Welcome to the world of Remnant and the city of Vale. In this world creatures known as Grimm. Grimm are dangerous that only people known as Hunters can take care of. Hunters can study at various academies around the world. The one we are here to see today is Beacon Academy. Also to point out this world doesn't just house humans it houses a type of being known as Faunas, these people have features that belong to that of a common animal such as a cat, dog, or rabbit. Anyways, welcome to Beacon Academy! This is where our story takes place! Enjoy!

You can be a villain but not a professional hunter/huntress since this rp is to focus on the story of the teams. Though you can make a parent character so if you want like a Qrow to your Ruby or a Winter to your Weiss. Thats it though

Bio: Gali always had it rough with the anti-faunus people going around and stuff. Gali lived with his older sister, Jasmine Naomi Scarlet, and his mother Hasani Scarlet. His father left when he was young so Gali doesn't known much about him. Gali trained through the years to become a hunter. He went to Signal Academy while his sister went to Beacon. His sister was known as the Golden Arrow due to her amazing speed and weapon of choice which was a bow and arrow. One day when Gali came home he found his mother collapsed on the floor. Hasani had come down with a severe illness which crippled her causing her to be bedridden. Gali kept training and entered tournaments to earn money for people to find a cure for his mothers illness. When he earned enough money he ran to the closest doctor who had some horrible news, his mother had passed. Gali was to late to save his mother. He lived his life with his sister as they traveled around for a few years. He left Signal after she graduated in order to travel. When they returned Gali enrolled in Beacon Academy where we see him now.

Weapon: Shineveil - A Glade with golden blades, given as a gift from his older sister back home. It's secondary mode is a kusarigama(Chain Scythe) with retractable chains able to reach for miles.

Bio: Life had never been easy for this girl, as it is with everyone else. Lan was born in a small town in Mistral, and like most residents in Mistral, her upbringing was not the best. Her father had left her and her mother when she was four which drove her mother to be an abusive drunk. For the next few years she dealt with her mother, and grew to hate her. It was not until she turned eight, that she ran away from home. The next few years of her life would be understanding that in mistral it was do what you had to do to survive, so she did just that. At the age of nine she affiliated herself with the one of the various small gangs, and anything ranging from petty theft to mugging she did, and did not think twice about it. She would have committed murder if it meant she could live another day. It wasn't until she turned ten that she changed her life for the better.

She had met a monk who she had tried to mug, but failed miserably after the monk embarrassed her and the others she was with. Before the monk could do anything else, she and the others ran off, but unfortunately for her, this was not the last time she would see the monk. Over the course of the next few weeks, the girl had constant run-ins with her, some violent some not. After the eighth or ninth time they met, the monk had gotten curious about the her and asked why she was in the situation she was in. She treated Lan to a meal in hopes to gain information about her, yet she remained resistant to the monk's charm. Eventually the monk wore her down, as a result the girl told her reluctantly told her everything. The monk felt the anger and hurt from this girl and offered her a place at the monastery in Vacuo. Lan had never thought about leaving Mistral, as she thought she would be there forever, but she was tired of living from day to day. She knew she could not just up and leave, at least not while she was affiliated with her gang.

Luckily however the monk was in no rush, so she told the girl she would meet her outside the town at sun up and she could give her answer then. The girl agreed to meet her and went back to her gang's hideout to mull it over, and after a lot of thought, she decided to leave mistral. Her gang however when she told them did not take the news so well. When the time for her to show up and give the monk her answer came, the monk noticed she did not show up and went to look for her. She found a few members of her gang and managed to beat the answer out of them, and went to the hideout. After clearing the gang out, she found the the girl beaten and battered. The girl was overjoyed to see a friendly face, even if she could not show it at the time. After giving her answer that she would go with the monk, they set out that afternoon. They arrived at the monastery three weeks later where she began her new life. over the next six years of her life, the monk personally trained her in hand to hand combat, taught her how to use a weapon, unlock her semblance, and helped her work through emotional problems as well.

Throughout the years she had seen how the situation with the white fang and grimm had gotten to be a problem, and wanted to help. On her seventeenth birthday she had decided she wanted to attend beacon academy to become a huntress in order to hopefully do some good. After a long and arduous process she was accepted and went to beacon. This will be her first year at beacon, and she is eager to start.

Weapon: Blue Comet- Her weapon of choice is a bo staff she calls blue comet. It was given to her as a gift from her old master as a good luck gift. The staff is outfitted with blades at both ends with retractable guards whcih she keeps on when sparring. The staff's secondary function is a bow which uses arrows filled with various types of dust.

Semblance/Special Ability: Lan's semblance is a defensive ability she calls iron wall. It allows her to use various shields to block incoming attacks, however her semblance has a weak point as she is only able to block attacks she can see. This means that someone could catch her off guard from behind, she also has like most people her limits and if overused, it can leave her fatigued.

Equipment: Blue comet, arrows, satchel

Seth and his older Brother Hunter lost their parents during a Grimm attack. After that, Hunter and Seth lived off the streets and found shelter where ever they could. Hunter found an elderly couple that could take Seth in and left him with them Seth could have a better life then he could provide. Over the years Seth’s new parents treated him like their own child and gave him everything. When Seth turned 12, Hunter came back to pick him up. Over the years Hunter had traveled with a group of musicians and learned how to play the guitar. Hunter explained that he then went off into the world and created his own band called Dust Runners. Hunter thanked the elderly couple for keeping Seth safe and took Seth on the road with his band.

Over the years Seth traveled with Hunters band and learned to play the guitar. On his 16th birthday, Hunter gave Seth his very own guitar that changed into a weapon. Hunter played it off as a show guitar that Seth could use to entertain the crowd. Hunter also told Seth he would be able to join his band under one condition: Seth would have to enroll and graduate from Beacon Academy. Seth didn’t understand why Hunter wanted him to join the Academy, but he agreed anyway since he wanted to be part of his brothers band.

Sound of Madness: Seth’s Semblance can only be activated with his Weapon. His Sound of Madness creates illusions that can be altered by his playing. However, his Semblance can only be maintained by his playing. should he stop for a second, his semblance will decativate and he'll need to start over.

Weapon: A twin blade had happened to "found" she colored the handle to match her hair. It's second form is a big pair of scissors which she uses to either cut through something or catch an enemy'so attack. So if you don't already know when it's in the Twin blade form the two blades are each half of the scissor.

Semblance/Special Ability: She can slow time for herself for about a minute or two, but scientificallyspeaking she is just moving so fast everything is slow for her. Which means once she is done with her Semblance she is kinda of exhausted, but it doesn't take long for her to recover.

Equipment: Headphones (for music listening), her weapon, bag, and a list written down in a notepad.(usually has new things on it every week or so)
