@ClocktowerEchos I'm probably going to use Mel Gibson as the basis for my character. Maybe a pinch of Arnold and Bruce Willice.

I can't decide whether I want to make the meddling, risk-hating producer I made last time, or an out-there auteur writer with a literary career but no Hollywood experience. Maybe both if multiple characters are allowed.

I want to be the director or just whatever

I'm thinking of being a no-nonsense, asshole producer who's not afraid to tell you what he thinks and is not afraid to take risks if need be. If he hates your shot, he'll tell you it's shit. If he thinks the casting is wrong, he'll tell you. Even if someone tells him that's he's too mean, he'll just reply "Go fuck yourself, we're making a film, not a basket of muffins." Although, if he likes something, he will tell you. If he knows that it can be improved, he'll tell you.

I'm basing him off famous producers like Roger Corman and Robert Evans who were famous for being quite aggressive in their approach. Roger Corman essentially taught famous director/writers like Francis Ford Coppola, Martin Scorsese, Ron Howard, Peter Bogdanovich, James Cameron and more.

Another idea I have is for a retired old Screenwriter who hasn't wrote a major hit since the early 80s. His reason for stopping would be the fact that his writing partner (And secret lover, he's going to be gay) died when he was shot outside a club in Hollywood. He comes out of retirement to write a screenplay for the director because *Insert reason here*. His personality would be quite timid and quiet. He'd also be very intimidated by the distinct change in film production since the early 80s.

I'll decide on which character when the OOC is up and when people have declared what roles that they're taking.

Any position for a very infuriating director whose hanging on every little detail because "art" and keeps complaining that "You're butchering the lines, 'my heart aches'? Well mine's breaking!
