November 7th, 2016.
In the city of Springfield, Oregon, there is a private school known as Fatehaven Academy. Recently in the state, a bug was discovered, the country of its origin being unknown, that will crawl inside of a person and turn that person into a cannibalistic freak; the first sign would be coughing. The person will cough a smoker's cough for minutes. The second sign is bagging of the infected's eyes. A green tint also appears on their skin during this time. The third and final sign would be the infected collapsing, followed by them rising up moments later and attacking anyone nearby, ripping them open and feeding on their entrails...

The bug, known as 'Pandora' (after the girl who opened a box and unleashed all things evil in Greek mythology), is spreading all over the country, and even the world. For the safety of the students, the school was put under a temporary lock-down on an average school day, and it would re-open when the virus was wiped out. Not a single student isn't worried; school just started, and now they have to stay there until this thing blows over? What about their families, they have to go home sometime... But it seems that time won't come soon.

It's been two months and the bugs continue to spread, but things haven't gotten too out of hand... Yet. The school still refuses to open, fearing that there will be a large outbreak in the weeks to come. Anyhow, life goes on; studies continue, students go on with their day to day lives, and everything is at peace. However, your normal life will soon change, and you will begin your new life as a survivor in the...



*ahem* So, anyway, yeah... This is Dead School: Deaducation, a zombie RP set in a private school. Your character can either be a student, a teacher or staff, and you have two primary objectives, only one of which you can complete: escape the school, or kill all the zombies and unite (or destroy) all the factions. If you escape, I'll write an epilogue about what happens to your character (you can make a new one if you wish), and if you save the school then the game will end (it won't be easy to do this, though).

Phew, now that that's out of the way, I just want to add that few-liners will be allowed. One-liners will be allowed if your schedule gets to be hectic (can't post as often/be on as often for a while).

Personality: Kansas is honest to the point that she is blunt and often puts people off. She likes to have a good time but usually drinks too much . She doesn’t judge anything about anyone. She likes to learn and will question everything. She is vegetarian and health conscious (minus the drinking part ;) ). She can be very private when dealing with her emotions and doesn’t always open up about herself easily.

Bio (at least a paragraph): Kansas grew up in a wealthy, conservative family. Her parents were both scientist who fell in love in college. Her father started many biological research foundations in her brother’s name - a twin brother of hers who died of an unidentified illness when she was 5. She was raised in a spoiled manner but always felt as if her parents missed having two children. She was put in every available theater production and pageant her mother could find but she never took to them as well as she took to dance. She became obsessed after her first class. She has always had a lot of friends but has never had a best friend. She has attended private schools up until her senior year, when she convinced her parents to let her try a public school for the “experience”.

Skills (for every skill, add a weakness): Public speaking, leadership, proficient dancer (agility and situational awareness)

Weaknesses: constant anxiety, fear of being alone, pushes herself to extremes for perfection

Alright. Hm, that's strange; though Letter Bee told me that my tag in another RP (that both of us are co-GMs of) didn't work, so maybe it's a problem on my end.

@Simple Unicycle Which is even weirder because the other two times you tagged me, it has worked. It could have been a simple glitch.

(also, not related to the RP itself but to GMing, I would like to suggest perhaps trying to establish a Skype chat for the RP if you haven't already. In my experience, this keeps the OOC far less cluttered and encourages RPers to hang out with one another)

That took longer than expected...mostly because I changed my mind about what character I wanted to put in first halfway through completing the sheet. Hope she's acceptable. I may put together a male character for this as well...tomorrow though. Now I sleep.

Name: Loralei Harper Parker

Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual
Appearance: Loralei has the petite frame of a gymnast, complete with pixie like features like a perfectly symmetrical face and properly proportioned nose. Her small bust actually fits her frame perfectly, making her Bs look like moderate Cs. Slightly shorter than average, Loralei only stands at about five foot three. Her golden topaz colored eyes are round, but she uses eyeliner to help create the illusion of narrowness/almond shape even if she isn’t wearing any other make up. Generally, she only wears nude smokey-eye eyeshadow and a lip gloss a shade or two darker than her own lips. Light brown hair color often confused with dirty blonde flows down nearly to her waist; she keeps her chin length bangs tucked behind her ears but not pinned. When not having to wear her school uniform, she typically dresses in sneakers, some nice hip hugger jeans, and a baby-tee; she likes to be comfortable over making sure she looks attractive/dolled up. She loves jewelry, especially necklaces and rings, and never goes anywhere without at least one of each.

Personality: Sweet and kind of bubbly, she has a knack for finding the silver lining to almost anything. As much as she loves sharing exciting stories, whether they’re her own exploits or someone else’s. Despite a childhood being the center of attention from her father and eldest brother, she still always wants to hear about everyone else’s day - especially if it helps her make friends with someone else. She doesn’t stand for any kind of bullying; that’s when she puts on her serious face and will step in to try to work things out peacefully.
Often times she wishes her life were more like a musical. She sometimes breaks out into a song - not in the middle of a conversation, but more out of nowhere - just to get it out of her head or because she just wants to fill the silence. It doesn’t take much to egg her on to sing or break out into monologues from plays; the more people around, the better her performance.

Bio: Youngest of four and only daughter, Loralei grew up babied and pampered *because there is a difference* by her father and overprotected by her eldest two brothers. With her love of being photographed (a regular occurrence since her eldest brother aspired to be a cinematographer or director) beginning at a young age, her mother helped get her life in front of a camera started when she was five. She did local modeling photos and commercials until she was nine, when she landed her first acting role in a children’s show as a background character with one line. After a series of appearances like that on various television shows, she finally got a break when she was fourteen and was hired on as one of the leads in a musical high school sitcom.
Despite loving it, Loralei ended up quitting the show after only two seasons; during that season her brother - William - had been injured on active duty and returned for physical therapy, her uncle had passed away, and her father was struggling with writer’s block being so far from the rest of their family. After spending the summer with her family and school hunting, she finally found Fatehaven Academy and enrolled.
