Saw this online and found it oh so fitting, I had to share.

Really, 2016 is doing a pretty good job at being a shit year so far.

It is a sad time to be a fan of talented Brits in their late 60's/early 70's, that's for sure. : (

I saw a post (on a different site) that Rickman passed away and my first thought was "No... That can't be true!" Then more and more people confirmed it and I just stared at my iPad in disbelief then I started to cry a little.
Because it was totally an unexpected thing to see on one's social media news feed...
Makes you realise how our lives can be put out like fragile candle flames.
It makes me sad when these people pass away, especially when they've been loved by millions and maybe even been the source of someone's inspiration.

I know the feeling. I first checked to see if it was hoax...

It's funny, these people, ones we have never met, their deaths truly affect so many of us. We love they characters, we quote their lines, they slowly weave their ways into our daily lives. We remember scenes we've watched with friends, family. Movies or music we've put on to help us through the day. When we lose one, we feel like we've lost a little bit of ourselves and we mourn that loss. We mourn never knowing what other great things they could have done if they had had only more time.
