Trinity Stratos

Trinity's head turned as she heard the announcement, as though to punctuate Penny's statement to her. "Yes, right you are. I'll have to get something to eat on the way, it sounds like. And find myself an escort..."

Now, who could she bother to follow her around? Karn's probably seen enough of her face for now, so maybe- ah, there! The minstrel spotted a familiar figure heading downstairs, and she worked her way after Fleo.

Watching her movements, the minstrel put in for a breakfast muffin sandwich before she went to actually catch her past teammate. "Fleo~, would you mind if I asked you to be my escort today? I'm not supposed to be wandering around by myself, since... well, I'm popular, I guess." She was being somewhat evasive, and she glanced around before her eyes turned back to Fleo. She paused before taking a breath and continuing, "I can explain in more detail, but I'd rather not worry everyone during the festivites."

Cyare Staunton: Rising, Shining-Process-Starting

The groggy girl did not seem to be going away. She paid it no mind, at first, because there was only the one efficient route back to the central hub of the inn. If she was headed anywhere but her room, she would have had to follow the same route. So Cyare kept moving, headed towards the hot tub without glancing back. When she passed the main lobby and the girl was still there, though, she began to take slightly more note. So she slowed, as an experiment, to read a sign on one of the notice boards.

The other girl seemed perplexed a moment, but she slowed and pretended to read a different notice.

And resumed walking when Cyare did, after what was probably supposed to be an inconspicuous delay. Perhaps she thought the Tactical Mage hadn't noticed, but she had been counting. Exactly a five second delay. By this point, there was little doubt in her mind that the groggy girl's similar route was not a coincidence. So, when she reached the hot tub's area, she paused and turned around.

"Good morning, miss. Is there something I can help you with?"

Angel Ferrara

Man! I would suck as a secret agent!

He had known that tailing her like that without revealing himself was a bad idea, but had little other idea of where to find the hot tub in this place. The woman had carried herself with such assurance and poise that she had to know where the hot tub was, right!? Angel was just following the leader! At the same time, following people...clearly not the best of ideas. Any idiot knew that. How often had he and Kaia worried about being followed somewhere on the swathe they had cut on their journey? The least he could have done was be polite and introduce himself.

Plus it would have avoided...the thing. The miss thing. Again.

She's looking right at me...

"Uhhh...sorry. I mean, no offense. But you already did. I just...needed to know where the hot tub was, and you seemed like you knew where it was at. No shower with my rooms. Sorry I didn't ask. Just didn't want to seem like I was...cat-calling you or anything."

Angel blanched, then blushed, then finally subsided to his normal peach coloration again. He could do this. Normally, he would have been able to do this. But this girl was nearly as tall as him, and even though she carried a robe and towel like anyone seeking out a soak in a hot tub...Ferrara hadn't missed the fact that she'd brought a sword as well. How would Kaia ever find him if he were in chunks in a hot tub!?

"My name's Angel. Angel Ferrara. A...a boy." The slim young mage chewed on the right side of his lip and frowned anxiously. He found himself blushing again. "Sorry for the mixup. I know it's hard to believe."

Lux Harken

Lux stared at the empty coin pouch in front of him, an annoyed scowl on his face. They were out of money.

Again.

Did I get cursed and just never notice it?

The light mage looked over at his traveling companion. The found man was doing his best impression of a log, the signs of life a slight rise and fall of the covers. Normally Lux would wake him to prevent the lazy illusionist from sleeping till noon. Today however he figured he could let his companion sleep in a bit.

A hastily scrawled note on a piece of paper left on the nightstand later and Lux was gone from the room. He set out at a determined pace for a nearby bar. He had located the place a day or two earlier specifically for it's well stocked job board.

Say what you would about Lux's money curse, at least it was predictable.

Iron Enigma Team -- One Hour Ago
Luna took a deep breath as she looked up at the morning sun from the roof of the Iron Enigma Hotel. Being a Solar mage had the perk of that she never had to worry about staring at the sun too long. She gave that great big orb a small smile, one that quickly turned into a big beaming one. She felt its warm magic filling her up to the brim. She felt good this morning, and after a long moment she closed her eyes, feeling the soft flow of sunlight slide over her cheeks. Many envied her for being such a morning person while at the same time being able to stay up late into the night with little trouble.

The previous night, however, she had made sure to sleep well. While her thoughts of her guild troubled her, she managed to divert them long enough for the sandman to overtake her. This morning she had managed to wake up with only thoughts of the soft fire serpents and beautiful beasts of the moon that had oft offered her wisdom in her sleep, though she knew they were really only constructs of her own mind, she often felt their wisdom had brought her through so much in her life. They had offered no counsel that night however; they felt that they owed Luna enough to keep her thoughts free of the difficult choices that were inevitably laid out before her.

Luna sighed softly as she heard someone open the door, and she pulled her hood up. Light of the Eclipse As she finally drew her eyes from the sun, she found Solux squatting on the roof next to her. She rolled her eyes.

”Keh, staring at the dumb orb again, Loo-nah.” Said the masked man. His mask was still broken from the fight the other day, and his sickly smile was visible to all. Luna briefly contemplated offering to sew the smile on, but shivered as it occurred to her that he might actually take her up on the offer.

”It’s not a ‘dumb orb’. Without that thing none of us would exist, so I think it’d rather useful. Thank you.” She’d look away, and back towards the sun.

”You’re always worshipping that thing Loo-nah, yet you always cover your face in that velvet shadow.” His voice would go soft, almost sweet, as he reached the end of his sentence, and his hand would slowly reach out to touch her face. Luna scooted away so he couldn’t quite reach. ”I’ve never even seen it. Can I see your face some time Loo-nah?” She shook her head, and just as Solux opened his mouth to speak again, a voice came from below.

”Luna, it’s about time to head off towards the Arena, if we’re going to walk, that is.” Saved by the bell.

”I’ll be right down Mark.” She called back as she moved to the edge of the building. With a gentle push from her foot, she had disembarked from the two-story-tall building, and she let out a soft oof as she landed slightly wrong. Shaking herself, and taking a breath, she looked up at Mark, who was still looking up at Solux, who was clearly contemplating how to kill the sun.

”Please tell me you didn’t seek that creep’s company.” He said so that only she could hear.

”Of course not. He’s an ass.” Mark turned and raised an eyebrow at Luna. Cussing was not her normal modus operandi. Luna just gave him an ‘oh hush up’ look, and he chuckled softly in response. ”Where’s the rest of the team?”

”Grant’s already there, no clue who our newest substitution is, and Jacob doesn’t exactly take a long to get there as the rest of us.” Luna nodded, and turned towards the street they were to head down. ”I just wish we weren’t in the farthest nice hotel from the arena. The sights are nice and all, but by the time this is over I’ll never forget the path from this hotel to that thing they call an arena.”

”Who are you trying to kid? You’ve gotten lost there and back every time!” Luna looked up at him, but he just laughed and started walking. Luna kept up with his pace with ease. It was a while before there was anything else to be said.

”So, one of us is fighting today.” She stated softly. Mark shrugged.

”Both of us, judging by the reading Master Vale made me do. But that just means victory is guaranteed right? You’re second to one, and I’m the next one down the ladder.” Mark smiled at Luna softly, but she seemed unamused.

”Being cocky is how Grant almost lost.” Luna replied, her voice back to her normal cold monotone. Mark would sigh.

”Couldn’t of been the fact that teleporting enemies are really really hard to deal with. Or that the guy wouldn’t of been a cakewalk even without that ability.” Mark said, annoyance seeping into his voice.

”He could’ve done better than he did and we both know it.”

”I didn’t.” He retorted, growing sour.

The two did the remainder of the walk in silence, and when they reached the gates of the Arena Sheldon’s voice rang out, warning them is was only ten minutes to showtime. A minute later, one could see Jacob overhead.

”Didn’t get lost this time.” Mark said.

”No, you didn’t, which makes me think all those other times were on purpose.” Luna went inside with a sigh, waving to the the few of her guild members that were already there. They went up to their seats in silence, and Luna went and sat alone in the back row. She felt… Cold. Her thoughts about her guild hadn’t stayed away for long after Solux showed up. God he was a creep. Luna couldn’t figure out what his problem with her was though. Maybe some day she’d steal that stupid little black book of his, see him scramble and cry as he tried to find it.

"The only thing I want to be lord of is myself. For that reason, no matter what chains might be around me, I will not let them truly bind me." Joshua said, even though Jamie was likely out of earshot by now. "As for those you lost... well, at least you have the silver lining of getting someone you love back from the loss. Can you truly say that all of us are they lucky? Or are you blind to your own fortunes?"

Not waiting for another moment, he set off, ignoring the call for the games at the moment. He really could care less for them as things where right now. After wondering the streets for a while before spotting Amaya and Angelo in the distance. Deciding it would be best to see how to the two were doing, he went to following them, stopping once they entered the library. Curious, he dismissed his sword before entering and quickly finding the two.
"So, what are you two up to?" He asked, keeping his voice low.

"Mommy and daddy get back together?" Elyse asked.

"Yes dear. Would you like that?" Lucus asked, to which his daughter responded by nodding and giving her parent a big grin. Smiling himself, Lucus reached out and tickled Elyse, causing the girl to scream and begin laughing while trying to get away from his fingers.

Groaning, Amelia slowly sat up and began rubbing the sleep from her eyes.
"Come on in." She shouted back to Jamie.

She sighed when she heard the annoucement of the games starting soon ""Seems we need to get going I hope no one nearly kills the other today"She said getting up picking elyse up before she linked her arm with lucus's letting him lead the way

Thank you for the offer but ill need to learn more about medicine before I can even try it. Although what im thinking of actually doing will blind you at best or explode your eyeballs at worst if I do It wrong Angelo said with a shrug opening a book before he looked up to see Joshua coming over and asking what they were doing. Angelo smiled a little as Amaya explained things but Angelo wanted to add something "yeah but im taking what you said to heart im going to learn how to use my magic in a different way that wont require the energy of one of my larger lightning bolts. If im lucky and I train hard I wont ever need to use Mach 2" Angelo said with a smile since it was Josh who gave Angelo a talking to and essentially slapped him into realizing what he did.

You know, there are a few things I don't appreciate about life. I think I've made that fairly clear, but it's always smart to repeat what you know. They say it helps with memory. So yeah, there's plenty I'm not fond of when it comes to living on this world. I believe I've touched upon a particular category, too.

Illegitimate things. Ungenuine things. Lies. Deceptions that only exist to hurt, and even deceptions that exist to, in a sickening, misguided manner, help. I hate them all to the bone, and it's only corroborated by my seeing them day in and day out. They're a cancer upon society, growing, multiplying, and spreading unchecked at everything else's expense, crippling the entire system. It's as natural a response to hate them, in my mind, as it is to hate a horde of locusts, or a miasma of malaria or toxic gas. Their very existence is a terrible thing, and can destroy like nothing else.

So you'd think, then, that the peaceful, glorious, and absolutely amazing call of sleep would be a much-needed reprieve from a world inundated by what I hate. After all, sleep's the consciousness's retreat inwards, away from interacting with any other person's facades and machinations. Should be paradise, right?

That's the thinking that would cow and hold great power over the uninitiated. But I'm initiated, aren't I? A member of the League of Solitude, oxymoronic in name and powerless against the hands of fate.

No, sleep is probably where the worst lies of all come. I appreciate the rest and relaxation. I appreciate the rejuvenation of my body and organization of thoughts and memories after a long day.

But I have a love-hate relationship, as it were, with dreams. I won't lie, I'm probably at my happiest when I experience them. However:

Of my own accord, I rose from my bed, groggily looking around a room I couldn't quite identify. That was strange, I could have sworn I'd been in club all but two seconds ag—

...

That moment, right there, is where I always end up cursing the very existence of dreams. People who believe nightmares to be bad, to be a torment, don't look at the big picture in any capacity. Nightmares are brief periods of fear that you wake up from, and that's it. It's over, the bad things are done, and a sense of relief washes over you.

"Good" dreams on the other hand, they show you a different world. A place where you have friends you can count on, fantastic situations to topple with ease or a spirited, victorious struggle, power beyond your wildest dreams, or love from an ideal partner. A positive take upon a world, a place you'd always much rather be, having the understanding that, yes, this is a great time, with great people, and great things happening to you and around you. And then, much like the bad dreams, you wake up from them. And that's it. The good things are done.

"Fuck."

I hope it's clear just how much crueler one is than the other. What's really more painful, honestly? Pain and then relief? Or relief tailed by pain? By longing? By wishing for something that doesn't exist, that never existed, that was all just a lie you told to keep your mind entertained while you slept?

I thought so.

Rolling out of the bed proper, I looked over to Lux's.

Gone. Of course. Rising early to get morning training or whatever in's probably ingrained so hard it's a quarter of his identity at this point. No surprise there. I could already guess what the note said, too. It was right around the time where we were to be running low on pooled spending cash, so I had it at pretty good odds he was at the job board we'd waded through a throng to find two days ago. Hopefully, he'd pick something easy, but realistically, he wasn't going to when he could shoot for glory and save as many people as possible from something like a dragon.

I looked to my sword.

Since I was gonna do a job one way or the other, I supposed I should be prepared to do it quickly and efficiently, to minimize time and energy wasted on it.

And that meant keeping a katana, which I'd learned requires more care than I'd say it's worth, in top condition, as well as myself.

...Breakfast first, then. Empty stomach is a shitty stomach.

I wandered downstairs to the inn's first floor.

Cyare Staunton: Not An Enemy, Then?

"Oh." The Tactical Mage uttered the single syllable calmly, processing all of the information this 'Angel' had offered up quickly and efficiently. Up close, it was much easier to tell that she he was male. The indicative traits were largely obscured at a distance, but at this range they were self-evident. His story checked out as well, offering up a perfectly acceptable explanation for why he had been following her. A story sold, in part, by the authenticity of the nervousness involved in answer. Her hand subtly shifted back up the scabbard towards the hilt of the blade, away from the positioning for a Mordhau strike it'd been in. "Alright. My apologies."

She turned in a fluid motion and continued approaching the tub, leaning her sword against the wall adjacent and depositing her towel on a chair. The robe joined it. She'd already changed into her swimsuit in her room, so she just needed to remove the loose shirt and pants so they didn't get wet when she stepped in.

"Carry on with whatever you were up to, then."

His poor lip was going to split at this rate - and not entirely out of nervousness, if his unknowing guide followed her current trajectory unhindered. Angel eyed her sword slightly and pushed his hair back over his eyes, to cover the gaze. To be blind like Kaia right about now...!

"I, uh. Sorry ma'am. I was going to the hot tub. I shouldn't crowd it for my own lack of foresight."

As if to shield himself with a suit of actual armor, Angel pulled his collar up further around his neck, disguising his slim throat...so easily crushed...or slit...or maybe hung from the doorframe and made to look like an accident oh god get off this line of thought Ferrara.

"Or inconvenience you any more just for the bad luck to get yourself followed."

Kaia Iona

"Idunwannna."

A few more minutes of rolling around among two layers of blankets to fend off the demons of Sunshine and Morning ended up with her face up towards what she assumed to be the ceiling, scowling at the sky some floors above. She should probably have gotten moving by now, if only to make sure Angel hadn't gotten lost or wrapped up in conversation with a nice old couple unable to find a way out in his infinite politeness. Right, the note. That wasn't too much of an issue, she could reasonably recognize his hand writing through texture alone, and there had to be at least one other person with working eyes in this inn if it came to it.

With a heave, Kaia let her legs drop to the floor and pulled herself upright, taking a moment to gather her wits after transferring from "quite nearly dead" to "up and walking undead" frames of reality. A few moments of shuffling around the still-pretty-unfamiliar room yielded good results, and she found the note that her hand had swiped away before. Though a glaring hole in her initial plan started to show through as she ran a hand over the paper's surface. Crumpled paper.

Alright plan B then.

Kaia stuffed the note in a safe place, before locating their travel bags and throwing on something presentable to wear.

Taking a breath, she prepared herself for the outside world, and the eventual quest of finding someone. Kaia opened the door, and prompted stepped into a someone.

Oh perfect.

That was... easier than expected.

"Hey are you blind?"

Cyare Stauntin: Morning Relaxation

"Whatever you wish." The traveling mage was entirely unconcerned, and didn't bother sparing Angel a glance while she finished discarding her belongings. Everything went into a neat, ordered pile where she could get to it easily without necessarily getting out of the tub. Her towel, in particular, was kept nice and close to hand. She sank into the tub herself a second later, in up to her neck and resting the back of her head on the edge.

Kaitlyn DeRoe | Secluded park in Crocus
@Zarkun

"This is Durandal, the Dragon Tooth Blade. I got it forged up the coast aways with the help of a black smith who still had some tomes on using magic to forge things. The shaping of the tooth took two days and coating it in a metal that could resist the inherit poison in the tooth about five days of testing and two of actually coating, it's a steel-titanium combination. To shorten the story, it was about a week long process. And I got the tooth from the dragon who raised a member of our guild, Zero."

As Damian spoke, Kaitlyn simply had a starstruck expression on her face as her eyes lit up with stars. Although it was sad to hear the end fate of the dragon, she was also intrigued to hear about the story behind Durandal.

"Guess that attempt to make the mood lighter back fired, eh? In any case, I'm fine. Just out here to make sure I'm not rusty without worrying Jamie any. How are you this fine morning?"

Kaitlyn jumped in excitement about her current thought when Damian asked about her morning. "Excited as always! Especially since I saw your sword a few minutes ago. Seeing it made me wish I found you before you had a blacksmith work on it. I'm sure you're already aware of my magic." Her eyes began to glow and a heart formed in her pupil. The grass that Damian flattened vanished, only to be replaced by three grass blades that struck into the earth as they crossed each other. "I can't even imagine what I could make from a dragon's tooth. Actually... now that I think about it, I suppose it's already a weapon and that would defeat the purpose of how I use my magic. But anyways, at least you were given a good bye gift. Not everyone can pull their tooth out and hand it as a gift. So it's nice that you still have a part of him with you." Kaitlyn heard the announcement about the games starting in about ten minutes. Once the announcement finished, the grass blades vanished and she waved good bye with her usual warm smile. She simply skipped away and said "Good luck on the games today."

Angel Ferrara

Angel had fought monsters and animals frequently, in another life. Flung into an environment that would be unfamiliar for any young boy, especially one with the pain of a father lost too soon, he couldn't have been expected to have survived to see his eighth birthday, let alone his eighteenth. So as polite a young man as he was, so heartbeat-skippingly earnest and sweet that a blind girl had mistaken her for another traveling maiden on the road through Fiore, at Ferrara's core was unflinching steel that he carried through life without fear, complaint, or braggadocio - the solid center and implacable will it took to keep moving through life at all costs.

But Cyare Staunton in a swimsuit had frozen him in place.

"I..."

Angel, sweetheart. You have traveled some dark and tumultuous roads in your time. Don't take this one.

"...I..."

Steady lad!

"...better now than before I eat breakfast."

No! I mean yes! Technically that's the correct choice for your health, but nooo!

Angel shuffled through his belongings and arranged anything valuable in a small pile, which he then buried safely under his top layers. When satisfied, he took a step into the tub and lowered himself quietly, trying (and half-failing) to look anywhere but Cyare.

"M'Angel..." he murmured awkwardly, forgetting, perhaps, that he had already introduced himself.

Penny
@Lunarlors34[@CirusArvenicus]
What was it about her that made people think she was going to kick a puppy? Penny wondered as Cody seemed positively frightened of her. "This isn't mess. We've made more mess on jobs, don't worry about it" She said, "the hotel probably expects damages anyway" She managed a smile, glancing about the foyer to see if all the game participants were there.

"She's been with me. We were going to see if we could find her parents today, I'm sure they are worried about her" Penny said to Cody, looking back, as Trinity made her way to get some food, "Hey, Trinity, if Angelo hasn't got anyone to stick with him, take him with you, okay? I don't think he should be running around by himself, either" She had no idea if Angelo was with anyone else or not, she was just trying to cover all bases to keep everyone relatively safe.

Carrie and Michael
@oblivion666
Before Zephyr had even reached the end of the hallway, a hand fell on his shoulder, revealing Uriel. "You're willing to leave Michael with a powerful woman, when he is barely able to speak to anyone he doesn't know?" While Michael had been improving in leaps and bounds with social activities, this was perhaps pushing it a bit.

Carrie found it almost amusing that Zephyr took the first chance to flee, but her expression was still Stoic. when it all seems to matter, we run from what scares us. Do we run to flee, or to fight? Carrie thought to herself as she watched the tall, blue haired mage apparently freeze, colour flushing his cheeks and his eyes looking to the ground, as if he didn't know where to look. He appeared to be half a boy still. Innocent. She wondered how long that would last. Oh, but there was pain there. Everyone had pain in one way or another.

Michael didn't even have time to argue with Zephyr before he was running off. Michael had no idea what he was meant to do, and he shifted nervously, feeling like he was being scrutinized by this woman. "I'll ah, I'll just..." leave he thought to himself, "I'll....I'll leave you to it, then".

Master Jamie
@Joshua Tamashii
Jamie made the way back to Amelia's room, entering, seeing that Amelia wasn't exactly up. She sighed wearily, "You better get dressed. I have to pull you into the games again, and as much as Penny will hate it, I have to pull her into. Can't exactly have Angelo in anymore, and who knows where Maddox is. He tends to do his own thing" Jamie had long since decided that she couldn't force Maddox to tell her where he went. The teleportation mage tended to just...blink away.

"That is, if you wish to be in the again" Jamie said softly, not wishing to force Amelia into the games, especially as she had got hurt in them before.

Joshua frowned after Amaya and Angelo were done explaining and walked over to the table Angelo was sitting at. He looked at the books Angelo was reading before picking one up and examining the contents. Snapping the book shut, he hit Angelo on the head with it's spine, hard enough to hurt the boy but gentle enough for the pain to go away in seconds.
"Baka. If you're going to desperately search for an answer that isn't you, you'll accomplish nothing. You need to find a way to remain yourself but not put others at risk. I made a mistake a long time ago with my magic and someone paid a very big price for it. I ended up paying to, but not as much as them. It took me YEARS to learn how to still do what I do but avoid making that mistake without holding back. At least not entirely." He said. Smiling a bit, he put the book back on the table. "All of this will only help you a bit. Your best teacher is experience. Your best asset is humility. Your best confidants, the friends around you. Don't rely what you find in these things but rather what others tell you. Find another mage familiar with lightning magic and have them teach you. However, never betray who you are in exchange."

Lucus Griffonbane

@Amaya Yashia

Lucus smiled as he led Rose out of the hotel, holding onto Elyse's hand as she walked between them. He never thought he would get a second chance at this. Hell, he never thought he would see Rose ever again, after what Lyon and Jackie had done to them. But he had and now they were back together, with a daughter no less. Really, one could not ask for more then this. He knew so long as the three of them were together, they would always be happy.
"I hope not either. Sadly, the Games are kind of warped. Their meant to show that magic can be good but they put us in gladiatorial fights. To me, that only accomplishes the opposite." He said.

Amelia Averyonna

@caits

Amelia shook her head, trying to get the sleep out of her system. She still managed to hear what Jamie said, but it took a few seconds to process. Once it had though, she smiled before getting out of bed.
"Of course I'll accept. I want to help the guild as much as I can. I'm not sure I'll accomplish much though." She said, briefly losing her smile but quickly gaining it back. "Still, I'm sure I'll accomplish something. Just give me a minute to get ready, I'll be right out."

Angelo growled a little when he hit him in the back of the head and explained that Angelo shouldn't change who he was and that the best teacher was experience. Angelo then flicked his forehead when he finished "your the idiot, im not desperately searching for a new way to fight but damn it cant I learn about using my abilities more effectively? Besides who do we know that uses lightning magic like me that isn't going to hate my guts after what I pulled at my fight? If you know someone then ill be glad to learn from them but right now im trying to learn every possible way I could take someone down without resorting to my trump card that is Mach 2" Angelo said really getting annoyed with getting hit lately as he rubbed his head gently and reopened the book to look through it

Cyare Staunton: Relaxation Intensifies

"You mentioned." The wizard's eyes, by this point, were three quarters closed while her head was leaned way back to support itself on the tub's back. Angel's presence seemed as unoffensive as his lack of presence had been, so she didn't really have any reason to adjust anything. She could tell where he was without looking; the disturbance in the water and the sound of his voice (and breathing) were both suitable indicators of his location. The perceptiveness merely being able to process everything her senses told her caused was quite helpful, even in situations like this.

"You have not suffered a head injury in the previous three minutes, have you? That would be awfully inconvenient."

@Joshua Tamashii
"I remember father told me about how the dragonslayers were considered evil for centuries because of zeref and how at one point it was either hide your magic or be forever branded as an outcast for knowing magic because of those who feared magic and its uses...it is strange to once be that way to the way magic is today in nearly every home"rose replied as she held elyse's free hand heading for the arenahoping that today would go by quickly and that no one attempts to kill another and she hoped no one would attempt to randomly attack her on the streets like that strange girl and guy did yesterday,

"Joshua, be nice to him atleast he is attempting to change compared to just saying that he will change but he never did. he has to figure this out his own way whether it is through a book or another lightning mage" she said gently lightly pushing him as she double checked where joshua hit him. as it was purely out of old habit to make sure anyone who got even a light bummp to be checked.
