Should I go to Actium instead? Cause that's where everyone else seems to be....

How many characters can I create for this shindig? I've got a mind for an undead character, but I'm not looking forward to waiting to be able to interact with the others :D

@OneStoryToMany Campus Magnus if you want the possibility of being enlisted by Gripus, Actium if you want to eat sweet rolls and feed dragons disguised as orphans. Accepted, by the way.

@TheHangedMan As many as you want, so long as you can provide the time to give them all the attention that they require.

I'd love to get enlisted, however the fact that he dislikes magic, and murders "suspected" necromancers worries me because I walk around with a giant bone...not the most innocent kinda thing :p hahaha. Though could you imagine the image of Gaius if some lady dressed head to toe in a black cloak, face pulled deep in the cowl, holding a giant bone just walked up to him??? I wouldn't survive ten minutes, unless I rotted out everyone's flesh....you know...like I can't do...yet.

@OneStoryToMany Imperator Gaius is just an NPC, the Imperial commander based at Campus Magnus, who I decided to interact with for story's sakes. My opening post is just setting the scene for Gripus to embark upon his heroic quest to quell evils and what not.

Gripus (my actual character) himself is retired from the Imperial Magi, and will be comparatively open minded with those he encounters.

I think I should go to Actium and hire a town crier to go around shouting "looking for group! Alchemist looking to create group for adventure to to kiol a wraith" or some such nonsense.

*Edited*

Well never mind that then. Hire a boy at Campus Magnus for the same purpose, and you and I can be a small duo and go kick booty?

Looks like we've got a pretty magic-heavy cast on the side of the living. I might toss another character into the mix to remedy that. Won't be until later though, I need sleep.

If it turns out we don't need more fighters I'll just make them Undead instead.

Yeah I normally never use magic characters, and go with a ranger or a knight in these kinds of Rps... however I fancied a change, and now think that a disgruntled Legionnaire or some huntsmen may need to accompany Gripus. Not sure how long he'll last by himself before things get laughable.

He can always be an NPC and get killed off later? Or keephim around to use as a body shield/slash useful pawn. I've seen it before in rps.

@Frengo

Actually, I think I want one, maybe I should make a secondary character. Like simple foot soldier, turned into blood slave or something.

@Frengo I'm probably going to dredge up my Elven Ex-Paladin. Atonement is good impetus to slay the Undead, and she'd still be fun to play as one risen-from-the-grave if I decide to go that route.

@FateWeaver Sure, sounds good.

@AtomicNut Sounds like they'd be useful.

@OneStoryToMany Um, I'm aiming to be as lenient as possible, because Fantasy with restrictions becomes less... well, Fantasy. I wont stop you from using Pet, but I can imagine that a lot of NPCs, such as Imperial Magi and Imperial Legionaries, taking issue with some mindless "blood zombie", and more so with its creator.

In short, you can use him, but I would expect you having trouble navigating Imperial settlements. More than likely, once someone realized that Pet wasn't just a mentally impaired human, they'd have your Elf arrested, and Pet would be "released" from the nightmare that his life must surly be.

Perhaps a simple hired sword would be best to fill the role? Some cut throat that you've offered a share of the reward to... even if you eventually plan to Pet-ify them later on because you're an evil ass hole?

It was a joke. Lord have mercy. I wrote that in like five minutes. I thought that was obvious. Though, I really do think an NPC would be a good option temporarily, at least until more character interactions occur. Half the people are in one place half in another. Even if we don't travel together solitary individuals are easy pickings, and my character would have a lot of difficulty surviving. So at the very least I'd need to hire a sword, or have some kind of party.

Currently working on a real CS for companion. Will probably go NPC route cause interacting with myself would be strange. Probably do a kind of third person pov instead maybe.

Quick question about the lore; where do wraiths stand in the undead chain of command? Do they hold precedence over revenants?
