Just like in this RP, while it wasn't anything extreme like rape, everyone still knows he's a creep. If Light was looking at any female as an easy target, the alien who probably doesn't have the basic rights of American citizens would be the guy's grande prize. But you're right, it's not illegal to ask someone out. If she had rights, like every other woman in America, she could get him for sexual assault if he even put his hand on her shoulder. We've been fucked as a society for the last couple decades. As an American, I've seriously already made plans to move to New Zealand where I've got a little family if it gets much worse. Also, Rebecca Watson? Should that name ring any bells?
