Well, it's not that bad. Just me and Tyler trying to fend off criticism towards the story. Also, I don't think there's anything to rework. After all, it's your idea, and it just seems unfair that you should be disheartened because of someone else's opinion.

Alice's criticism is relevant, and factual. A million men could never take America. No more than America could take Russia in the winter. With the current rate of population growth, and with the advanced tech of the future (I'm just saying that if we get to the end of the 21st century, we found a way to get recyclable energy, limit the climate change, get more water and food, etc.) We'd have a population boom, and it's not uncanny that we'd have 10 billion people on our planet by then. A million soldiers couldn't possibly take America. Not without dropping nuclear bombs and the like.
China alone would have a billion and a half of people by then. (Don't they already?)
Numbers like a hundred million, or even a billion soldiers would be enough to overrun America.

On the other side of the fence, China has the fastest growing Economy, Asia is a superpower on the rise. And a united Asia would be terrifying now. Even more so in 80 years.

Those are my 25 cents, at least.

Yes, but it doesn't matter about the facts, does it? It's a roleplay set in a standalone, fictional universe. It doesn't have to be factually accurate. Heck, for all we know, people poop shotgun shells. It's only here for people to enjoy, and not to get all stressy over things like this, as it really ruins the experience, and Wraith is already disheartened to continue with this as it is.

Actually China's economy is plateauing. If they don't do something and soon, it's going to start slipping backwards. It's way over inflated.

And there is so much dissent in Asia, half of China is at war with itself, there's no way China/Asia can rise to be a superpower in the next 80 years unless there's a radical change from the current regime.

On another note, @Lord Wraith *pats head* don't be discouraged. I think you have a good idea.

Exactly. So there must have been a change in regime, just like how the world must have fixed the environmental issues, food and water by the end of this century.
Either that, or they did nothing of it, and the reason America fell is because they simply were out of resources, civil strife and conflicts within their own borders. Like second American Civil War-levels of conflict.

A tanking China would wreck everyone's economy though. Which could only work if America never quite recovered from it. Which is completely possible in that sort of scenario. Which would also lead to America being more easily defeated.

A win-win then.

I think probability in a plot is a very important element for any Roleplay or Story. That said, it just simply means I have more world building than I originally intended.

I'm still excited about the RP, I just need to put some more work into it. Which isn't much of a problem as I wasn't going to launch it until after Christmas anyways.

@Lord Wraith Please, don't feel forced to change anything because of what I've been saying. Do recall that I did express interest in the idea in the first place. Even if the idea of a Asia invading America seems silly to me, I have been completely willing to overlook it from the start.

Haha. As a matter of fact, I've always wanted to play a Truth Inducer in an RP ever since I seen that episode where she was exposed to that gas. Buuuuuut no not her.
