Gideon, of course he would be called. There was a man who only knew fighting and was also his main competitor on the island. This was not to say that Oberon did not like him, in fact he had quite the respect for the old man. He had grown up hearing about his many exploits and experience with, what many would call, unsuitable work. The only problem Oberon had with Gideon, was that he was an asshole but he suspected that it was in his nature from birth, no changing that about him. Oberon was cold, but at least he knew how to act civil.

Then Anara spoke, he stood tall recognizing that she was his superior, and listened intently to what she had to say. As she brought the map out Oberon walked over to the table to look at it, it old that was for sure. These other islands he had a vague sense about but the question did perplex him, why hadn't they been off the island? Was there a war? Perhaps others grew jealous of what they had and abandoned the island? Or perhaps there was just nothing out there in general. The only way he was going to find out, was by going.

Oberon liked the idea of exploration, perhaps he could name an island after himself so he spoke up, "We won't have an island if we don't do something. I think that is quite apparent, so I will be going." He looked at Anara, "I relinquish myself to you, Sergeant. May we find something out there."

Oberon took a few steps back and waited patiently for the next move.

If any sort of surprise crossed his mind, Gideon did well to conceal it. His face remained unchanged when Anara brought out the map. Truth be told, he'd heard about rumours about them more times than he'd cared for. Gideon tuned out of the conversation, as he did regularly, and looked around the room once more. The stone surrounding him once again provided him with a sense of security. Lysander's presence equaled the comfort the cavernous environment gave Gideon. Gideon could feel the childlike excitement that boiled inside Lysander during the act of tunneling. Gideon's eyes rested on each face in the room. Honestly, he hoped he made some of them a bit uneasy. He'd stare for a bit and move on to another in the room when he spotted Oberon. He was aware of the rivalry Oberon had formed in his mind, but Gideon honestly didn't think anybody compared to him. Possibly in a couple years, the Knight may have a shot. To Gideon, Oberon seemed more the "next generation" rather than an equal. It was at this thought that a word snapped his attention back to the meeting.

Kendrigan.

He hadn't heard about that place in a while. Regardless, the thought of leaving the island filled him with childlike excitement akin to that of Lysander's. Maybe it was part of the empathetic bond; maybe it was genuine. Either way, Gideon spoke for the first time since he arrived. His voice was low and rumbling with a hint of condescension.

Pete usually did not like being away from the twins for too long. It seemed that they got jealous if Jack stayed away too long. They never really had gotten the idea of sharing it seemed. So that meant Pete had to keep this meeting short and sweet. He needed to pack for the trip. He already had his sword but he would need to pack his books. The Twins needed their saddle and a few other things. He really could not just drop anything and leave. His father would have called this Pete's Call to Adventure. That was why he had to go. The drought had even affected the mountains since most of the food was imported from the grasslands. Also the drought had affected the mountain streams which affected the game which affected the dragons. So honestly Pete had to go. There also was the fact that a Two-headed dragon would be needed for something like this.

"I can't watch my home village starve to death so I am in. Course I have never left the island so this will be interesting." Pete said as he pulled out his leather journal and started to write in it. He was currently writing about the different riders. He figured he would need to know as much as he could.

Kaisen had expected a long journey. He really did, and he packed for one as well, Wisp’s saddlebags were filled to the brim with dry food and what water left from the stream in the woods. However, the thought of leaving Caerel had never crossed his mind, at least not until Anara finally mentioned it. He blinked owlishly at the woman, and for a brief moment, the mask of calmness fell off. Beside him, Wisp stiffened his posture suddenly rigid. He pressed the snout against his rider’s side and pushed forcefully, until Kaisen gave him a reassuring pat on the head. He bit back the remark already forming on the tip of his tongue and crossed his arms, opted to simply watch and listen for now.

There was a million ways this mission could go wrong. Anara wasn’t wrong, no one had left the island for almost a hundred years, and in his experience, everything happened for a reason. Even if you didn’t know what that reason was, tempting fate was never a good idea. But then again, she had a point. They were getting desperate. He was. His hometown was dying. After all, just a few moments ago, he had asked for a drastic measure.

Kaisen sighed, rubbing the crease between his brows with a finger, barely registered the presence of newcomers. He had already informed his mother of the trip, so she would expect him to be gone for a month or so. But he feared this little ‘trip’ of theirs would last any less than a few months. This wasn’t another random hunt. As his thoughts waged their civil war, Kaisen stood and walked to take a closer look at the map. The foreign islands didn’t look too far away on the faded parchment, but he had looked at enough maps to know that wouldn’t be the case in real life. Kaisen was doubtful for good reasons, but then, he also couldn’t deny the spark of curiosity at the pit of his stomach. Through the bond, he could feel that Wisp was hopeful as well. The dragon was probably looking forward to soaring above the waves; he knew how his companion loved to fly.

After everyone had said their piece, Kaisen finally looked up from the map, his blue eyes unreadable –“That is asking a lot, Miss Keltor.”- He paused slightly, as if contemplating. –“But yeah, doesn’t look like we’re doing much good sitting around. Might as well do something while there’s still time, right? I’m in.”

Rolf scanned the map lustily, his eyes moving quickly back and forth across it, trying to memorize it. He watched the path that Sarge traced, and murmured to himself, "Hundreds of miles," stroking his beard thoughtfully with a smile.

Many had things to say, when Gideon spoke up, Rolf waved a hand at him, "My sentiments. You asked us to pack for a journey, so I am packed. You asked us to come to the meeting, so I came. You ask us to go, and I will go."

As Conner looked at his once beautiful and prosperous farmland, he sighed. It was nothing more than a barren wasteland with patches of dry plants. After a few minutes, Conner moved on to see his dragon partner Axis. Conner knew there was no point in doing nothing, so he had to keep himself busy somehow. Going over to a nearby shed, he found Axis sleeping idly. "Hey there, time to wake up," Conner said, gently placing his hand on Axis' snout and attempting to shake him awake. Axis' opened his eyes and raised his head lazily, turning to look at Conner. "I know, you like to sleep in a bit, but we've got things to do. If we don't hurry, we're gonna be late," Conner said. Axis then got up and followed Conner out of the shed.

Conner had gathered what little supplies and coin he had left into his bags; it would have to make do for now. Gathering them up and getting everything prepared for a journey, Conner got onto Axis and said, "Let's go, we've got a meeting to go to." Conner had received the summons message only recently, and wasn't sure if they would make it in time. Judging from the position of the sun, though, chances are they would. Axis took off, and together they headed off to the meeting point.

Conner hurried inside as fast as he could, knowing he was most likely late to the meeting. It wasn't that long since sunrise, though, so chances are he might not have missed anything important. Making a sudden appearance, he took a short moment to assess the situation. Seeing a crowd of people already inside, including a councilor, Conner assumed the worst. "Apologies for arriving late," Conner said, knowing there was no excuse for it. "How much of this meeting have I missed?"

Internally, Keltor breathed a sigh of relief. If half of them had thrown up their arms and stalked out of the room upon hearing her plan, it wasn't like there were legions of backups. She might well need every single one of them. Externally, though, her only response to the unanimous agreement was a sharp nod and to roll the map back up.

"Excellent," she said, and there was a definite undertone of relief. "You all have one hour to prepare and notify who you will. When that hour is up...anyone who has not reconsidered their decision should meet me on the northernmost tip of Ambrell Ridge. Pack lightly, but well. I don't know when we'll be returning."

Anara tapped the tabletop idly, doing some quick calculations. "With the dry winds, it's two day's fly to Kendrigan," she began, eyes narrowing at nothing as she reviewed the plan she'd long ago concocted. "There are scatterings of tiny islands between here and there, little more than rocks with a few trees here and there. We'll rest every twelve hours—I don't know what we'll face when we reach Kendrigan, so I'd prefer the dragons well-rested. I'd suggest feeding before we go—"

Her lips twitched as she caught a very insistent agreement with that 'suggestion' from Inirath, but she suppressed the smile and continued on. "—both yourselves and your partners." Anara straightened, maps once again tucked under her arm. She re-counted the group automatically and her mouth twisted slightly to the side as she realized another one from the list had arrived. "Someone summarize for Flynn. Say goodbye to those who'll miss you. Anyone with further questions may follow me. Dismissed."

With that, she turned and left the room without another word, half of her mind on the faces and personalities of the riders she was going to have to depend on, the other half entirely focused on the languid stretch of Inirath as the dragon's excitement banished the last of her sleepiness and she spoke directly to her rider.

This is going to be fun.

He looked around, socialization would have to come later. Oberon then left the chamber, took Sicarus and found him some food. "You need to keep up your strength bud, we have a long trip ahead of us. One that I believe will be both mentally and physically exhausting, but an adventure nonetheless." Oberon said as he watched his dragon devour a couple sheep. He had no one to notify, his kin were gone from this world, so the next step was preparing. He bought a knapsack and some supplies he deemed worthy for such a task as this; a water sack, meat and cheese, a torch and a wetstone. Not a lot, but he would make do.

After this was done and Sicarus had his fill, Oberon flew to Ambrell Ridge. The short journey was uneventful but the countryside was the only thing of interest along the way. It was the same, decay was everywhere but the thought of finding a cure for this, only strengthened his resolve to go on this journey.

Upon flying over Ambrell Ridge, it only broadened his perspective. This place was just sand, no greens, no water. Could this be Caerel's future? It was daunting, they needed to find something to help because he couldn't think of what would happen if they didn't.

He finally reached the destination that Sergeant Keltor had told them to meet at. It was like a giant breath before the plunge, into uncertainty.

Magnus got up as the commander and another dragon rider made their way out, and a new one rushed in very late. "Well, I guess I'll be seeing you all in an hour. Maybe we can all talk on the way there." Magnus said, Light putting her tail through the window for Magnus to grab onto, Magnus climbing onto her back with her help. With a nod from Magnus, Light took off to the village at the edge of the forest which occasionally gave Light livestock.

"Finally we can see stuff beyond this island." Light said as they flew towards the village. They landed a few moments later near the outskirts farm. While not sure of what other riders did, Magnus very rarely asked for his allotment of farm animals for Light, as she hunted fish off the coast while he was doing experiments. Light was very annoyed at how most dragons from dragonrider pairs often took the tithe animals so casually. She felt that it dulled the senses and made the other dragons lazy, but she'd never say it to their face unless they were extremely lazy with no redeeming factors.

As Light thought about what she wanted, Magnus knocked on the door of the livestock owner. It took a moment before he came to the door, Magnus greeting him. "Hello John. Apparently Light and I are going to be away for awhile, and we don't have much time to prepare. So I've sadly got to call in a tithe payment." Magnus said, waiting for Light as John sighed. It wasn't common for Magnus to visit, so unlike the other farmers of Carael, John often had extra livestock to sell for his own ends.

Light, finding a few animals she was interested, made her way over. "From the looks of things, shes interested in a couple cows over there." Magnus said. A few graphic scenes later, and they were both off, Magnus leaving behind a medicine bottle as payment so Light didn't feel too bad. They made their way to Ambrell Ridge after making a quick stop at their house so Magnus could load up on fire pots, explosives, and whatever he didn't bring the first time, much to Light's annoyance at having to carry even more saddlebags. They were the third to arrive at the Ridge, waiting for everyone else to arrive.

*Cabhan chuckles and stands heading over to Flynn, Sapphire trotting up to start his snuffling of the newcomer. With a small smile he remove a glove then, holds out his hand to Flynn* "Hello, I am Cabhan and the blue dragon sniffing you is Sapphire." *He seems extremely friendly, to the point where he would be willing to talk to anyone. No matter what they look like, or how terrifying they are supposed to be. Not to be mistaken for fearlessness, this is simply respect mixed with curiosity.*

Conner smiled and returned the handshake, saying, "Pleasure. My name's Conner Flynn." Others were beginning to move on from the meeting and get ready for whatever journey was now in store for everyone, but at least someone stayed for a bit to help him out. "My partner Axis is just outside. He's an Angelwing," Conner explained. "Now then, what have I missed while I wasn't here?" Conner asked Cabhan. He didn't want to feel left out and stay uninformed while everyone else was leaving. Now that he thought of it, it would probably be good to talk to the councilor after this, too.

*Cabhan nods and taps his chin thinking of how to summarize without confusing Conner.* "The extremely shortened down version is that we are going on a journey to other islands to try to get help. To figure out how to fix this nasty dry spell we have been having." *He tilts his head and put his hand on Sapphire's nose, which seems to quiet down the dragon.* "It is probably going to be a long journey, but it is unsure of just how long the journey will be." *He gently pats Sapphire's nose and crosses his arms, pretty certain that he covered everything. Sapphire gives a small chirp, causing for a small smile from Cabhan.* "I think i covered everything, but i can try to answer any questions you have" *As he speaks he replaces his glove on his hand.*

Gideon wordlessly walked out and went over in his head what he had to do before meeting with the rest. He thought about the group Keltor had summoned but pushed his slight worries to the back of his mind. If Keltor wants them, I'm in no position to judge their worth. Lysander waited for him as he exited the mountain. Gideon positioned himself atop his dragon and whistled in a familiar pitch. After bringing his head closer to his dragon, Lysander projected a clear shell around Gideon and proceeded to tunnel to their destination.

Once their belongings were gathered and Lysander's belly was full, the pair headed to the rendezvous point. The continued to tunnel with the protective shell around Gideon, only stopping when Lysander felt that his friend needed air. Saddle bags flopped to the sides of Lysander as they neared the cliff point. A backrest grew out of Lysander to support Gideon as he began to climb, near vertically, towards the north tip of Ambrell Ridge. Gideon casually took sips out of his waterskin, comforted by the fact that he dedicated a whole bag to extra full waterskins. The others held pieces of his armor and rations for the trip. Lysander rounded the top to see a few of the others already there. Gideon's acknowledging gaze scanned through everyone and he sat back and waited.

"Caitra?"

A quiet voice seemed to ring out in the Draketooth archives. The simultaneous tap on Caitra Sayl's shoulder startled her more than the use of her name. She jumped in her seat and looked up to find one of the elder archivists standing at her desk. She hurriedly got to her feet and sketched a quick bow in his direction.

"Archivist Ohmali. I'm sorry, you startled me. What can I do for you?"

"I think it is more what I can do for you, young one. You've been searching the archives for information on the drought for so long now. I happened to overhear a little something you may be interested in."

"I would be happy to learn of anything you may have found." Perhaps the archivists had turned something up in their own records, or a detail Caitra had missed.

"Anara Keltor is assembling a team to travel outside of Caerel." Caitra raised her eyebrows at this. "I know, it's an unusual approach. Dragonriders haven't left Caerel in a very long time. But perhaps unusual is what we need right now."

Caitra cut to the chase. "Where is she now, sir? I would request that I join her."

The archivist just smiled. "I thought you might. I only heard part of the conversation as I passed by, but there was a mention of 'the northernmost tip of Ambrell Ridge.' If you wish to meet Anara, you had best start there."

"Thank you, sir. Neva and I will go as soon as I am ready and able."

Ambrell Ridge... there was a region Caitra and Neva had only visited once in their three years of travel. Thankfully, the latter had gone hunting not an hour earlier, so she was content to fly. Caitra had packed only a couple of bags: one on her back for personal items, and two attached to Neva's harness, devoted primarily to water and non-perishable food.

Taking her staff in both hands, Caitra vaulted up to stand on Neva's back with practiced ease. And no sooner had she found her footing than Neva took off, flying northeast to the location Archivist Ohmali had described. Caitra hadn't found Sergeant Keltor in the short time she had given herself to prepare, so she was already planning out what she would say as her request to join the team she had put together.

"Travelling outside of Caerel... and with a purpose. That's what we needed. A goal to work towards." The commentary was aimed less at Neva and more at herself. The archives hadn't turned anything up, but Ohmali's suggestion may have given Caitra the starting point she needed. So she leaned forward in her pose a little, staff tucked behind the small of her back, and lightly prodded Neva to pick up the pace. The frostbite sped forward in the sky, carrying them both into the unknown.

Any other day, Quincy would've either been holed up in his residence, waiting for his next assignment to pop up, or somewhere in the waters of Caerel, fishing for a snack. Instead, he decided to check up on his parents, who've which got him right to work at some chores. As soon as he entered the cozy little homestead, his mother confiscated her son's sack, and had him sorting out and tidying notes.

"You should visit more, she says! We miss you, she says!" He mumbled, collecting a series of illustrated scrolls. His father, overhearing the grumbling, assisted in the work. "Don't blame us, you could've just picked a better day to come in." Quincy grumbled some more.

"Didn't you say you had some sort of meeting today? Something important?" His father added. Quincy paused in reply. "Yeah, but I just came from that like, not too long ago..." He had a feeling he might've been wrong with the time. They were supposed to meet up somewhere else, right? Quincy's father gave him a look that only made him question his choices even more. He got a good look at the sun as he bolted to the front door. The sun was only beginning to rise. "Shit! Ambridge Ridge!" He was indeed wrong about the time. "Maaaaaahhm!" He called out, running back inside. "I need my stuff, i'm gonna be late-!" She met him head on, almost being bowled over in the process.

"Here. I've lined the inside with waterproof fabric. Keep the sack closed tight enough, and your belongings should stay dry when you go swimming with Alejandra." She explained with a smile. A little surprised, Quincy wasn't expecting such a modification to be implemented so quickly. Either way, he wasn't complaining. "Thanks, Momma." Placing his spears in their designated holsters, he gave his mother a quick peck before sprinting down to the beach. He let out a shrill whistle as he neared the water. "Allie!" With a simple, frantic call, a majestic beast stretched out of the sea, arcing back in a loud, shrill call. Quincy wasn't impressed.

"Who're you showing off for? C'mon Allie, we need to go." He rid himself of the loose clothing hanging from him, stuffing the articles into his sack. As the Sea Drake lowered back into the wake, Quincy dived in after her. "Hey, you remember we had to congregate in the desert, right? Sarge said? That was today, right?" He asked, mounting the dragon. She let out a few snappy trills in reply. "Well, why didn't you remind me? C'mon, we gotta get out to Ambridge Ridge...alllllll the way on the other side of Caerel...the highest point, no less." Allie agreed with the complaining tone, snapping in return. "Tell me about it. No respect for the Sea Drakes." With that, Alejandra dove, speeding towards their destination.

As a rider of a mighty sea serpent, initial training consisted almost entirely of learning the rivers, streams, ponds, and swamps of Caerel. Doubly so if they led back to the oceans. Unfortunately for the two, there weren't any rivers that cut completely through the island, and especially none that led to Ambridge Ridge. So, they'd have to take the long way around.

Took a while, but eventually the two reached the dusty shores of the Ridge. In the grand scheme of things, such a quick trek would be nothing compared to the journey Anara had planned. The dragon and rider slowly breached, striding up the sand. Quincy sighed as he looked over the plain, sandy landscape. It wasn't much to look at, but the being one of the drier portions of the island, it wouldn't take much for him to dry up. Alejandra followed him out of the water. Her legs may've been smaller than most dragons, but they were still strong enough for her to walk on land with no hindrances. Curiosity overtaking her, Allie's eyes darted about the place, looking for peculiar things to sniff and poke.

"Guess we weren't meeting on the beach..." He motioned towards his dragon, and the two began travelling inward. He remembered the mention of congregation at the tallest point of the area, much to his dismay. Telling noises cut across the quiet landscape, the distant cries of dragons giving the boy a rough idea of where they were meeting up. He began off in a trot, figuring he'd dress himself once he had a chance to meet with the others.

Anara's fingers obsessively checked and rechecked the buckles and knots on the riding straps, smoothing down the many leather bags strapped to Inirath's massive haunches. As the biggest of the dragons on this journey, she'd be carrying the most, and although the silver beast grumbled over being used as a beast of burden, the grinding noise of her claws restlessly kneading the ground filled the cave. Inirath had fed well and was just as ready to go and do something as her rider.

"Alright," Keltor eventually said decisively. "Enough." Inirath stilled immediately and helpfully crooked a leg into a kind of ramp, allowing Anara to quickly vault her way to the thunder dragon's shoulder. She settled in between two ridges, clipping a few safety straps to her belt, and good thing too—with barely a split second of warning, Inirath charged from a standing start for the cavern's opening onto the mountainside.

They broke into the cold dawn air—to Anara's mind, more bracing than any caffeine. Inirath waited until the last possible moment to snap her wings open, and even the stoic Sergeant couldn't quite keep the grin from her face as they soared parallel to the rising sun. If it had been even an hour later, their passing would have made quite the stir—people tended to look up when a shadow that big passed by. Today, though, hardly anyone was even awake. It made for a welcome change.

Ambrell Ridge loomed ahead of them, nowhere near the side of Draketooth Mountain but still an impressive sight. Inirath banked around the dusty spines, startling a dozing whiptail as they flew overhead. They bypassed the Ridge itself and headed for one of the foothills, one with a convenient view of the sea in the direction they'd be heading. With a quick command, Inirath backwinged to land on the sandy rock with enough force to send a shudder through the ground.

"Stop showing off," Anara muttered, but got only a haughty look in response. Sighing to herself, she nudged Inirath with her toes until the dragon maneuvered so she could see all the assembled riders.

"Good to see that no one changed their minds," she called, not bothering with any formalities. They knew how important—and how dangerous—this was. She wouldn't patronize them. "It's a straight shot from here to the first stop. Ten hours of flying. If your dragon gets tired, let them swim for a bit instead. I trust you'll respect your dragon's wishes if not mine."

Tightening her grip on the straps, she stood in the stirrups, twisting to survey the horizon with a hand held to shade her gaze from the sun.

"If no one has any last words...let's get in the air. Caerel doesn't have time to waste."

*Cabhan nods to Flynn then heads out. His destination being a fellow flit whit rider so that he could have a letter sent to his parents. When he reaches them, he smiles and hands them the letter and some coin. With that done, he settles into Sapphire's back and launches back to his home.* You seem quiet *Cabhan gives a smile* "I am thinking of the journey, and what you can carry" *Once they reach their destination, Sapphire lands and follows Cabhan to the stables. There, he grabs a medium sized bag that is rigged to fit on the side of the saddle and another one that fits to where it faces Cabhan when they fly. In one bag, he puts dried meats, dried fish, a water skin filled with fresh water, and a small skinning dagger. In the other bag, he puts arrow head making tools, arrows, a medium sized quiver, larger daggers, thread, needles, fish hooks, and a few spare clothes. With a satisfied nod, he puts the two bags into place. After making sure everything was in place, he swings back onto the saddle and they head toward the meeting place.*

*Now at the meeting point, Sapphire and Cabhan watch the arrival of Anara. Sapphire waves his tail and chirps excitedly. Cabana chuckles somewhat and rests a hand on Sapphire's neck, calming him.*

Rolf left the meeting hall in high spirits. The thought of this adventure had him ready and rearing. He thought Forge felt a little bit of it, because he felt a kind of emotional echo in the back of his mind. He had a letter ready for his father, had written it before going to the meeting. He didn't need to know the details, just as Rolf hadn't when he had written it. Rolf had the letter sent, and went down to the paddock where Forge slept.

His bags were ready, and the tailless whiptail was saddled and bagged in minutes, Rolf also geared up as if for battle. He had his light plates, and both his sword and basket hilted dirk. They were both sheathed on his left side, so that his sword could be drawn in his right hand, and the dagger in his left in a reverse grip.

Forge was used to carrying Rolf in full battle regalia for jousts, and this was nothing. So Rolf put his great helm on his head and mounted, first one foot into the stirrup and then swinging the other around. With a quick whistle, Forge jolted out into the air. Whiptails were fast, and Forge was a particularly speedy specimen. He could soar with the best of them, but his real speed came when close to the ground, half running and half gliding. This is how he flew to Ambrell Ridge, galloping, then jolting off of the ground to propel himself forward for a glide.

To get to the foothill where they were to meet, Rolf turned Forge upwards and together they vaulted upward to soar to the top of the foothill. He took the padded helm off and hung it on the saddle, unclipping his safety harness to dismount with the gathering group. He might have arrived first, but he and Forge had had a little too much fun gliding in the foothills and forests.

"Hail, riders!" he greeted in mock formality, spreading his arms in welcome. "Let's get going, then, yeah? Or do I have time for a drink?"

MAgnus looked around at the riders, some who were seen at the meeting, and some other new ones. "Well... Guess there were two meetings or something? Lots of new faces here." He said, Light keeping an eye on the newcomers. Soon after the arrival of the newcomers, Anara landed on top of her dragon, explaining the situation. "Ten hours? Thats not that bad." Light said, stretching out her wings.

"So... For all you newcomers. My name is Magnus, and I'll be your alchemist for your journey." Magnus said, pulling out a clear liquid vial, opening it up and letting the smell of the concoction waft around, waking everyone up.

"If no one has any last words...let's get in the air. Caerel doesn't have time to waste."

"I would quickly like to apologise that I did not attend the meeting, Sergeant Keltor," Caitra stated, looking to Anara as she spoke. "I must have missed the message; it is a rare occurrence. Thankfully, Archivist Ohmali informed me of where I should be to find you, so if I have your permission to join up at the last minute, there is no harm done."

Looking to the rest of the group that had assembled, she realised she didn't actually know any of them. "Ah. I suppose I should introduce myself. I am Caitra Sayl, of Shearpoint, and this is Neva." Neva looked up as the dragonrider spoke, a thin mist escaping her nostrils. Caitra felt the temperature shift slightly; she knew her dragon friend preferred colder climates. Hopefully flying just above the water's surface - probably about ten feet - would be enough to keep her cool.
