You are a Black Lieutenant, 1 of the trusted advisers of an evil being known only as 'The Overlord'. Many years ago, The Overlord ruled the world with an iron fist. For most, life was a living hell. But for you, life was good. You kept The Overlord's brand of peace and in return, he rewarded you handsomely. Gold, glory, grog, anything you desired was provided for you. But 1 day, a group of whiny and troubled pubescent heroes threw you and your fellow Black Lieutenants from your positions of power 1 by 1 before finally overthrowing The Overlord himself. You and the other Lieutenants narrowly escaped death in your own ways and slunk into the shadows to await a chance to seize power and glory once again. The Overlord had granted you immortality, so you could wait. Today, you finally got that chance. You woke up hearing a familiar voice in your head. "Return to me" the voice commanded. You were unsure if you were truly hearing the voice of The Overlord or not, but you obeyed never the less. As you neared the ruined castle of your supposedly long dead master, you found that your fellow lieutenants were also alive and were also called there. As you approached the ruined castle, the large wooden doors opened up to reveal a ruined throne room. And there on the throne sat the skeleton of your old master, still in his armor and surrounded by the corpses of those that had tried to move him. "It has been too long, my trusted lieutenants" The Overlord said.
