Really not a fan of Of Mice and Men at all...just can't listen to them, I am sad to say. 2/10

@gowia Didn't really blow me away but it wasn't terrible and I could see it growing on me. Guessing The Ramones was one of their musical influences? 5-6/10

5/10
I like the instrumentation and the vocals are listenable, but that annoying talking, 'story telling' with the strange british accent attempt really takes me out of the tune. Would have been a 7/10 if it wasn't in there.

@Dynamo Frokane Idk, it's a bit eccentric and quirky for my taste. Not the kind of jam I'd normally listen to but it's not that bad either. 5/10

@Lady Amalthea Don't take this the wrong way, but it's not really my thing. When I hear it the words "Pop Metal" come to mind and suddenly I'm picturing Avril Lavigne. I have nothing against female vocalists in metal, whether it be Kittie, Lacuna Coil, Flyleaf, iwrestledabearonce, etc, but this just kind of sounds like they got a pop singer and added her to a metal band. Radio-friendly Metal, basically and not what I'm really into. (That's not to say I don't see why it would appeal to others, it just doesn't appeal to me.) 3/10

@Hjalti Not bad, Not bad at all, I feel ive heard that synth in too many other songs though for this track to stand out to me, still a solid 6/10.

@Hjalti Not taking any of it wrong, we all have it tastes, mine went from Metallica pure to European Metal with the likes of Nightwish and Kamelot about 15+ years ago, I just find Amaranthe a nice change. Isn't everyone's cup of tea.

@Dynamo Frokane Lmao, okay, this is awesome. 7/10

Time to go a bit old school and corny

@Lady Amalthea 7/10

I loved the intro and how the instrumentals sounded, but once it got to the vocals, I got turned off a bit. It wasn't because of it being straight-up punk. I love punk. It was more that the transition was so random and abrupt. I don't know, maybe it is cause it's straight up punk and it's just not my flavor. In either case, I enjoyed the instrumentals, so that's why I gave it a 7.

Kind of on a DCFC binge right now. xD

@Lady Amalthea With all that said, I could see my wife enjoying them.

@Altered Tundra I usually have to be in a certain mood to listen to the more melodic stuff, but I could see myself listening to this on a long drive. 6/10.

@Hjalti 4/10 Not really into industrial music and anything alike, plus the vocals don't appeal to me.

At the least listen to the reprisal at the end if some rough voice singer isn't your thing.

Neat, but it was lacking a certain drift to catch my interest imo.

I should post on this damn thread more often. So here's a Neon Indian song.

@Mr Allen J 6/10

The beat was killer, but I wasn't all that high on the rest of it. Still, not a bad tune, I guess.

And, yes you should. :P

To say like anyone has heard this before somewhere would be a correct observation. The singer - while technically good - isn't memorable and the emo background chorus isn't spectacular or even ground breaking (even for a washed out genre).

So now back to our regularly scheduled Ireland
