“Truth be told, many bands brake up, but that just means they weren’t families. Weather we’re a team or a band doesn’t matter to me. As long as we rock out to our fullest and render the competition to their knees. I’m ok with whatever we call ourselves,” Seth said. When West mentioned he was ready to preform whenever and wherever. Seth laughed and added, “That’s the spirit.”

“Well princess, if you’re not comfortable with the team now. It’s ok,” Seth said before he continued, “it’s not like we’d hit it off the first time we introduce ourselves. Besides, if you’re worried about sharing a room with two guys. I’m sure West won’t do anything and as for me. You’re really not my type.” Seth looked around the cafeteria and smiled.

“Look at this place! You could hold a massive rock battle here and still have room for half the city to fit,” Seth said. Impressed at the sheer size of the room. Seth laughed at Viviane’s comment about following their example. He shook his head and added, “You might want to follow West’s or Cowgirls example when dealing with something like this.
I’m not sure you can handle my eating habits.” Seth took a tray and got in line. He immediately took and empty bowl before taking two burgers, French fries, onion rings, a bowl of chili, and two containers of mozzarella sticks.

"Ha, well I'm ready to be a family whenever you all are. I mean we're going to be stuck together for a few years, so getting the drama out early is fine with me. Unless we don't have any drama and then I'm even more fine." West was pretty trusting of people and pretty hard to annoy. He tended to just like everyone somehow. Even three people as different as the three in his team. He thought about how different all of his team was when classified. They had a shrine maiden, a cowgirl, a hard rocker, and a knight. He hadn't been called that to often, but his love for the lance did come after watching a jousting tournament. West was also very glad to hear that Seth just wanted to rock hard, which he interepretted to do well in the school.

He remained silent as Seth mentioned not doing anything. He had already put himself in a hole earlier on that subject. He knew he wouldn't do anything like that to either of them, but he couldn't say that they weren't his type. He wasn't really sure what his type was. He liked girls and both of his new roomates were rather attractive. They both seemed nice as well. He wasn't too worried about relationships now though. If anything happened it happened, but he needed to make sure becoming a hunter came first. He wanted to be the best and his own teamate was going to make that difficult.

The room was as large as Seth described, but West only cared that the buffet was large enough to match it. West didn't care about food that much and would forget meals often, but when he did take time to eat, he ate a lot. West continued off of the help Seth gave. "Ha, yeah, you don't have to take what we take, but the way this works is you start here with the tray and walk along the food, once you see something you like, you take it. It's sort like preparing a meal, but it's for yourself, and these are the ingredients you get to work with. Things like chiken sandwhiches and quesadillas and orange chicken and shrimp and crab and pasta alfredo and mozzarella sticks and onion rings and pineapple and peppers and brauts and rice and pecan pie and sweet potatoes and..." West didn't realize that he had wandered off simply naming the foods he was taking and occasionally combining and smothering in various sauces. His eyes were bigger than his stomach at times, but not often. He found a seat with a tray full of food that was separated as best he could. He had several plates, bowls and cups barely holding his food on his tray, and at times he just put his serving on the tray itself. He only took a small portion of everything he took, but a common problem he faced at buffets was the desire to try everything. He began inhaling his food, taking note of the others meal choices and their conversation as well.

As the group entered the cafeteria they were welcomed by a variety of smells from all the different kinds of food. Celia gazed at all the food at buffet "Whoa, well I knew they offered a lot and that the canteen was huge but I didn't expect that!".
Just like her teammates she also lined up, thinking about what she should pick. Maybe a burger and some french fries? No, what about a chicken sandwich and some mixed salad? Mmmh.. though choice.. Then Celia spottet something she always wanted to try but never got the chance.
She took her seat diagonal to West. On her tray she had a quite large Wiener Schnitzel with French fries, a slice of lemon and ketchup. "I didn't know they offer this as well, I heard that it tastes awesome but I never got to actually try one myself."

Vivianne watched as her teammates took from the buffet and moved over to a table together, before she, too, followed in their footsteps. Arriving at the table, Vivianne had what could only be described as a mountain of salad, vegetables and fruits, with a whole range of things on the side. She wanted to try the things her comrades had also picked out, so took one or two portions of each of their things, plus her healthy meal as well. Though she was all for nutrition, Vivianne knew first-hand that one cannot always afford to eat what they want and luxuriously. She was going to make sure she ate healthy for all her time at Beacon, though hoped to find some tasty treats her comrades also appreciated throughout the year.

"Sorry for taking so long. It was difficult remembering what you all had." Vivianne apologizes, taking a seat next to West. The two surely had a lot to eat between themselves. "I decided on trying what you all usually have, as well as my, erm, personal tastes. I try to eat as healthy as possible to help maintain top physical fitness and physique, but I can understand the need to experiment with one's appetite to find other things that may be appealing - snacks, treats and other such commodities. Everything is good in moderation, as they say, and keeping balanced is a good thing. If any of you require or wish to try anything from my plate, feel free to pick it out."

With that said, Vivianne began sampling from the various new foods she had acquired from the others' taste. She was surprised at the uniqueness and tastiness of each of the meals, as well as how filling each one seemed to be. It took her a little longer than usual, having to watch how the others ate their foods in order to better appreciate the meal, though she soon found herself finishing the first half of her meal. Wiping some stray tomato sauce from the burger she ate last from her mouth, Vivianne smiles at the many empty plates before her, as well as her still standing pile of healthy foods.

"Ah, that certainly was refreshing... I enjoyed that quite a bit. Especially that schnitzel thing, that was really nice. Thank you for assisting me in my endeavors to try new foods. I found the experience exotic and enjoyable." Vivianne bows slightly to her companions, before turning her attention to the colossal amount of greens that lay on her plate. "Now, time to swallow it all down with some-"

Out of nowhere, Vivianne lets out a tiny burp, making her turn a shade red. The hiccups that ensued didn't help her situation, either. "W-West, would you mind *Hiccup* p-passing me some water? *Hiccup*"

Johnny ran to the kitchen counter but noticed that there was no cook present. He looked to his left side and saw a vending machine on the wall. With big steps he moved towards the machine and hugged it.

"Thank god. Something to eat!!!"

Johnny took out some coins and put it into the machine. A bag of crisps fell down from the top row. With the bag in his arm, he sat down on a chair next to the entrance, where Alice waited for him.

"Hey life saver. Take a seat. I think we should talk".

He opened the crisps and took one.

While chewing he asked Alice:

"So, Alice. Where are you from? Why are you attending this school?"

West took a break from eating to chuckle at Celia's schnitzel and again later to laugh at Vivianne's hiccups. He went ahead and passed her one of his cups of water. He had three, so sparing one shouldn't be bad. They were certainly intresting to eat with. Vivianne ate about as much as he did. Sure her pile of greens was much larger than his, but she also spoke about keeping things balanced.

"I try to keep things balanced too. That's why I eat a little bit of everything. That's balanced right?" He was completely ignoring the fact that there were several stations of meats, grains and deserts, while their were only a few vegetable and fruit stations. "I also try to drink a lot of water at my meals or actually just as often as I remember too. The body needs nutrients, but it needs a way to carry all of the nutrients too. I also like to make sure it's used, so in a few hours, I'm going to want an evening run."

As he finished his meal he chugged his milk and cranberry juice and followed it all down with his two glasses of water. Feeling very full and a little gross, he went to get more two more glasses of water. Partially because he wanted to keep washing it all down and partially because he was trying to walk it off. He got back to the table and sat down again casually drinking at his water now. It still went quickly as he took a few gulps every minute, but soon enough he finished his water and everyone had finished eating as well. It seemed like they were mainly waiting on Vivianne and himself.

Once Seth sat down, he began dismantling the two burgers into the bowl. He then poured the fries, Onion Rings, and Mozzarella sticks into the bowl before covering them all with chili. He took his fork and mixed them all together before he began to eat.

“Well, if you’re worried about eating a balanced meal. I’d suggest not getting what I get because I could care less. I need all the food I can get to keep up my energy for the performance,” Seth said before he stuck his fork into the mixture of food and ate another fork full. He reached to his Soda and popped it open before he chugged it down and belched.

Seth finished his first bowl and left the table to get more. This time, when he came back, he had added mushrooms from the salad bar along with two burgers, French fries, onion rings, a bowl of chili, and two containers of mozzarella sticks. He did the same thing before and dumped all the food into the bowl and mixed them together before eating.

“I have to say this place has everything,” Seth said before he opened another soda and downed it before he continued,
“However, do they really need that big of a salad bar? It’s not like we’re feeding a mess hall of rabbits.”

Vivianne gratefully accepts the cup of water, drinking the contents of which in small sips - a huge contrast to her eating habits just moments before. She always imagined it helped with hiccups if you drank some water slowly. It always worked for her, at least, and worked once again this time.

Once that situation had been cleared up, she narrows her eyes at Seth as he spoke of the salad bar. "Salad is vital to one's physical wellbeing and health. And need I remind you that there are, in fact, rabbit-like Fauni here as well?" Vivianne points out, though not with the intention to provoke him, as her words and tone might've suggested. More of a factual listing that sounded a little... wrong.

"Seriously... I feel like I'm going to have to oversee your meals so that you all eat properly..." The purple-haired princess sighs and shook her head, though soon came to realise something: if she didn't hurry up, she'd be left behind! Noticing this, the wielder of Durandal starts eating at her plate in small yet nimble strikes, as though imitating a ninja.

A stoic expression befalls Varian. Eyes darting at Jaeger sharper than obsidian allowing the engine's hum to fill in. "She still is hesitant, after all this time. Perhaps I should pay her a visit." He fixed the collar of his coat and observed the Window again. A tall, silvery structure shadowed the surrounding district of Vale. The helicopter rose up to the top of the tower, making slow approach towards the designated helicopter pad as to not cause imbalance. Two people were strolling towards the pad wearing semi-casual apparel with soldiers forming up beside them to make passage. The two was a Blonde man with a powered backpack on him and a woman with an exceedingly large sword by her hand.

The Helo touched down with the soldier inside with them sliding the doors open, winds blowing immediately as the blades continued its decelerating rotation. He allowed Jaeger to step off the plane first before him after undoing his seatbelt. "Eager to see us both eh? Ruger and Aurelia?" He took a quick moment to address the other soldiers. "At ease, soldiers! Return to your posts and await further instructions."

The mass of soldiers began to leave the rooftop, leaving wild winds and the empty helicopter around them as the members of VJRA communed. "So, what is it that you want to do Varian?" Ruger crossed his arms with a palm stroking his chin. "You've kept your agenda secret for many years and we haven't seen any of your work bear fruit." Varian turned to Aurelia.

"Doesn't matter." She quickly spoke. "Varian probably has a plan already in mind. Why don't you just tell us them now and be done with it?" She adjusted her grip on her sword while Varian continued to place his head high.

"This is neither the time or place, but it is close. I will need to speak with your science team Ruger, assemble them with the General present at the conference room. I'll meet the two of you there as per usual." He points to Jaeger and Aurelia. "I will announce the conference soon." He walks in between them towards the building and called the elevator to descend.

"We'll meet again soon..."

The elevator doors opened and Varian stepped inside the pod, pressing the level marked as 'S' several levels below and descended into a quiet serene tunes of music. His eyes observed the glowing numbers and letters that appeared on the screen with a silent sigh. It seems that it cannot be avoided. He lowered his head and watched the floor of the door opening to a short, white hallway. He tirled his head back behind him to see the elevator doors still open.

Alice grabbed a chair and sat next to Johnny just minding her own business. That was till Johnny had asked her "Where are you from? Why are you attending this school?" Alice took some time to think about her answer. "Well I don't know exactly where I am from, but I know I lived in house in field with my parents. Also the reason I'm attending this school is I want to do good in this world, and I guess becoming a huntress would accomplish that goal." after that she lost her train of thought and was just blankly staring at the air. Alice then knew what to say next "So where did you come from, and why are you attending this school?"

Johnny listened to Alice as she told him her history. He leaned back, stuffed his mouth with crisps and shook his head.

"What do you mean you don't know where you come from ? STRANGE", yelled Johnny and ran his fingers through his hair.

"We are similiar because we have the same goal. We are seeking peace and justice".

The room was silent for 5 seconds...

Johnny stood up, threw his bag of crisps on the ground and starred Alice right into her eyes. He put his right hand on her head and said:

"Princess, I kinda like you. I don't say this to everyone so see it as a compliment. My life was rough so I hope I can count on you, if I need your help. I can tell you my story later because I think it's not the right time for it now".

He ruffled her hair and jumped on the table.

"Next 4 years we're comming" and pointed to Alice.

"So do you have any plans? What are we doing now?", he asked Alice while holding his hand towards her because he wanted her to jump on the table too.

From said elevator doors came Jaeger, obediently following and not saying the word, the cursed ninja. It had become a bad habit of hers to sneak around when in Varian's presence, or to remain silent unless spoken to, since she preferred to listen to him. It was somewhat of a stalker-ish habit, and she knew it, but she couldn't help herself. Watching him eye her as she exits the elevator, Jaeger gasps, having not expected him to turn around and spot her so suddenly.

"O-oh, uh, I just felt like following you... Is that OK with you, Varian?" She had the faint urge to call him 'sir', but thought better of it. It would be embarrassing if he picked up on it, especially now, of all times.

His gaze was inconsequential towards Jaeger. "I don't see any reason to tell you off. Accompany my stroll then." His entire body faced forward across the hallway that revealed a series of doors and medium-sized room entitled to the higher-ups of the Group. The intersections were numerous and took time for him to return to. He had been mostly silent along his way-- Always had been from the very beginning. Jaeger makes for a different case. Her constant presence had eased him more than enough times to immediately unwrap that silent and calculating engine of determination. "Have you ever thought about the state of Dust in Vale?" He eyed every single door and sign in front of their path. "I assume that you know the history of Dust. I am only asking you the question of its existence-- How they came to be." It was an answer that no one had an answer to. It was a question worth a debate. A question worth of action and research. "Sorry, I'm babbling again." He shook his face in refreshment. "Onto a more lighter mood... How's the family back home? I hope the present I sent wasn't too extravagant."

Seth shrugged and gulped down the rest of his Soda before he said, “It’s not like I called them anything wrong. Just asking. Besides, I got nothing wrong with Faunas.” He burped and went back to eating. He looked up from his bowl when Vivianne talked about overseeing their meals. He nearly choked on his food before he coughed several times.

“Hell no!” Seth said before he pointed his fork at Vivianne and added, “There’s no way in hell I’m giving up the food I love to eat properly. I’d rather face a pack of Beowolves without Nirvana then do that. Besides, I have a high metabolism so I can rock out longer.”

“You seem like a nice chick Princess, but don’t go saying things like that. You’ll bring down team morale,” Seth said before he ate the rest of his food and sighed as he leaned back in his chair. He let out a belch before he said, “Damn, I’m going to love this place.”

Seth heard someone yelling and when he turned he saw some kid had jumped on his table and was yelling like he was revving up a crowed at a concert. Seth smiled for a second until the kid called his partner princess.

“Hey, kid! The only princess here is her,” Seth yelled at Johnny as he pointed to Vivianne before he added, “I’d suggest you remember that next time because with me and the rest of the band. We’ll rock this school to its core. So why don’t you stop while you’re ahead, because.” Seth suddenly got up from his chair and jumped on to the table.

“I’m the only one here who’s allowed to rock the crowds here,” Seth said before he added, “Well; me and Nirvana anyway. So sit down before a true rock star shuts you up.”

Alice was at a lost for words when Johnny spoke. It was as if her entire brain just hit the erase all button causing her to be unable to say anything. For about a good minute or so she just stood there staring on Johnny standing on the table holding his hand out for her. With every so often letting out a "Uh" or sometimes a "Hmm." Finally she knew what to say but she was quickly cut off as a student started to yell at Johnny, and to be honest it didn't seem to pleasant. Seth was mad about Johnny calling her 'princess' and so now he was ranting on and on, and eventually Alice knew what to do in a time like this.

She took Johnny's hand and used it to help her up on the table she turned and faced Seth. "Leave him alone!" she yelled at Seth. "He can say whatever he wants when he wants and no one can stop him. Not even someone who thinks just because they have a guitar means they're a 'rock star.' Alice couldn't help what she said the words were just pouring out and she couldn't stop them. She really didn't want to be mean but someone was being mean to her new 'friend' and she didn't want to stand there and do nothing.

"Leave him alone!" she yelled at Seth. "He can say whatever he wants when he wants and no one can stop him. Not even someone who thinks just because they have a guitar means they're a 'rock star.'

"Oh damn. Apply cold water to the burned area", yelled Johnny as Alice tried to help him against this poseur.

Johnny looked around and spotted Seths teammates. They watched this spectacle but didn't say anything.

"Hey ho", said Johnny and waved towards Celia, Vivianne and Weston.

"Could you please take care of your 'dog'? We dont want anyone to get hurt, right?, said Johnny and smirked to Seth. Johnny turned around and waved with his right hand.

"Not today my little friend. We have plenty of time to 'play'. This year just started", spoke Johnny as he walked towards Alice.

He picked her up like a doll, cause she was light as a feather and jumped with her off the table. With Alice in his arms he walked towards the entrance of the cafeteria. He looked a little bit stressed and confused but shook it off because he tried to carry her, gently as possible, out of this hall.

"Thank you for supporting me. I'm glad I can trust you. Let's get out of here!"

However, as the couple (Alice and Johnny) attempt to leave, they find a peculiar sight: a giant sword had been thrown just above the entrance, causing it to crack as it had impaled straight through the stone.

If either of the two chose to look, it wouldn't be very hard to figure out just who threw that sword. "Though he may be a little rough around the edges, Seth is not a dog, by any means, nor a wannabe rock star. First and foremost, he is my comrade, and as a fellow member of Beacon, I respectfully ask for you to apologise."

Despite the cool demeanour she was giving off, Vivianne was pissed. She wasn't quite sure exactly herself, but she didn't like it when others were harsh towards those she had a growing bond with. "And miss? I suggest you think before you speak - that's a sure-fire way to get yourself kicked out of Beacon, saying what you want, when you want, without any thought behind the words in which you speak. Now..."

She stands up and walks over to the entrance, jumping up and removing the sword from the wall with a powerful tug, before sheathing it on her back once more. "On behalf of Seth, I apologise; he's a very outgoing person and likely didn't mean what he said as harmful or hurtful to either of you. Now, in the name of the Light Gaia, would you mind apologising, if not to him, then to me?"

"I still don't know why you even got them a new car! They love it, yes, but it's a bit much..." Jaeger sighs, coursing her fingers through her hair as she walks alongside him through the halls. "But to answer your question, Varian... I always imagined Dust was a natural resource - something that came to be with the creation of Remnant. Of course, with a world like ours, we're really left to our own imaginative speculation to decide whether that's true or false, though. Well, unless it's proven where it all comes from. Though I feel like if it's a natural resource, we'll burn through it like a burner to butter if we get the chance..."

With big eyes starred Johnny at the wall. Viviannes power impressed him but he looked a little bit nervous and ... scarred. Gently let Johnny Alice to the ground. He looked towards Vivianne and spoke:

"You must be Vivianne, right? Or should I call you princess too, because thats how this troublemaker called you."

He tried to understand why this girl had such a impulsive personality and why it changed this fast but he thought it would be the best if he would apologize for his behaviour.

"This 'poseur' was rude to me, so I was rude to him. But if YOU ask me this way I will apologize for my behaviour. It's better to end the day with a new friend and not with a new enemy. Am I right, Vivianne?"

He bow down and hoped that she will forgive him.

West was pretty shocked to watch the whole thing go down, but he was certainly ready to back up his team as well. It seemed as though Vivianne solved the problem, though rather aggressively. Many words were spoken and he was ready for several things. Fortunately only words would be spoken today. No rock battle, food fight, or even real fight for that matter broke out.

West followed Vivianne to the entrance and watched her dislodge her sword. He wondered with such strength how hard she could throw him. Between her throw and his jump, he could race bullets.

He extended a hand to Alice as Vivianne and Johnny were talking. "Hey, I'm Weston. Seth may have been impulsive earlier, but he's certainly no poseur. He probably has more musical talent with Nirvana than all of this cafeteria. It seems like we both have showboats that we're very eager to defend. Oh, you can call me West by the way."

“Baby, I don’t think I’m a rock Star, I’m the genuine article. Hell, I could be considered a Rock God. However, I can see how hanging out with a Zero would make you mistake me for him,” Seth said. He might have been calm, but his Right eye was twitching with anger. I am a Rock Star! Seth Screamed in his head. Seth’s anger Grew when Johnny Joined in with his team mate. It took all his control to not Use Nirvana on the two. He took a deep breath and signed.

“Dude, Seriously? Leave the dad Puns at home,” Seth said. His anger was subsiding until he was called a Dog. That comment pushed him over the edge. He took Nirvana from his back and yelled, “Alright you little punks! I’ll show you what a true star looks like!” Seth was about to play Nirvana when Vivianne got involved and threw her sword in front of the two. Seth was itching to use Nirvana and he waited for either Vivianne or West to say the word. Come on, just say the word and I’ll show these two brats what true madness looks like. However, it didn’t go as he planned when Vivianne apologized to Johnny and Alice.

“What the Hell Princess?” Seth yelled before he continued, “Don’t apologize for me! I did nothing wrong! These two started it! West, back me up.” Seth was shocked to see West was even apologizing.

“Impulsive!” Seth yelled before he added, “I’m not impulsive!”
