1) The picture doesn't work. Either fix it or get rid of it.
2) Does Payton actually go to school at the moment or is he just working to save for college? You were slightly vague about that.
But other than that you're good to go.

Obviously you have something hinky in Peyton's background. If you don't want anyone to know, you can PM me the addition information. What I'd like to know about is:
A) The Father's death
B) The mother's disappearance
C) The symbols on the jacket.

2) Peyton's intention is to go to school. So he's working full time at Trade Winds and trying to go full-time at the college.

A) I was inspired by FateWeaver's (a la Fool Moon) character background, and thought that perhaps Peyton's father was killed by a lycanthrope. Which variety of were-type is up to you. His father incidentally was a Park Ranger in Yellowstone.

B) Gaining more inspiration from a Dresden novel, I thought that Peyton's mother could either be a sorceress on the run, or a member of either the Red (or Fellowship of Saint Giles [depending on the chronology of the game]) or White Vampire court. Again, I am willing to give you creative liberty on which one.

C) The symbols must be something archaic -- if Peyton's mother is a witch, then maybe they're protective spells. Should she be a vampire, then perhaps a clue to where she is currently hiding.

Again, I'm flexible with any of this. And willing to take suggestions.

@Blue Demon Just mentioning that I'm still around and do intend to finish up my CS. Had to work the last couple nights, and it's been hard to focus on writing with my wisdom teeth being all painful and such. Thankfully, that part ends Monday.

@TK421Currently we're at the current book's time frame. So she couldn't be a red vampire.

@Blue Demon Alright, I've got a second draft for you. The history still feels slim to me, but I'll fill it out and try to expand on the details more later. Let me know what you think.

I hate to do this after all the effort you guys put into your characters. (because I'm picky like that) And not actually start up the RP. But in my honest opinion we don't have enough people to make this work.

However I'm going to leave it up to you guys. If you still want to do this (I'd need a yes from all three of you) I'll get the opening post up tomorrow. If not, I'll remember you guys the next time I try a Harry Dresden RP.

I'd certainly still be interested in playing with only two other characters. Size isn't everything, of course. =P

I agree. Let's get things going and if it doesn't work out, then at least we can say wet tried.

It's main the plot I had in mind. I'm not sure if it'll work with a smaller group.

But we'll give it a shot anyways.

Don't worry about trying to force your characters together. I'll be doing that for you. I'll also be tossing NPCs your way to keep you entertained until you do. It's okay if your first post is rather short since everyone will be in different locations (but you can also be at the same location if you desire). Just go ahead and put your character where you think is best, at work, school, around town, where ever. Once I know where everyone is, I can start gathering you all up and tossing things your way.

Everything that Lola mentioned, has been talked about around town. It's common knowledge.
1) Strange "sightings" at Yellowstone (Just tall tales)
2) more earthquakes than usual (emanating from Yellowstone) (On the news)
3) Students on campus getting seriously sick then dying (On the news)

Since you are all "normal" in the sense you were not raised in the magic community, none of you will have any idea of the more magical based events occurring. Only what you hear from other people and the news.
