Ty was suddenly flooded with information that would help him survive this place, it was frightening but relieving at the same time. The unknown could be anyone's downfall. The dining area they were led to was large and seemingly ordinary and the smell of food helped put Ty at ease. He was probably freaking Veronica out but since he hadn't ever had a lot of friends that looked after him like this, he wasn't sure how to avoid the awkwardness. "Maybe music will help me calm down." he thought, now put the headphones that were around his neck up and over his ears. As he was about to press play on the mp3 player that was in his pocket, he realized how rude this probably seemed. Especially since she was going out of her way to look after him.

"Music helps calm me down you see. It always has." Ty said to Veronica as he then hit play and felt the vibrations of the music flow through him. Growing up on the streets was tough on Ty and the only thing that ever helped him escape the misery was music. Almost instantly, you could see him brighten up, his fearful walk became more casual, his face no longer filled with sorrow. It brought balance back to him. All that was left was to get some food in his stomach and then he would be as happy as one could get given the circumstances.

Kiiros was shaken awake. "Huh... wah..." He looked up at the guard that had rudely woken him up. "It's time for lunch, go follow the others." Kiiros yawned and tried to rub the sleep out of his eyes. "Yeah, yeah...." He stood up, stretching for a moment before the guard grabbed his arm. Kiiros violently pulled his arm back. "Hands off! I can go by myself, I don't need my hand held or anything." He was pretty grumpy from being woken up so roughly. Following the others, the guard annoyingly tracking behind him, they reached a rather large room with multiple tables. Kiiros took a seat at the large one in the centre of the room. He yawned, laying his head down. Still not fully awake, he accidentally fell asleep again.

Veronica gave Ty a look of understanding after he lit up from whatever music he was listening to. She walked over to a table and sat, unsure exactly what to do. The last time she was given a meal was four years ago when she was forced to go to a soup kitchen because she could not find any food. She watched as everyone else came into the room.

A guard walked alongside Ryouko, flanking him on the side where he could see doors. Though, he always glanced to his left more than his right. He stayed silent, with his ghost of a smile on his face. Meeting new people was fun for him!

But these guards needed to lighten up a little bit to him, it seemed.

He silently continued his walk, wondering in silence as he fixed his headphones around his neck. 'I wonder who I'll meet.' He thought softly, as he was eventually led to it...The lunch room. Ryouko glanced around and took a seat at one of the empty tables, if there were any.

'This place is...or seems...Nicer than where I've been before.' He thought again, keeping his mouth shut as he seemed too shy to approach anyone who was there already. Thankfully no allergies to food, though!

Veronica saw another new person walk in and sighed. She quickly went over "Hey, the name is Veronica. I control energy wavelengths. Welcome to the group." She stopped by quickly then went over to a guard and asked "Do we go and get the food? I assume we do, I just don't know where to go."

Jen was dragged into the lunch room and sat down on a chair. She let out a cry as one of the guards pulled up her sleeve and put his hand on it. She let out a small whimper as her hair and eyes faded to red, before the guard removed his hand.

Several pizzas were placed on the tables. "Help yourselves. There is pepperoni, sausage, cheese, veggie, and Hawaiian. The guard pointed to each pizza. The guards moved to the side of the room allowing the teens to mingle. They would be able to eat whatever and however much they wanted to.

Kiiros was still asleep at the table, drooling on his arm.

Veronica's face lit up when she heard there was Hawaiian pizza. Though she had only eaten it three times in her life, she was certain the gods of every religion had conspired to make it. She went over and began to eat. The one downside was that part of her mutation meant that food would get irradiated as it went down her throat, which generally meant that most of the nourishment was destroyed.

Ryouko thought this was rather friendly of Veronica and nodded his head softly at her greeting, prepared to try and answer her to be polite...but then she went towards one of the guards, and so Ryouko's eyes fell on another person who didn't seem to want to be in the room at all. Jen. His head tilted to the side as he blinked, trying to discern what happened. Her hair had changed colors...strange. Very strange.

But to Ryouko, it was cool and intriguing. He softly ran a hand through his bangs, combing them back to the side with his fingertips. Then he saw the pizza, moving to get a slice of Pepperoni before he walked back to his seat, beginning to 'dig in', as one would say, to his meal. Pepperoni was his all time favorite. He needed to learn how they made it, someday!

Jen stood up slowly, shivering slightly as she walked over, taking a seat next to Veronica, remaining silent.

Katherin had no idea what to take. She looked at all the pizzas. They all looked so good. She had never had pizza. Not hot and fresh like these were. She knew she wouldn't be able to eat much. She had never had a lot of food. She had to choose carefully. She watched the others make their choices. She worried if she took too long that she would lose her chance to choose. But she didn't want to rush this decision.

@Carlsberg Veronica had witnessed what happened with Jen from the corner of her eye while devouring some pizza. "Sorry about those guards, not much I can do though...for now." The brief thought of giving Jen some of her happiness crossed her mind, but she knew Jen wouldn't want it. Also the pain of slightly radioactive pineapple was starting to get to her.

"Its... its ok," she said, still shivering.
It really wasn't ok, but she didn't want fo upset anyone, so she kept quiet.
"How's the pizza?" She asked, curious as she'd never tasted it.

He felt bad for Jen, the one he had seen in discomfort with how the guard had treated her. He didn't like it that much either, if he was being honest. And so Ryouko pulled his headphones up softly, seeking to drown out the talking that he had no part in, as he didn't want to listen in to their talking.

Not trying to be rude, though, but be considerate of their conversation as he began to glance at each one of the guards, trying to determine something. 'These men look like robots, in a way.' Ryouko thought.

"What is this shit!? DO I LOOK CHEAP TO YOU!?" A flaming veggie pizza went flying into a wall. Kiiros was obviously awake now, already arguing with the staff. "I expected better than pizza!" "Well then what the hell do you want!?" some guards were trying to keep him under control. "Give me a god damn steak, some baked potatoes, something other than boring ass pizza! You expect me to eat that disgusting crap!?" He sat back in his chair with his arms crossed, seething. He was not pleased, having been rudely woken up again. The poor vegetable pizza burning to a charred mess in the corner. A guard was already gone and came back with a steak dinner, placing it on the table in front of the fuming red head. "Much better." now satisfied with a better meal, he grabbed a fork and started biting into the steak since they knew better than to give him a knife in this mood. The guards returned back to their posts, mumbling complaints to each other. One thing they learned about Kiiros without the need of a test, is that he is even more of an asshole when he's woken up and hungry.

"At least you get a choice if you eat or not," Jen muttered

David followed the guards and sat down. He took one slice but didnt eat much of it. He just sipped his water he had. He sat back trying to think. He looked at all the students. The guards mentioned somethign about battles. He knew he should eat to much. To much and he would be to full and sluggish to fight. He finished his slice and slipped his water again.

Wes headed into the lunch room with everyone while they were associating together. He headed over to check if there were any barbeque pizzas to chow down on but hearing that combat was going to be next, Wes took a look at all of his fellow test mutants as he wondered who he would face and who would be the most problematic when facing them. The energy wavelengths were going to be hell to deal with but if not too extreme, he could adapt. The life energy absorption through skin contact, that was another to watch out for. electrokinesis, pyrokinesis, flight, abilities that would be difficult to counter, but...a challenge he would accept. The two new guys he caught sight of, he had no idea what they were capable of but he didn't want to underestimate them.

Veronica had to think about how to answer, knowing she had never eaten food. "It is hard to describe to someone who has never had it. I guess it tastes like... electricity balancing with earthy tones. I can imagine it perfectly, but the English language lacks enough descriptive words." She began to wonder who she would fight and how. The only person she would be okay with harming would be Kiiros...but there is no way the guards would have us fight, they know how bad that could be for everyone. Veronica stopped eating after her fifth slice, only really getting the value of two, she knew eating too much would be disastrous for combat.
