The Twins had stood at attention after Edward acknowledged them with his nod.

As they listened and even looked at the scroll, both knew that this man indeed had given some serious thought on this dangerous matter. He definetly wasn't some random buffon on some mad quest. He turly seemed to have a plan. Wether this plan worked or not though remainded to be seen. But to do so, both had to he ready to put their lives on the line. Nothing new for them. Only difference was that they were challenging Kaaos himself and not a bunch of random brigands, bandits and mercenaries.

And when the djinn with the white mask entered the room, Rutilus noted how Indigo had..."difficulty" keeping his resolve in check as she spoke to Edward.

More importantly, when they were presented with the question of whether or not to join, both looked at each other for a moment...then looked at Edward.

"...we accept...this quest...", both said at the same time.

@Ariamis

For a moment, the djinn looked between all the other rebels to-be, and though she might've had a million judgements passed onto them in her mind, she nods, and looks at Mirage before looking back at Edward. Somewhere along the line, she was hoping for the opposite answer, but there would be many more customers open with unity. Once this war passes, her family still needed to have that trade to fall back on.

"Will you need our company now, or do you have another task in mind?"

Sark sat there for a moment, in silence as the others around him spoke. he was looking at Edward, this definitely wasn't just some random pastime, it would bring risks, many of them. and in the end it could still be a very elaborate trap. but he had gotten this far, and in the end, the prospect of freeing the lands of Kaoos was worth the dangers they'd inevitably face. So Sark took a quick look around the room, at the faces of he people who were in the room alongside him, and then looked at Edward.

"I am honored to accept, and would be interested in knowing more of what shall be done now, although you seem to be needed somewhere else."

As he said that he took a quick glance at Mirage and back to Edward, before going back to being silent.

The response was silent, but one by one the group subtly nodded in agreement. Edward smiled, and asked Mirage to add their names to the list of recruits. The djinns, true to their nature, were the first to indulge in their desire for knowledge, and to them Edward answered:

"I first thought of sending you on a couple of local errands on behalf of EFM like intelligence gathering and peacekeeping, but I now realize that I need able men to join me on my way to the capital; your skills would be squandered by staying here."

Mirage's expression couldn't be seen, but she tilted her head as a djinn custom showing confusion. "Sir, maybe it is too hasty to-"

"Nonsense, Mirage. It is of the utmost importance that they see the gravity of the situation. You will stay here and keep the local cell running in my absence."

Mirage nodded, and disappeared into the shadows. Edward then took his seat once more, and began writing some scrolls.

"We will leave from the main gate at sunrise. Prepare yourselves, for it will be a week's journey to the capital. Also, a warning: keep clear of any unnecessary conflict, and stay ever vigilant. The enemy has eyes and ears everywhere."

Eodwyn looked Oragnar once more, half expecting the wolf to answer. But he did not and neither did Eodwyn as a Djinn woman walked, or glided, into the room. Eodwyn nearly started drooling as she spoke, but his furry companion brought him back into reality.

Eodwyn turned his attention to the current subject on hand, everything seemed to fade from his vision. He sat there in what seemed complete darkness before he noticed a familiar face. His grandfather. He was smiling as he spoke, ”Come on you’ll be late. You know how your mother is when you are late for dinner.” He said as he grabbed Eodwyn’s hand brought him into his family’s old dining room. He saw something that he had not seen in a long time. Joy. Happiness. He joyfully took his seat at the table before he looked around once more, this time realizing this was fake. Just as he did the table he once sat at vanished and now all his family laid dead, his grandfather kneeling with the sword of his brother in the middle of his chest. He face contorted and shocked at what happened. “Don’t be late. You know how death is when your late.” He said once more before falling limp on the floor.

Eodwyn yet again was snapped back into reality as Edward finished his conversation with the djin, unknowingly nodding his head when asked if he were to join this little resistance. Well not like I was going to say no He thought as he turned his attention towards the two figures standing behind them. “Heh you two look an awful lot like those vigilantes who free towns and all.” He said chuckling before realizing that they were. “Well since we are going to be working with each other best introduce ourselves. I am Eodwyn and this is my wolf Oragnar. Pleasure to meet all of you. And I will see you all tomorrow. I need a drink or two.” He said, muttering the last sentence as he walked out of the room and back into the bar.

“A pint of your strongest drink please. Oh and a room if possible.” He told the barkeep before sitting at a nearby table and thinking of the adventure to come. I’ll finally have revenge on those two bastards, I will do what my family can no longer do. I will fight the Kaaos and this time……I will finish what my brother started.

"We understand. Though I wonder if any at the bar-", Indigo started.

"-noticed suspicious individuals coming back here", Rutilus finished.

Neither sibling left the room but Indigo then asked, "If you don't mind, both of us have questions regarding-"

"-your family history. If it's not too much trouble that is", Rutilus then finished.

Taking Edward's diverting his attention to writing on scrolls as a sign of dismissal, Sark rose from his seat, nodding to the others in the room before promptly leaving, going back to the bar. he ordered a drink and took a seat, deciding to take a break to himself, but today's events had left him a bit agitated, and in the end nothing much came from sitting down and thinking but a growing anxiousness for what would be to come tommorow.

Deciding it was a good idea to rest for the night and collect his thoughts, Sark paid for a room, and after finishing his drink, retired to it. letting his thoughts wander as he slowly drifted into sleep.

"This place gets plenty of suspicious individuals as customers," Edward said. "That's what makes it an ideal hideout."
Neither sibling left the room but Indigo then asked, "If you don't mind, both of us have questions regarding-"

"-your family history. If it's not too much trouble that is", Rutilus then finished.

"I'm too busy to engage in conversation any more. Ask me again later while we're on the road." With that said, he returned to his scrolls, and the twins left him to rest for the night.

A rooster cried out at the first signs of dawn as the people of Myrskyburg started going about their business, especially in the port and the main gate, which opened up once in a while to let trading caravans, farmers and other sorts to pass either in or out of the city. There was also a notice board, which held various requests, announcements, and most notably, wanted posters of criminals wanted dead or alive. A new poster was put in place by an officer of Kaaos; a rare sight in Myrskyburg, but it was not rare for officials to put up wanted posters, for enemies of the crown seemed to be springing up constantly.

As the members of the resistance arrived at the gate, they noticed that the officer left the area towards the location of the city. Edward himself was nowhere to be seen.

The siblings took notice of their surroundings and then went on high alert. For one, no one was around and the guard posted here wasn't around now. They saw him walking towards the city.

Now with their brown cloaks, their hands were on their sword hilts under their cloaks as both began looking around for anything else suspicious.

Khadila came trotting in on her two clogs, making tidy little rectangles in the slog until they became blurred by the collected sludge of the muddy road.

She slept contentedly, to say the least, with a human pillow. Perhaps wenches had their use.

Upon spotting the twins, she cast a bit of telekinesis and floated her way as though she were a swallow : fast and low-bearing, but silent all the same.

Eodwyn slowly lifted his head from the table he was at the previous night. He looked at the nearest window and realized that dawn had come. Eodwyn searched for Oragnar for a few minutes before realizing that he was laying at his feet.

"Oragnar get up we gotta meet Scarface today." He moaned as he nudged his companion slightly who in turn gave a slight yawn as the two proceeded to walk out of the inn.

AS both of them walked through the streets of the miserable town Eodwyn noticed something very very odd. An officer of Kaaos putting up a poster. This really wouldn't bother Eodwyn on a normal day, but today was no normal day. Eodwyn slowly placed his hand on his sword as he went ahead and looked at the poster.
