Awesome looking rp guys-love the idea and concept. Would throw my hat in myself but I have never even dared an attempt at a Starwars rp, its a universe to vast for me to adequately do it justice (feel the same way about mass effect)

Well I'm sure no one would be too upset if you made any mistakes with it. You can always sort of wade in the shallow end, as it were, and stay in areas you know a lot about.

I myself lean very heavily on the wiki anytime I RP Star Wars.

Name: Zaskon

Age: 25

Gender: Male

Species: Rattataki

Appearance:

Affiliation: Bounty Hunters Guild

Background: Zaskon has been a Bounty Hunter since the age of 18 and was originally born on Nal Hutta to a pair of Rattataki pit combatants that often fought as a team against wild beasts that their cruel master, Ochuba the Hutt would set on them for the amusement of himself and his guests. The two Rattataki always won up until the day Zaskon was born. Ochuba was curious to see how the two would fight now that they were distracted with the thoughts of their child and decided to throw a small group of Nexu in the pit with them. Zaskon's mother was already weak from childbirth and as such was not at her top physical condition and Zaskon's father was doing his best to protect himself and his wife and did an admirable job of it. Of the five Nexu that were thrown in the pit only one was left when the two Rattataki finally succumbed to their wounds and the Nexu had to be killed due to it's injuries.

Unknown to Ochuba, before their final battle, Zaskon's parents had guessed what Ochuba's plan was and begged one of his enforcers to watch over their son and to tell him of his parents and his culture and help guide on the path of being a warrior when he was old enough to understand. The enforcer, a female Chiss bounty hunter named Valris was sympathetic to them and agreed to do so. Over the years, Zaskon was taught many valuable skills such as ranged and melee weapon proficiency, proper weapon maintenance, basic and advanced hand-to-hand combat techniques. Valris taught him the Code of the Bounty hunters and taught him to live his life by the code, after Zaskon memorized the code, she told him what Ochuba had done to his parents. Under Valris's guidance, Zaskon became a very skilled pit fighter by the age of 15 and was able to fight and win nearly all of his battles with Valris being forced to intervene only once. Unfortunately, Ochuba learned of Valris's intervention in the pit match and later learned that she had been the one who trained Zaskon. In retaliation, Ochuba threw her in the pit with a small Gundark pack and had her killed in a hail of blaster-fire when the weakened Chiss enforcer managed to defeat the Gundark. As Zaskon watched the woman he had come to think of as a mother die in a hail of blaster fire, something inside of him died. A week later, Zaskon was placed in the pit with a Kaleesh warrior and managed to defeat him in short order. Ochuba ordered his guards to take Zaskon to his cell so he could prepare for the next challenge. Ochuba assumed that after killing Valris, Zaskon would be easier to control.

The Hutt was wrong

As he was led away, Zaskon managed to suddenly break the neck of the first guard and grabbed the second guard's blaster pistol and shot the guard at point blank range before aiming up at Ochuba who was watching him from his favorite spot above the pit and shot him a number of times in the head. Despite Ochuba's thick skin, the blaster bolts killed him and the audience looked down at him in shock as he bolted deeper in Ochuba's fortress. After killing a number of guards, Zaskon raided the armory and grabbed whatever credits he could steal along with Valris's badly damaged armor before escaping the fortress. He was forced to hide in the swamps of Nal Hutta for a number of days before a Weequay Bounty Hunter finally found him. The hunter had a sudden realization as he pointed his blaster rifle as Zaskon: Why not bring him into the Bounty Hunter's guild instead of turning him in for only 5000 credits?

And so the next chapter of Zaskon's life began. After detonating a thermal detonator in the swamp to fake Zaskon's death, the Weequay who went by the name of Nikros took him on as a student and began teaching him more about the guild and that he didn't always have to kill the bounties that he would be sent after. After a number of years of learning from Nikros and eventually becoming a bounty hunter in everything but name, Zaskon was officially recognized as a full fledged bounty hunter and an official member of the guild. Zaskon still keeps in close contact with Nikros and on occasion works with him when the situation is more than one hunter can handle. Despite his upbringing, Zaskon believes in the bounty hunter code and does his best to follow it to the letter.

Equipment:
Ear-link
Password and Bio-linked database link
Valris's armor which had been repaired and upgraded. He still wears it to show his respect for her and as a way of remembering all that she did for him. There's still a little carbon scoring on it. It is heavy armor that is red and silver

Weapons:
Renegade Blaster Pistol
DLT-19 heavy blaster rifle that is often strapped to his back
Pair of Stun-cuffs

Abilities: Very experienced combatant. Able to understand and speak basic, Chiss and Weequay languages. Able to understand a small amount of Huttese due to his life in the pits and his time on Nal Hutta

Credits: 700 credits at the moment. He just had work done on his armor and had to do maintenance on a number of weapons.

Okay, so we should probably add stims and grapplers to our armory list, good additions, those.

@knighthawk
I don't know if an equipment limit is being imposed, but he is better equipped(or, more expensively in any case) than my character and the GM's.

@Gravislayer We should decide on that, to make sure everyone starts on equal footing, so to speak. That and whether vehicles are allowed. I just wanna make sure people have somewhere to go rather than starting with their ideal.

@Chev
What sort of armor is that that he wears? You can just say light/medium/heavy, or you can go into details, your call.

I added a few details to it. The armor is red and silver and is heavy armor. I'll try and find a picture for it.

Hello hello just got back from my movie visit~

[@knighthaw]

First off~ glad to see you here Knighthawk!
I like both of your characters but i am having a problem with the Rodian!
He started bounty hunting witht he age of 10? i know Rodian age faster than human but as far as i know they are considered young adults with the age of 15! i find 10 a tad too young~ I think i am fine with the air-speeder! If he has a nack to repair things, you could have easily scrapped one together from spare parts! Still i am a tad confused if you have a star ship or not~ If not...how did you moved the airspeeder? you know they aren´t build to leave an orbit?

Anyways the rest looks fine...even if i would prefer some less credits to your hands! But well getting a blaster rifle through a republican chekpoint nearly always end in bribery!

@Chev

Uff okey Chez, i think you exgerated a tad too much! So you got a heavy blaster.....a star ship....two vibro blades and a heavy armour!
Well the star ship is stolen...which would also get you in trouble with the guild depending from whom it is from! You know such star ships have ID´s and such.... it would give you instant trouble when entering a bigger not corrupted station! In Corusant it would diretly get snitched off of you! Unless you hide the ID...which would so directly mark you as an smuggler and carrying a big ass blaster pistol in addition...well a good way to say "Hello i want to loose all my credits to bribery!"

I would really like to welcome you to this rp if you could tone down your equipment a bit! My idea was that we still struggle with a system bounty all by ourself! A medium or lower planet wide bounty would be the perfect match for us! We will act as an team to be able to deal with the upcoming danger!

We aren´t Boba Fetts,Greedos or Voosks~ we are the medium shit working our way even past those names XD

Sounds good xD Sorry for over doing it. I'll fix that post immediately.

EDIT: Are the edits alright? I got rid of a few weapons and the star-ship.

So ichy to get this started~ I will make some quick changes tommorow! Might get atad messy since then i only will have acess to my Tablett!~ Yeah i know.... i need to get a PC or Laptop...but with time comes money right? RIGHT?

Oh and @Chev ~ it is more than good now! Like i said i will add some extra stuff tommorow! This will also include extra equipment! The equipment can be bought at the beggining of the rp~ i plan that we try to get to a guild outpost from time to time so we can restock!

Aaaanyways~ accepted!

@Sombrero~
Well hello there! Good thing you found the way here!

Since you really tuned down the force ability of your character i will accept the amphistaff as well as the lightsaber!

_______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Any wishes for the first mission? Otherwise i go with my idea first! If you want you can partly Gm your own ideas~

As for my ideas i have either some "pirates" in mind, who are a attacking an industrial sector~
Here we will be confrontrated with politics of a sector who can nearly make all the rules themself! Privat armies being not too uncommon!

Escorting an archeology squad to some "abadoned" ruins~
Here i will try to spice it up with some mystery and some glances into the Jedi-Sith-wars~

My third idea is placed around cloning~
Much feels! Much fight! Much WOW!

Please tell me what you would prefer!

@Prudence: Still room! If not we make two teams on the ground! Pretty sure we make two teams XD
One will be lead by me, the other by Gisk~

Yay! And yeah, the force won't be used very much as a power for Yski so much as it'll be an excuse as to "How is this legally blind non-jedi using a lightsaber and not killing himself!?" since lightswordsmanship is probably the only thing that goes well with his amphistaff skillset.

As far as missions go, I think idea 1 or 3 might be best.

Archaeology + Jedi/Sith stuff sounds like fun, but we should save it. Ahjan will very likely have some Force connection(wish I'd mentioned it before, but it should be obvious anyway) and I don't want him to have a chance to explore it for a while.

The pirate one sounds pretty cool, actually. It would give us a chance to work together, especially if we end up fighting in/against privatized armies.

Name: Prudii Kyramud
Age: 23
Gender: Male
Species: Human
Appearance:
Affiliation: Independent Mercenary
Background:

Early Life

Prudii was born on Mandalore to father Kronos Kyramud and mother Droma Kyramud. His father worked part time for MandalMotors while home, but worked primarily as a bounty hunter. His mother, too, worked at MandalMotors, and was a supervisor over starship design. The Kyramuds lived in compound like house that was rather large roughly 50 klicks south of Keldabe. The homestead was fortified to withstand an attack for a short period of time, and featured bunkers and reinforced walls, custom designed by Kronos himself incase one of his jobs ever followed him home. Prudii's father enlisted in the Republic Military against the sith, only to die in combat. Prudii, who had been training under his parents to become a warrior as well, was devastated by the loss of his father. At age 13 he passed his Verd'goten and was christened as a true Mandalorian. Shortly later when Prudii was 14, Droma Kyramud died of a respiratory infection from an accident with starship coolant at MandalMotors. This left Prudii emotionally scarred and alone on Mandalore. Running from the pain, and wanting to escape his traumatic past he left Mandalore with armor that had been fitted for him after passing his trials.

Time on Nal Hutta
Achute Bukee, uba ye wanya kouwahh, an kouiohe. «Hello Boy, you look weak, and cold.»

The words had been spoken to him by a Hutt that Prudii had been thrown in front of so many years ago. He had run away from Mandalore like a batt out of hell, and to the Outer Rim he had been flung. Like a bad piece of meat each world had spat him out, and to another world he had landed. One of those worlds he found himself on was 'Hutta, and on the plate of the Desajilics. Prudii had been dressed in rag tag armor. The least amount of plates possible to constitute as 'armor', a cheap blaster rifle, a an accurate shot had made him a cheap gun for hire, but the Hutts had seen something more than just a cheap gun.

Jee neu cuee ai wa becmi keepuna du uba. Jeejee caiot bapheu uba, jeejee caiot bapheu uba, jeejee caiot woy uba wa killee, hatkocanh uba doth chalanh du da? «I see more than a simple blaster in you. We can hone you, we can sharpen you, we can make you a killer, would you be interested in that?»

The Hutt had spoken in Huttese, and at that time Prudii hadn't understood a word of it. However there had been a poorly painted green protocol droid standing beside him that had earlier inquired about Prudii's native tongue, specifically mando'a or basic. Prudii had told him basic, and thus the droid had transferred all of the pertinent words from the Hutt into basic for him.

"I... I am.. yes..."

Those had been the words that sealed his fate for the next three plus years. It had been half a year before the Hutts had been able to use Prudii for anything profitable. Those months had been spent in training, converting the young thin boy into something more dangerous. Exercising him, training him, and outfitting him improved weapons and armor. Now here he was three years later, still in the service of the Hutts.

Prudii hopped on the first transport off world, which took him deep into the Outer Rim. There he bounced around, riding transport from world to world taking on small jobs. He made a bit of a name for himself as a hired gun with a lackluster moral compass. While bouncing around Prudii found himself on Nal Hutta. Shortly after arriving Prudii was hired by Majordomo Nor'baal for a series of debt collections and bounties. The Hutt was pleased with his results, and hired him on regular for a number of years for varying jobs between a bodyguard to a debt collector to a bounty hunter. While in Nor'baal's employment Prudii was trained by the Hutt's security specialists. Weapons were bought for him, and new armor pieces procured when he outgrew his previous pieces, imported from Mandalore.

Move to Chandrila
After years in the service of Nor'baal the Hutt paid for and secured him a spot on a transport ship bound for Chandrila, the capital of the Republic, where Prudii would grow in skill and begin taking on higher jobs. While on Chandrila Prudii purchased his first ship, using credits from his service to the Hutt, and from jobs on Chandrila. A Lethisk-Class Armed Freighter, christened The Nova. He had the ship outfitted to his very specific demands to fit his needs as a mercenary and bounty hunter. Upon staying on Chandrila for a short period Prudii rather self sufficient.

Prudii in his personality is a very walled veiled person. He usually carries a sarcastic aggressive attitude with him wherever he goes. This sarcasm and aggression that lies on the outside of his personality though, is just a defense mechanism. He developed the personality that he displays to the rest of the world. A cold, callused individual with little care for anyone or anything. He keeps most things pent up, which causes him to have a smoldering hate and short temper most of the time. Having been dealt massive emotional blows as a child Prudii is rather tender and sensitive on the inside. He's constantly trying to find something to fill the void his parents left. Prudii suffers from clinically diagnosed mild-moderate depression. Due to his gruff exterior he has difficulty getting close to people, and when he does his short temper and self destructive tendencies often push them away. This feeds his depression, which plagues him when he isn't working. A psychiatrist he has recently been visiting on Chandrila has advised him to develop more relationships with people, a task very daunting to Prudii.

Prudii has developed a rather bad drinking habit, and could be classified as an alcoholic. The drinking problem, like many of his other personality flaws, stems directly from the loss of his parents. He has difficulty getting close to anyone in his life, due to the aforementioned issues, which just goes to feed this alcoholism.

Prudii is a rather quiet person, and rarely is talkative or outgoing. he is professional on jobs, and a very serious person.

He also blames all force users for his death and the war. In his mind if there were no force users there'd be far less wars.

Ah, No. He was a wilderness guide once at 10, not unlike steve irwins daughter knew what to do and avoid with wild animals as a child. He started his apprenticeship at 10, not too uncommon in medival/rual practice. IT was most likely the most boring things for the first five years. Scrubbing everything, cleaning traps, taking the guns apart and putting them back together every day. The dozen chores that become core behavior for a bounty hunter.
But no problem tacking five onto his age, it wont break the character.
No space ship, he just loads the airship onto a cargo transport going to the next planet and unloads there.
You know, I don't know which would be harder, getting a pistol or a rifle through customs. Pistols are more dangerous because of their concealibility versus clunky rifles. Even the lowest farmer has a rifle to keep raiders away. And if you want less credits, no problem.

The thing is a tad more complicated since the lore is a bit loose here. They say blaster rifles are for military use mostly~and well I would believe that if the movies hadn't showed us otherwise! Now here we can either assume that some rim world like Tatooine wouldn't concern itself with that but even if doubt that! I bet there are other Planets which also does the same way as Tatooine! So now I think there are actually blaster rifles which are downgraded for the civilian use! They mostly have nothing more than a higher stun setting! Which could also be upgraded to kill someone.

Anyone can achieve a simple blaster and the tiny ones are originally created for civilians and believe me, there are enough energy scanners so you just can't hider away your blasters everytime! On the other hand a slugthrower pistol doesn't have any energy signals!

I mean a farmer blaster rifle can kill those ugly desert rats....Same can a air rifle...But a human is another league! And a bb-gun will not get confiscated at the airport....A huge AK47 will!

And raiders are only a problem in the outer rims....and they tend to give zero ducks anyways! Well until someone of us decides to show them a little law and order!
Most bounties are on the outer rims...which isn't surprising at all xD
