... Wouldn't that "male feminist" actually be a "meninist", considering the topic being representing males in media (lol)? Y'all are so quick to associate any bad sj stuff with feminism.

Its because radical feminazis are at the fore front of all those bat shit insane SJ crap. Like the thing in colleges that "colleges shouldn't be a 'place of intellectual learning', but a 'safe home'". The entire "safe space" movement baffles me. Yes, I see a point in its origins, but when you have people sign petitions to ban the freedom of speech because people "feel uncomfortable" when certain people say certain things.

Something else that bothers me is how most feminists on social media will always play the victim card, saying they have "PTSD from Twitter comments" or "need a bodyguard when going out in public". Yet they will viciously tear up people who go against them with a witchunting mob-mentality like that one scientist who actually broke down in tears because of a fucking shirt he was wearing. He actually deserves a bodyguard, not the women who are afraid of the "piercing stares of perverted men who catcall and objectify them" and the "dominating patriarchy which derives pleasure from subjugating women". Or the feminazi who snapped back at a marine who said that she can't get PTSD from Twitter trolls and threatened to call the guy's commanding officer (as if they'd be on her side; fucking asshat).

Amongst the other things that feminists have done/promoted that piss me off are:
- The idea that gender is but a social construct (its not)
- Men and women are completely equal and that its the patriarchy that stops women from going into STEM fields (no its not, its biology at play)
- Saying that a man being homosexual is his choice while a man being heterosexual is the result of society (dafaq? This is more hypocrisy than the medieval Catholic church.)
- Man-shaming by saying that its wrong for a man to find a sexy lady attractive (Again, trying to override biology)
- The entire subject-object relationship they speak of (it can actually be used in almost anything in life; the relationship between you and your boss can also count as it)
- Video Games cause sexism (bitch its already proven that games don't cause horrible mental changes in people. This is also gate ways into a whole host of other stuff)
- Not understanding why some women don't like modern feminism and label them "misguided" or "oppressed by the patriarchy"
- Celebrating when women make more money than men even though gender equality doesn't mean the same as women getting paid more than men
- Mob mentality and victim playing
- "Everything is sexist, everything is racist, everything is homophobic."

(I realize this has turned into more of a personal ranting instead of an answer/reply to you @Sen, please forgive me)
/endrant

EDIT: Anyone else notice how most feminist/SJWs are all middle class white women or white knights (who are trying to get laid by saying they're 'feminists')?
I find it interesting how in history its usually the black, the asians, the natives, etc etc who draw the short end of the stick yet you don't hear them complain as much or get nearly as much media attention when they do.

Watch that part of the video or read the article, it's very feminist

Oh, sorry I took the way you worded it the wrong way lmao. I understand what you mean now.

I don't necessarily agree with everything said, but there are a few points I'd like to address:

Yet they will viciously tear up people who go against them with a witchunting mob-mentality like that one scientist who actually broke down in tears because of a fucking shirt he was wearing.

yeah that was pretty fucked up.

- The idea that gender is but a social construct (its not)
ClocktowerEchos

I'd beg to differ. Sex (the physical/biological characteristics of males and females) is different from gender. Gender is how a society/culture/etc defines the sexes. To (probably most of) society, men aren't just defined by having a dong. You should have the body of a man, the mind of a man, so forth. That's gender. You can be biologically male (as in, your sex is male, you have a male reproductive system and so forth) but you can be female gender-wise. You can have the body of a female, the voice of a female, so forth. Correct me if I'm wrong, but gender is a social construct. Sex isn't.

- Saying that a man being homosexual is his choice while a man being heterosexual is the result of society (dafaq? This is more hypocrisy than the medieval Catholic church.).
ClocktowerEchos

I've never seen anyone say that, but I wouldn't doubt it being said by someone. I agree with this being stupid.

- Mob mentality and victim playing
ClocktowerEchos

As someone on the "good" side of tumblr where I found myself a drama-less corner, I see toxic mob mentality so much and it's not even just radical feminists/SJWs. Tumblr as a whole has a really nasty problem with mobbing and it's honestly just disgusting. Someone decides something an artist did three years ago was Problematic and then a bunch of people jump on board the lynch train and drive them straight off the website with a myriad of things, including but not limited to: death threats, personal insults in general, spamming, and rumor spreading. IMO it's just kinda a big problem with our society in general, though the bunch of peeps you guys hate is especially notorious for it.

Anyone else notice how most feminist/SJWs are all middle class white women or white knights (who are trying to get laid by saying they're 'feminists')?

Most of the so-called "feminazis" talked about a lot on this thread tend to be white women carrying a particularly bad kind called White Feminism. They're easy to make fun of because of their, uh, interesting views, and they're dealing with issues they have with the "healthy" part of society. People of color (+ actually normal feminists), along with having traditionally been less represented in the media, deal moreso with the more real, actually-serious-issues-we're-all-ignoring-to-argue-against-first-world-white-feminism things. Like the treatment of women in the middle-east, the restrictions & problems with women's health care (ie. abortion and the like), and so forth. This is the kind of feminism that should be respected and supported by everyone. I'm not saying the more "superficial", more radical-ish feminism isn't valid, but there is a very real need for feminism in the world still. We also need equal for women AND men. Custody settlements are disgustingly weighted against men, and things like that need to be ended. Women aren't as safe as men are on the streets, and things like that need to be ended.

I kind of went on my own little tangent there, but basically my point is that there's an important type of feminism in this world, and it's not about lynching someone wearing a shirt depicting a scantily clad woman. First-world society also needs to make men and women actually equal. But, that's all my opinion. Feel free to correct me if you think I'm wrong anywhere.

@SenI agree with most of your points besides the gender one. But I think what you consider gender is what I consider sexual identiety since I lump who you think you are and who you're attracted to into a single group (ie. A straight male or a bisexual transfemale).

Ain't buying the whole "pansexual" thing that requires the use of xe/xim and the myriad of names people make up to try and cover up for being bisexual. Just say you're bisexual for christ sakes. Ain't like the people who hate that stuff aren't going to hate you any less.

@Senyou're delusional if you think men are safer on the streets. Men get murdered more and experience violent crimes far more. Stop listening to that feminist news crap. Men don't need feminism, what men need is MRA and egalitarianism, not some female worshipping ideology that promotes professional victimhood.

Female chauvinism is here today all because of feminism

wow yikes

... As much as I would love to leave it at that, I can't. First of all, when I say "women aren't as safe as men on the streets", I'm less referring to violent crime and moreso to over-all safety. But, since you want to talk about violent crime rates, according to Statistics Canada (my country of origin and thus the place I checked on instinct; your mileage may vary assuming you're American), violent crime victims are essentially equal gender-wise on a national scale, with females being 51% of victims. You do raise a valid point in that men are victims of homicide and assault more, but sexual assault cases are overwhelmingly women. Not sure about you, but I really don't worry about just ~randomly being murdered~, and as a male, I worry less about being sexually assaulted than most women. I feel safer (and probably am) in general on the streets than a large percentage of women in my country. Additionally, many types of organized crime are dominated by men. I'm just guessing, but that probably has something to do with the rates of homicide targeting men.

As for "men not needing feminism", yeah, you're right. I don't need it, seeing as I'm not female. But you know what? I feel like being a decent human being, and supporting the issues that women actually have that we don't is, in my honest opinion, part of that. We also need to get rid of the issues men have too, such as the particularly toxic parts of masculinity (and as a gay male, let me tell you, there's a number of 'em) and the previously mentioned disgusting custody bias, among other things.

Male chauvinism is here today all because of masculinism. See how easy it is to blame a rights movement for something? B)

I thought the idea behind pansexual was supposed to be that you are willing to fuck anyone who is game for it. I don't keep track of this, and I don't really try to, but my understanding was that a bisexual is somebody who sticks to screwing your basic men and women, while pansexuals will screw men, women, men who identify as women, women who identify as men, hermaphrodites of whatever kind, etc.

Because yah, the xe/xim bullshit is just attention-whores being attention-whores. That seems pretty new, but I remember pansexuality being talked about before the big internet SJ movement.

Alright.
1. It took me a full 40 minutes to recollect myself after seeing that your response was essentially "that doesn't apply to me and your country's laws are weird anyway". Like... I was prepared for many things, but not that.

2. Since you want to talk specifically USA, here's something from the American Buraeu of Justice Statistics, stating that violent crime rates are almost equal, with males experiencing slightly more. My point regarding male homicide linking to male presence in organized crime remains unrefuted. All of my points remain unrefuted, actually.

I have a friend coming to visit me this week. I bought us tickets to a show, pretty expensive, and she texts me "How much do I owe you?" and I said "dw, I gotchu :)" without even telling her the price, just cause I felt like being an awesome friend.

Then she replies "Oh yeah, I guess that's fair considering gas and travel time." I just wanted to be like, "You could have just said thank you, considering I literally never bring that up the 5x I've come to visit you and this is the first time you've visited me since I moved out." It's more annoying cause it implies how much she takes it for granted when I visit her.

Now this is a legitimate complaint and not the, "tfw no gf, therefore a hate being a fellow human" shit going on here.

I'm kinda ticked off about the fact that people can't just shut the fuck up about feminism and Men's Rights and all that shit and just say "Hey, let's stop screaming at each other and actually try to make thing better for us all."

That'd be great.

I mean, gender identity, sexual orientation, all that shit causes so much grief. Can we just stop giving fucks? If everyone could just stop giving fucks all at once, the world would be a better place.

>Go to make eggs benedict
>Full homemade deal, hollandaise sauce, poached egg
>Poached eggs comes out lacking in the egg in the end
>Scooping the eggs out of the pot and there's still egg-white floating around in the water, having not wrapped themselves around the cooked egg as hoped
>Now eating eggs benedict with 50% less egg

Not that I'm disagreeing with you at all but I need to ask about Traps yet again, I'm sure they don't fall into the bisexual choices? I mean are they transexuals? or just cross dressers? Ive struggled with this and many other things, does it make someone a trapsexual?

I think the "trap" status is independant from sexual orientation? It's probably just a form of cross dressing/transexuality (depending on whether they consider themselves male or female). If you like traps, I at least know your kink now.

... Well, no. Don't.

Anyways, here's an actual complaint from me for once: people who think it's okay to just stand wherever whenever. Like, if it's a busy place, please do not form a wall with your friends as you go down the mall. Please do not inconveniently stand right in front of the bathroom. Please do not stop in a one-person-wide corridor to talk to someone. It's not that hard to not obstruct everyone??

About the part of pansexuals, I don't hate pansexuals themselves, I hate the names of the sexualities people come up with. That's real BS to me and at which point you aren't doing anything but attention whoring by being a "unilateral tetrahedral bipanhomoheterosexual"

I fucking despise people who hate on other countries just because they are those countries. Like Russia, Germany, Japan, or more obviously the U.S.A. People who can't get a clue about how EVERY SINGLE COUNTRY EVER has dirty laundry or it's share of bad people make me more angry than most anything else in the world. It's the sheer ignorance of the fact that every nation has had it's bad points. Rome had it's fair share of monsters, The Middle East had it's fair share of monsters, Germany had world war two, Japan has had it's unethical experiments on the chinese and americans, the chinese were quite brutal in their own ways, Britain had it's rampant imperialism, France had Imperialism as well though not as bad as Britain, and so on and so on I won't even bother to list all of America's flaws because well yeah their dirty laundry is apparent almost everywhere.

If you want to hate on something hate on a specific person or group inside of the nation NOT the nation itself because the nation itself is a blanket on many innocent individuals whom have done nothing wrong and don't deserve to be threatened with death wishes because you don't like what their government has stood for in the present or past. It's all a load of garbage.
