Liz held her letter tightly. She was thrilled and scared about this opportunity. She had to steal money and run away from home to get here but she was here now. She looked at the huge building from the cab. She paid the cabbie the last of her money and climbed out of the car. She had nothing but the clothes she had on. She hoped this was the right place. She slowly started making her way up to the door.

Dusk would soon arrive after in a fancy car stepping out as another person gets out and starts getting out a lot of bags from back of the car siting it down next to dusk "thank you" he says to the person before they get back in and drove off. he lugged the back pack on his back and grabbed the handles of his two big cases that have wheels. pulling out the letter he had received and smiles some "things are going to change here" he states out loud to himself and starts heading towards the door. He had everything he couldn't go without.. in other words clothes, and his electronics.

Storm stepped off the bus, grinning. She had a backpack over her shoulder and a water bottle at her side. She walked towards the building, praying she was at the right place. She didn't want to be wrong and then get lost.

Willow grinned from ear to ear as she finished her walk. She was finally out of that God-awful house. She had a few sets of clothes, some books and a kindle with a charger in her bag. She was as prepared as she would ever be. She was nervous, but she was also excited as she walked towards her destination.

Miroku had just arrived where the letter said he should go. He just carried a backpack for his clothing and some handheld game consoles. He gripped his scarf which was knitted by the orphanage owner before he left for this place. He didn't need money to transport himself as he simply used his own two legs to get here. He has never been so glad to have the power. He truly wondered what they would do to him here and if there are others.

Considering the loads of people heading for the same place where he is headed to, he assumed that they were summoned here just like him. Well he could leave the introductions for later so he continued walking on a normal place which he truly considered to be slow. But that's just him and he doesn't mind going slow every once in a while and this was normal for everyone else. Well, he just hoped that he can continue to be abnormal so he could help other people and do his chores faster.

Jinx arrived in front of the building that the letter he received described. He rode there on his metallic bike that he made from two bike tires and his metal manipulative abilities. Getting off of the bike the metal present vanished and the so called bike reverted into two bike wheels. Grabbing his backpack that looked way too large for someone with Jinx's fragile body structure to be carrying headed to the door. He looked around admiring the odd structure that he'll be presiding in for an unpredictable amount of time. Jinx walked wearing an uncomfortable smile on his face reaching the door. He stood smiling at the closed door like a lifeless object that could smie. Knowing he would possibly get in the way of others he attempted to stay out of the way and continue to stare blankly at the door.

The limousine she rode in was rather elegant, yet...it also felt rather foreboding, black, dark as Death's tattered robes. The obsidian sheen of the vehicle shined amidst the light of the early morning sun cresting over the hills with a gilded shimmer and bathing any and all in its soothing warmth as it rose to signal the beginning of yet another day. The girl, who sat quietly and entranced in thought, her katana, sheathed in a polished black saya, resting across her lap, she sighed a tad bothersome closing her blood red eyes for a moment, then opening them again.

"This is our stop." The man who was sitting beside her said shattering the demure silence. Sure enough, as the lovely scenery had fleeted away, the building came into view, such an illustrious academy it was....and yet...she had no reason why she was here. Only the masked man seated next to her knew. Not long, the limousine came to a halt. The driver stepped out first and opened the door for the two.....and then....into the beaming light of the sun she emerged, garbed in but a simple black and red seifuku with shoes and socks to match. "Remember what I told you, Kurohime."

Kurohime, slowly she turned to face the taller man, looming over her like a dark cloud, his voice hoarse...and oh so grim... "Do not grow attached to anyone. You are here to learn, and that is all. The fate of the world is not our concern. If we hear different...there will be consequences."

"Yes....master..." She whispered in reply, tightening her grip on her sword. "I will not disappoint you..."

The white haired man gave a curt nod and back into the limo he went, driving away and leaving the girl known as Kurohime to her own device. With yet another sigh, she turned on her heels and stared up at the massive structure, noting of the others who had arrived so shortly. Not a word she spoke to them, nor a glance given, as silently she tarried towards the entrance with her head held down.

"Uh."

Hana Kiyomizu arrived in front of the building, her eyes darting, checking out her surroundings. A sigh escaped her mouth as she clutched tightly on her letter, she was already feeling a bit homesick. She took one big step forward noticing the group of people in front of her, variety of ages. She looked down her shoes, wondering if they were pretty enough of a good impression she didn't want to look bad on the first day there, especially with all these people. Hana stroked her pink curly hair, that bounced off her shoulder with every step she took. She tilted her flower crown, making it crooked as possible, believing it looked nice like that.
As she was closer to the crowd she settled her backpack down as it started to hurt her back. Hana was wondering if these people arrived because of the same reason as she did. Waiting for the door to open, or everyone to gather around, she started observing each one, finding out the ones she'd be fine with and the ones she wouldnt be.

It took a few days, flying as an eagle, stowaway on a ship, turning into a mouse to not be noticed, jumping into the ocean and swimming across the atlantic as a whale until reaching land and hiked his way towards the destination, becoming a dog in order to track down a weird smell that was different from other humans. Following that scent, he arrived at the building, shifting back into human, sporting a cloak. He looked around first at a few who just walked in and followed them to make sure he found the right place, with a serious expression.

A tall white haired man came to the door. He smiled at the kids gathered there. "Hello children. Welcome to your new lives. You will all be given rooms. The rooms contain a double bed, a nightstand, a dresser, a computer desk with a computer, and a TV. You all have been given one pillow, one sheet, and one blanket. In the dresser and closet you will find clothing in your size. These are my gift to you. If you want anything else you will have to earn it. There will be plenty of opportunities to earn whatever you can imagine. Please take a few minutes to find your rooms and drop off whatever bags you have.

'Oh? So we train and get more powerful so we can get more luxury? Well at least I have being more powerful and controlling this power better as a goal because luxury doesn't affect me at all.' Miroku thought to himself before looking around at the other people in there. Oh man, a lot of them were older than him. Well at least he was faster or else he might have a little trouble. Even if he did carry the Dragon Zodiac, older people are people he should still respect.

And after the man stopped speaking, Miroku immediately jumped to action. Utilizing his power, he found his room in less than a minute. He opened the door and dropped off his bag. He then inspected everything. Provided clothes, check. Pillow, check. Blanket, check. Sheet, check. The red haired boy nodded to himself before he started arranging his stuff. He placed the clothing he brought inside the closet and then placed the gadgets in one of the drawers and kept his phone and another gadget inside his vest. Not that it will slow him down or anything.

He then sped back to the gathering people to see if they were out as well. He looked at the white haired man and asked, "What do we do after that sir? Go back here or wait there?" He asked with all the politeness he could muster. It was obvious that he was done unpacking and settling down and was now awaiting new orders. Such was his life in the house he was working in. It gave a decent pay, especially to him since he was quick (under the guise of just being faster than most but not a speedster), but he was used to awaiting new orders from his 'masters'.

Dusk looked at all the people who arrived looking at all the different kinds. he wondered just what this could entail from how many different kinds of people had appeared. He looked to the man who showed up at the door and spoke to them. he nodded hearing about finding their rooms to drop off their bags. after they was taken in he would search to find which room would be his and sets his stuff beside the bed and stretched some before heading back to the white haired man to await what they are supposedly to be doing.

Another white haired man had entered the scene, albeit, his demeanor overall was more friendly and inviting, a very stark contrast to the one Kurohime called Master, but just about as obscure and enigmatic as he. So she was here to train it seemed, become stronger, but for what? Her prowess with a katana was adequate at most, however, she didn't think this school was one for teaching the deadly arts. No...all these others, these children...they had something in common with Kurohime, but exactly what remained a mystery.

There was one, a red headed boy, spry and witty. One moment he was with the crowd and the next...he was gone, abruptly returning yet again. The mere spectacle baffled the dark haired girl. Why am I here? She pondered. Nevertheless, she held her blade close to her and made her way through the crowd. She just wanted to go to her room, a place quiet...away from all these people.

In her haste to get away however, she accidentally shoulder checked a pink haired girl in the crowd. She didn't stop though to give an immediate apology. Instead, she kept walking.

Kofi listened to the man explaining the provisions but what interested him was the people who gathers, he watched one of the new guys running very fast, giving a nod realizing, if not already, that he was in the right place. Kofi didn't have any personal belongings but he was tired of wearing the same cloak he's had on for the last few days. He took the cloak off and dropped it on the floor, revealing his body with the markings and the bottom garment he was wearing. He went into the direction of where the rooms were to check out the room he was in and the clothes that were provided. The place was a little unusual compared to what Kofi was used to but whenever he was to get a chance, he was going to learn about his new teammates.

Liz was glad to hear there was clothes. She didn't really care about the other things. She just wanted to be able to get out of these clothes that her father had bought. They were uncomfortable and attracted too much attention for her. She wasn't the type to enjoy attention. She silently made her way towards the door. She stayed towards the back of the group not wanting to get in anyone's way.

Closing the door behind her, she noted of how quaint it felt. It was as the man described it, though, for such an illustrious school, Kurohime had suspected the rooms would be a bit more...welcoming. The walls were bleached white, bare and naked, contrasting so blatant with the polished black furniture. Perhaps it was just her room that looked like this. After all, it didn't really matter how the room appeared to her, just as long as she could close herself off from the rest of this world she knew next to nothing about...except its cruelty.

Slipping out of her shoes and setting her katana by the door, she made her way across the plush carpet to the dresser. There was already a CD player, silver, on top of it, along with a few CDs, most of them unmarked, more than likely a gift procured not from the white haired owner...but perchance...another white haired man. Hmm...how nice of Master.

Kurohime picked one from the bunch and set it in the small radio, pressing play then lying on her bed facing towards the window. The CD began to play as she shut her eyes, the melody, soft, beautiful, but quite melancholic. And as the music played, her shadows enveloped her like a thick cloud of translucent smoke, till she too blended in with the black of the room, nothing more than an infinite sea....of darkness.

"Sure thing sir." Miroku said with a salute before doing what he suggested and decided to roam around. This place was big, but the mansion was way bigger so navigating through this place would be child's play. He would talk to the other people here after the whole meeting and introduction is complete but if someone were to approach him, well that would be fine as well. He wondered if they had any underlying plans for them. Were they sent here to merely get used to their powers or are they here to train them to become some sort of supernatural army?

Thoughts raced through his head. For such a young lad, he really shouldn't be thinking like this but because he was exposed to the war games frequently played by his young master in his previous job, he had these kinds of thoughts. But he wouldn't want to doubt this place just yet. He'll let time pass and then he will make a decision to label this place as either good or bad for him. Although he wouldn't escape if it was bad since he was pretty sure that they would hunt him down if he did so.

Kofi walked into his room to check out what's been provided. He lived simply so...what he had in the room already was enough for him to get by. Checking through the drawers, he tried on the clothes that were there and......it was a perfect fit. looking through, messing around with the blanket and the rest of the bed spread since he's never had such a thing. Next, it was the computer. He never had a computer before so...he tapped the keys with nothing happening, watching a black screen.

Shrugging, Kofi managed to take a look at his room and what he had and walked out to explore a little more. He shifted into a dog as in that form, his symbols and markings were all over his dog form as he sniffed around to snoop on the other recruits. Up ahead...it was the fast kid. He looked at his initially but went back to what he was doing, sniffing the scent of others to get used to who was who.

Dusk would simply stand and wait waiting for the others to finish up now, he would look at the random dog that sniffing them... then recognized the marking as the same as one of the others who came here. he would raise an eyebrow some then shake his head and sit on the floor and close his eyes concentrating.

The music had faded out after a while, leaving her in absolute silence, albeit....it was not a peaceful silence.

Suddenly, her crimson eyes shot open with a gasp escaping her lungs, as yet another presence entered the room unannounced, dark, malevolent, and quite familiar. The pungent, iron stench of blood was wafting through the breeze of the open window, a cold, chilling breeze...

"Are you enjoying yourself?" The raspy voice entered her ears akin to a haunting requiem, coursing her to turn and face the ever intimidating masked man with hair white as a ghost, wearing his all black suit with a red tie, along with the regal pendant emblazoned on his sleeve, that of a black shield with a red Templar cross adorning it. "It's good that you are assimilating well, Kurohime, but don't get too comfortable."

"Master...?" Kurohime breathed, her voice monotone, yet with an inflection of concern upon the tip of her tongue. "How did you get here?"

"I have my ways." Master resumed leaning against the wall with his arms crossed, his constant scrutinizing gaze of eyes like black pearls towards Kurohime. Don't forget the reason you are here, my dark angel. What reason is that?" His eyebrow rose slightly.

"To...to train..." Kurohime answered after a hesitant nod.

"And?" Master added, his dark eyes narrowing into sharp slits.

Kurohime gulped, a sharp tinge to her throat as if it were swelling shut, "The...target..."

"Good." Nodded Master in return, a subtle movement under his mask indicating a wry smirk. "Remember Kurohime, these people mean nothing to you. Your only loyalty is to our cause. It took alot of work to acquire that letter for you. Do not disappoint us." And with that, he shoved himself away from the wall, tarrying across the room to the open window. He stood there for a moment, gazing out unto the sprawling green grasses of the campus, his eyes dimming over as he sighed. "This world has brought you and I so much pain. Why let it continue its meaningless existence? I will be contacting you again, momentarily monitoring your progress. Farewell, Dark Princess."

In a sudden flash his suit, black as midnight, became a plumage of shimmering black feathers fluttering in the wind, the lonely caw of a crow heard in the distance. It was the fashion in which he always left.

Dark Princess....that is what her name meant, who she was....and yet....who she wasn't.

Alone, Kurohime watched as the black bird soared away, fading into the horizon...into nothing.
