Guerrilla Volunteers: The most numerous units in the DRA. They are moderately trained in stealth and guerrilla warfare tactics, given decent firearms and told to wreak havoc on the enemy's lines. These Guerrillas are dangerous not for their tactical abilities or their advanced weaponry, but for their absolute devotion to the cause. Fanaticism is the name of the game in the Doyism Revolutionary Army. It's not uncommon for volunteers to use suicide bombing tactics, bayonet charges, or fight to the death. Guerrillas are indoctrinated during their three-year training regime to do whatever is necessary to move forward the cause of the goddess. There are few forces on earth as devote as these men and women.
Standardized Infantry: The Standardized Infantry force of the DRA is considered more elite than the Guerrillas but more numerous than the Special Forces. Most of the active personnel are part of the Standard Infantry division. They receive an extra two years of specialized training, and generally have served at least a year and a half as a Guerrilla. Standardized Infantry are equipped with better weapons and tactical training than the Guerrillas, especially in the area of city defense. Every Standard Infantryman has the layout of Tornaga and Fort Sentria memorized to the letter. Once Standardized Infantry complete their training, they are given the option of continuing their training as an armored vehicle operator. Armor Vehicle Operations training lasts anywhere from 6 months to a year and a half, depending on the trainee's past experience and natural skill.
Special Forces Units: The elite of the elite. Soldiers must have at least ten years of experience in the Standardized Infantry or equivalent unit from another branch under their belt before they are allowed to even sign up. Taknul looks over each individual's resume personally, judging whether or not they make the cut. He only accepts the most devote, expert warriors into the training program. The SFU training program lasts roughly four years and contains some of the most mentally, emotionally and physically grueling activity that any man would ever be put through. Most sign ups don't make it past week two. The very few who do are given the highest honors and treated with respect similar to that of General Bloodkip. The Special Forces troops use only the most advanced technology available in the DRA and are nothing short of tactical geniuses.
Kynil Light Tank:The most produced tank in the DRA. Light, fast and maneuverable, the Kynil is one of the most effective open-area tanks of the time. It has the firepower to threaten larger tanks and the armor is light, but capable enough to go toe-to-toe with any other nation's own light tanks due to its revolutionary slop design.
