day for her crooked boss! Cooking, cleaning, sorting and even favors that were so foul that she could not utter them.

Forneus smiled calmly, "Ahah. I thought so- wait, what is this?!" Forneus noticed that on the woman's right cheek there was a deep gash in the upper section, probably caused by his intrusion. "Ah! I'm dreadfully sorry about this but could you please stick out your cheek a little?" The woman backed away, she still didn't trust him enough for him to do that.

Forneus, realizing that he had probably scared her again did the only thing he thought his fellow lord Byunei would have done, swear on her honor. "I swear as Master of the Ocean, I will not harm you. Life is as precious to me as it is to you. I would never harm such an innocent girl." The woman slowly etched towards him, still wary about this... she didn't know what he was, but it certainly wasn't human.

Forneus then placed his hand on her gash, trying to remain as collected as possible. It was hard for him, especially since he hadn't done this before. Byunei, the Abyssal Lord of Wind had always a flirtatious and somewhat compassionate side to her. She was the one who always kept animals in her company in her den and more often than not befriended every monster that dared to walk into her domain. Forneus began to heal her open wound, slowly smooth water magic began to pour into her washing her wound from the inside and making the excess puss flow outward. It was like the rain washing away the mud on giant hills. After two and a half minutes, her wound was completely gone and her interest piqued, "Who... Who are you exactly? Some sort of healer?" She asked Forneus as she got up, a bit less shaken.

"A missionary of sorts. That is my job and that is why I am here." Forneus said smiling, "Of course there are some things that I would also like to tell you. But you don't have to if you do not wish to, forgive me for being rude."

"N-no you weren't being rude at all, look can we just sit down and talk? I'm still trying to figure out who you are?" The woman said, sitting down on an E-Z Chair in the back of the room.

Forneus joined her and began to smile some more, "I would be glad to, and do not worry- we have all the time in the world to do so my dear." Forneus knew she was still pretty scared, but at the same time he thought he was doing well and eventually he would get to her.

Attacked Village

As things were getting rather frantic in the melee and swerved towards the side of the newly introduced would-be heroes, the mohawked raiders' dim brains found that yes, they were the ones being routed and getting the literal stuffing beaten out of them in some cases. Instead of retreating though, the idiots simply grew angrier and continued to try to mob everyone with muscles and violence- something that only served to send them through the metaphorical meat grinder as the majority of their numbers became either taken down or outright killed. Ranma found himself a bit uneasy that there was so much death going on, but swallowed his distaste and focused on the fight. He simply broke bones and gave concussions, unable to truly step into the threshold of actually taking lives for the moment.

That was a large bellow emanated out from what looked like the granary, like a bull was roaring through a megaphone. The sturdy wooden doors were smashed outwards with such force that they even smashed their way through two mooks and a couple of trees, propelled by a booted foot that seemed to be two sizes up from the size a regular man could achieve naturally. Stepping out from the depths of the grain stores was professional wrestler Hulk Hogan a giant blond man with dark skin and a rather eye catching mullet and mustache chops combo along with a cross-like tattoo emblazoned upon his dark skinned forehead. The guy was also inordinately big and broad, looking more buff than the bull he sounded like. "I step out for just a few moments and you pieces of trash are getting your keisters kicked about by women and children!"

Ranma goggled at the giant man for a moment, finding him alarming in several ways as the giant guy was performing theatrical movements like waving his arms to a silent audience and flexing his pecs all the while upbraiding his by this point rather out of it subordinates. "Alright, so you all messed with the rest. But now can ya handle the best?!" Ripping off his shirt simply by flexing, the literal giant then beckoned them forward while looming ominously in the background. "I fear no man, no beast or evil, brother! Well let me tell you, brother!" His theatrics got even more offputting as an aura of palpable power emanated from him, showing that he wasn't tooting his own horn. "Watcha gonna do when Baskamania gets ya?!"

Thus roaring this out, the dark giant threw himself off the ground and somehow spun in such a way that he was like a bullet tearing through space with the keen sound of the very air itself being sliced. Hurried jumping out of the man's range, Ranma saw the guy actually tunneling through the thick trunks of the surrounding woods finally stopping, the man's arm outstretched and supporting him off the ground in a 45 degree angle. The trees he passed through seemed to have a hole bored through them like they were drilled with excavation equipment, and fine sawdust could be seen drifting through his giant hand as the now named Bask stood up with a manic gleam in his eyes. "So this is the power of Gourmet Cells... My martial arts, they've reached a new level... I just have to eat and eat and I'll grow stronger..." Grunting with desire, Bask hulked out and took a running start towards the Players, this time dragging the very tree he had bored into like it was a baseball bat and swinging it at them with such fervor that the very air pressure blew all leaves in the surrounding ten meters away in a minor dust storm, the raider's muscles bulging like squirming snakes from the exertion.

Kino

Lower the Cannon, having blown apart the head of yet another of the marauding men, Kino was quick to take in the sight of the enormous man who emerged from the fields. He very quickly proved himself to be an enemy, just as all the other men. However, before she could fire, he suddenly seemed to tear through trees like butter, and now held up a tree trunk as a bludgeon. Kino had seen many things in her travels, and since being taken here, but this still was a surprise to her. Needless to say, the dark-haired girl was unsure of what to be prepared for and quickly darted back, away from the swinging tree trunk, leveling her pistol at the giant man.

Her goal was to watch him for an opening, take aim, and fire. It was simple, and indeed, would simply take focus and keeping on her feet. Of course, she had to keep an eye on the others as well... They had to avoid his attacks too.

Sakura Kyouko

Upon arriving, there was really only one thing the redheaded magical girl could do.

The moment she caught sight of the huge man with the tree in hand, she leapt into the air. She sailed through the sky, and then descended towards the ground, the blade of her lance flashing through the air as she fell. There was a cruching sound, a noise calling out as she cut clear through the trunk of the tree that the huge man was brandishing. She landed on the other side as the half she'd sliced free went tumbling across the ground, twirling her spear and resting it on her shoulder as she looked back at him.

"You some kinda steroid freak?" Kyouko asked, looking the bulging man up and down with a sidelong stare, "Ah, whatever, you're gonna be a mess of bloody smears soon!"

Tailred - Attacked VIllage

The train pulled to a stop at their destination and Tailred was off, joining the others in rushing forward as she surveyed the scene. There were a lot of people here already, helping to fight and dealing with the thugs and criminals that had been terrorizing the people. But some help couldn't hurt, right? Certainly that seemed to be the view of her companions.

So with a cry she joined the fight, twintails flying in the air as she went on the attack. A devastating kick would send a mook flying, her refraining from using her sword at the moment. These weren't Ultimagil after all, so that might be a bit excessive. As it stood she had the feeling that she could handle it anyway. Certainly no one else seemed like they were having trouble here.

She went to it with a fury, high powered kicks and punches throwing villains into ground smashing craters. Not as impressive as the Ultimagil, admittedly, but she doubted that she would have another opportunity like that. For now it was time to show these people what twintail power could do.

Garie - Other Attacked Village

It was a quick boat ride over, and soon enough Garie found herself in some quaint medieval village. It was pathetic really, since they seemed to have the run of the place for the moment. Why did any of this matter to anyone who actually cared? It wasn't as though they were putting up a significant fight, beyond some off in the distance, and not near her.

Still, now that she was here she might as well help out. It might spur out some opponents that would be worth her time and effort to beat. And as far as she was concerned, that would be good enough. Those gangs couldn't expect any better from her.

Of course, she wouldn't do it herself. Instead, she reached into a pocket to produce several blueish crystals, with glowing red dots in the center of them. "Time to have some fun," she said to herself as she tossed them, the crystals landing all around. On contact with the ground they would shatter, dissipating into nothingness. A second or so later red sigils would form, magical circles made in gathered hexes on the ground. From them a multitude of colorful creatures would appear, all of them at her beck and call. They were alca-Noise, specially created by Carol, their white weapons capable of destroying anything, eventually, even if they lacked the usual Noise resistance to everything that wasn't a Gear.

With a wave she would send them forth, a relentless horde that began to lash out and destroy everything in their path. Meanwhile, she moved off to the side and waited, a grin poised across her features at the same time. She was looking forward to seeing what responded to the bait.
