Light was never convicted of raping Elongated Man's wife in the DCU, but people still knew he was a perv. Just like in this RP, while it wasn't anything extreme like rape, everyone still knows he's a creep. If Light was looking at any female as an easy target, the alien who probably doesn't have the basic rights of American citizens would be the guy's grande prize. But you're right, it's not illegal to ask someone out. If she had rights, like every other woman in America, she could get him for sexual assault if he even put his hand on her shoulder. Still, doesn't mean everyone has to be nice to him or even give him benefit of the doubt. Makes for some interesting conflict in the game though.

We've been fucked as a society for the last couple decades. As an American, I've seriously already made plans to move to New Zealand where I've got a little family if it gets much worse. Also, Rebecca Watson? Should that name ring any bells?

well seeing as how this isn't main canon, I'm pretty sure this Light isn't the one who raped Sue, so using that Light as an argument would be like saying Superman is fascist murderer because Injustice, Earth x and earth 3 have evil versions of him.

Also is New Zealand a good alternative? Because Australia is fucked up and the worst place to be a gamer

Why's Australia so bad? As for NZ, my older niece seems to think it's pretty chill. She's gotta drive over two hours though to buy stuff like candy, Doritos, or have a good cell phone signal.

If you want a near perfect example of a failed socialist country, then please look at Australia. It is almost fascist in how it censors and regulates games. Their PC culture has produced some very ridiculous policies and it leaves you scratching your head.

My niece met her husband on an MMORPG, and he's from NZ. So it can't be that bad. Still, I didn't know about all that though. I'm not much of a gamer either so I wouldn't move there for the games, I'd move there so my family isn't scared of police abusing their power on the regular, or fearing that another civil war was on the horizon. Where I live in TN it's beginning to change into a major metropolitan area and crime and drug abuse in my region continues to climb higher. All the green fields that stretched for miles are becoming sub divisions for housing rich retired people from out of state, and for putting up more shopping malls and fast food joints. As I understand, NZ you can still live out in the middle of nowhere. I'd move there and live completely off the grid if I could, bit harder to do with a wife and kid though.
