The last thing you remember was something normal. Perhaps you were going to a job interview at a company that you wanted to work at for years. Perhaps you were going on a date with that girl from your class. Maybe, you were just falling asleep. But, your past doesn't quite matter now.
By the time you woke up, you were no longer in the safe confines of a normal city. The warm comforts of a bed had been replaced by slabs of concrete. Before you could even react to your new surroundings, you heard loud blood-curdling scream - something that you'd expect in a generic horror movie, but not real life.
As you got up from the concrete slab you noticed a cardboard box in front of you. As you got near it, a quiet chime sounded from within.
Welcome to Happiness, a survival mystery where every choice you make could affect the characters of everyone else.
To make things worse, food and water are scarce. The only way to get new supplies is to complete a daily mission, given to you on the phone you get from the start. Daily missions come in on texts. They range from inane actions to targeted murders. Completing these missions are optional, -but- something bad may happen if you skip too many of them.
Of course, you could also take supplies from other people without their permission. But doing this makes you unhappier and unhappier. At some point, you would be declared as not happy at all, and that would be a problem, wouldn't it?
Rules:
- Site-wide rules and standard RP-rules apply (no godmodding, bunnying, metagaming, etc)
- Try not to argue in the OOC. A few disagreements, I don't mind, but keep it civil.
- If you disappear for a few days and halt the IC for a long time, they'll disappear/die. Unless you give me a notice that you'll be gone, I'll be doing this.
- If you think your character would be able to solve a riddle but you (personally) can't, I'll tell you the answer via a PM. However, that's only if I see that they have the necessary qualifications to complete it.
- Don't bold everything in the application. It hurts my seeing spheres.
Terminology:
Refer to this if you forget what things mean.
