What's it worth? For millennia, if not from the very beginning this was the question which kept people moving! Even now…..
People discard morality, fear, family, and friends for the answer to that question and they are never satisfied with the answer. Throughout history very few were happy with what they got.
And this? This story long ago, in a far, far away galaxy isn't about those who are happy with what they got. No. It is about those who discarded everything for the answer to the question “What's it worth”?
No this isn't about the Sith, they still have their so called pride.
Neither it is about the Jedi who discarded their emotions so they could find peace(and did they ever?).

It is about us! The ones who discarded everything so that they could rise from the refuse of the galaxy. We survive because we do what others can't, or won’t. Because of their morals, ethics or religion.
You call us murderers, but it was not us who wanted the death.
You call us slavers, but we are merely couriers.
As bad as some may call us, there are worse, and it is us who keep them at bay.

At least that's what Vapjo used to believe. Now he knows that some people discard their money instead of parts of their bodies or souls. And they make the rules. All this ideological shit was nothing more than a muffled scream in space.
It was this point of view that lost Vapjo his standing in the Guild. If you get a contract you accept it, end of story. Forget that he had two hundred and fifty four live captures to his name. Small bounties, true, but often two or three at a time. Maybe he left them in the hands of local law enforcement sometimes, but sometimes taking a captive offworld is simply impossible.
Well, that’s enough to get you demoted. He could have been at the top! Or somewhere in the high middle at least, not the lowest of the low! So it surprised Vapjo when a Guild Overseer sent a holo message requesting him personally.

The guild Overseer was stationed in the Kwenn Space Station.

The guild taxi docked onto the station, it just took a second for the magnetic cranes to lift the ship inside the energy hull which kept the air of the station inside. An automatic voice then said, first in basic and then in many other languages, that the passengers now might leave the ship and that they need to register it. The pilot nodded off the credits Vapjo was offering him and with a shrug he accepted that decision. It just meant that whatever brought him here, was more serious than it seemed. He followed the corridor and was lead to a long queue of people waiting to register their ships to finally enter the station and enjoy one of the many entertainment sections the Kwenn station had to offer. A beautiful Twil'lek women came from the counter and waved at Vapjo. He came over and she spoke to him in fluent twil’leki….but Vapjo didn't understand a single word. As the son of a slave, the first thing they do is rip away any culture or language you once had. So Vapjo answered in basic, assuming what she said.

“I guess you are my escort to Gonzo?” it was the way she behaved and her body language that he didn't even have to wait for an answer. He was correct. The sudden loss of her beautiful mask revealed confusion before she raised her voice again “Ah I assumed you would speak….well, let's not waste time then! This way Mr. Sej'zunu~” Her voice was like silk and the way she moved her body, her hips alone and then her smell…..

Vapjo concentrated on the task in front of him and eased a little up as he finally reached Gonzo’s office and the charming Twil'lek left the two of them to their buisness.

Gonzo was sitting on his chair, his office was decorated heavily with all manner of useless, but valuable things to display his wealth.
“The Twil'lek is good; I recommend you keep her but you can smell the nuance of weapon oil on her! “
A fat human smiled from behind his desk, “Hah sometimes I forget you are worth more than your reputation but I guess you aren't interested where I got her from. So shall we end this chit chat?”

Vapjo’s face was a cold mask as he didn't answer, the silence in the room was growing, getting louder, painfully until Gonzo cleared his throat.

“Yeah...umm...the reason right? Ahhhh yeah…”

Gonzo changed appearence, he turned from the fat buisness man into the former bounty hunter he was, his brown eyes piercing at Vapjo and his face now showing the traits of countless fights.

“Sure, I will keep it short! The Kynachi Sector is controlled by Kynachi Inc.! They had several problems with pirates in the past and we always took care of it but suddenly….well it seemed to get worse. Three Hunters already went missing and so we are sending a team”

Before Vapjo even had the time to even fully understand the word ‘team’, Gonzo already lifted his hand to cut even his thinking off.

“We are short on staff and we can not afford to lose the contract as well as other hunters! This is a guild management order and you have to obey. The party consists of many hunters, dunno some might even be freebies. They might even be greenhorns, I do not care! You get the main info on the mission and you directly report to the guild, TO ME!”

Vapjo was filled with anger but he couldn't just decline the job, if you get a job DIRECTLY from your Overseer you either accept or leave the guild.

“What's the money? And what's the briefing of the others?”

Gonzo was again his slick self and smiled. “10.000 credits for each one of you! Kynachi Inc will provide you with a shuttle and provisions! They want to handle it as delicately as possible. You will gain the rest of the briefing at the headquarters of Kynachi Inc and now hush! You will meet the team at the Striker’s bar here at Kwenn Station.”

Gonzo leaned over the table and placed a credit unit on the table!

“Take some drinks and ease up” he said with a wink.

Vapjo took it and went to the bar, it was about 50 credits and a contactor, showing the other ‘team mates’ where to find him.
He hoped to find them soon or he would charge the guild for his time.

Before Vapjo even entered the bar he was flushed with the music and the smells emitting from it. As soon as he entered he was blinded by blue and violet lights and deafened by basses souring through his body. It was exotic and definitely not a low class bar like on Mos Eisley.
The bar was filled with all kind of aliens and visitors, even droids were allowed which is rather rare. Even though many people found themselves into the bar, it still had enough room and tables.
Vapjo decided to rest at the bar counter and looked around.

Some Ualaq and Rodian dancer are showing their skills inside a cage while a human musician created some electronic beats to it.

He ordered a strong liquor and tipped the bartender with the 50 credits.
“Just keep it coming” he growled towards him in basic.
The human bartender, smartly, just answered with a nod.

This was the most crucial moment of this hunt, more important than evaluation, the tracking or even the capture. A team meant relying on someone, a word and a deed most unknown to bounty hunters! Vapjo had the strange feeling that the team would cause more trouble than the job itself!

But all he could do now was wait…..

Besh was busy being bugeyed at both the beautiful babes bouncing about before him.

This is not to say he was unaware of his surroundings, but if someone wanted to end him, he'd rather be looking at something pretty when he went. He had met with Gonzo earlier in the day and was told where they would be meeting, he knew he wasent going to be in charge so he might as well make a good impression. He was traveling with all his gear, but not in full regalia to show off his profession. As long as he slipped credits into the cage's slot, they couldn't care less what he did or didn't dress like. He drank on something black, re-caffeinated and non-alcoholic to keep his mind clear. He only drank on rare occasions and this was not one of them. His com chimed and he looked down to read the digital print of the vocabulation "Leader en route, Vapjo, pale male twi'lek."

With a reluctant sigh, He got up with his bag and headed to the fresher. Five minutes later, he emerged now in full regalia for work and scanned the crowds just in time to see the leader speaking with the human bartender. He gave it a good ten-count before heading over to meet with the twi'lek. He started with huttese, already assuming no one wanted to hear the nasal trumpeting of his species language.

Yski was feeling fairly grouchy. The music was earsplittingly loud to a Bith, so much so that he had to clench his mouth shut and hold his hands over it in order to hear clearly. Of course, he could have done what he normally did and swilled his olfactory/vibratory glands with kyrf until his mind and senses were too dulled for the club to cause him pain or damage, but he wasn't allowed to bring drinks with him into a bar, for obvious reasons. The kyrf planet was a long, long way away, and he only had 5 credits. There he sat, drinkless, in this most uncomfortable position, glaring with much frustration at what the men around him insisted were the most gorgeous pair of thighs in the world, but only being able to see a barely Twi'lek-shaped blob of dull color practically drowned out by the vibrant lights above and behind her.

He reached for his scope, but alas, the girl was just out of the focus range. He leaned in and out slowly to no avail, and decided to look elsewhere for something to do, putting the scope away and drawing his cane with his free hand, he made his way to the bar.

"Cheapess drink?" He asked through his hand in muffled basic, unaware that the two people that the fat man had told him about were right next to him. He reached for the few credits in his pocket. He was a beggar all over again, and likely couldn't afford much, but his kyrf was stored somewhere at the entrance and something had to be done about this loud, ceaseless noise.

Zaskon smiled as he entered Strike's bar and immediately scanned the room to see where the drinks were. After a few moments he managed to locate what he was looking for and with an even bigger smile on his face he sat down at the bar next to a Bith. He was looking forward to the job that the large man had hired him for. Working with a team was a somewhat new thing for him. He had worked with Nikros on a few occasions but those had been two hunter jobs, but his mentor had given him a piece of sound advice in case he was on a team.

"It's better to work with friends than with enemies."

He waved the bartender over and ordered a fairly cheap type of drink that he had drank in the past. Despite the fact that it was cheap and barely had any alcohol in it, he had always found he enjoyed it no matter who mixed it.

"Cheapess drink?"

Zaskon looked down at the Bith and couldn't help but notice that there was no drink in front of him. Based on what he had just heard from the bith, it was possible he was either all out of credits or he didn't have enough for a drink He frowned for a moment and grabbed twenty five credits and pushed them towards the Bith as another one of Nikros's words of wisdom came to mind.

"Remember: Buying someone a drink can pay off in the long run. It Doesn't hurt to help out someone when they need a drink."

"It's on me." He said with a grin to the Bith as he turned back to the bartender and took a closer look at all the drinks behind the bar.

Ahjan had a purposeful stride, with all of the confidence of a young man who had yet to be beaten too badly. He wasn't a frequent bar goer by choice, but he had learned from experience that if you see past the lights and hear past the sounds, you'll likely be the only one doing so. As such, it was a great place to sneak up on someone who needed capturing.

This time he had no need of stealth, his target was waiting for him and he was going to meet him amicably. Vapjo was plainly visible, and Ahjan strode toward him, cutting off a Rodian who was trying to introduce himself to speak to the man.

"Vapjo, I assume?"

It seems that most of the other hunters were already here! Vapjo opened his visual link and quickly displayed the information over an integrated lense. Only he would be able to see the visual displays of his soon going to be teammates. He quickly skimmed of er the informations.

A Rodian of a rather large clan. He is with the guild and seems a natural tracker and a good shot.

A Bith? Well a rather average shooter, which is remarkable if you consider their eyesight, seems to know some jedi kravmagar-judo-mumbo, so dangerous up close. He had problems with the trade federation in the past but even the guild couldn't get much info on that.

Next was a Rattataki who was brought to the guild by Nikros! He is a do goody and something in the history between those two didn't seemed to add up but well since Nikros always followed the creed...the Guild dropped the investigation rather quickly!

Last but not least came someone from Dathomir, interesting fellow who seems to close in on his victims by using stealth, a bulky fellow! Vapjo wondered how some people could not see him coming....

It remind him of the Bith who was just seconds ago, trying to glimpse up to some dancers pants and nearly got his nose fried by the energy field protection of the cages.

Greenhorns? Aside from the Rodian this looked even worse, now he just had to find a way to cut himself off the Rodian's stench! While their tracking skills are really nothing to mess with and their "Hunt Sport" is also remarkable so is also their ability to stench like a Taunton's innards!

Vapjo killed two drinks in a row before he pushed himself from the bar counter, he rose his hands before him, his palms deflecting every further attempt to talk to him while he does so. This was his time to talk!

"Someone else get the blind Bith over here and also that Rattataki" He said to the Rodian in their language. Vapjo pointed to the two lovely birds who just wanted to share a drink.
With that said he headed for a free table in a rather distant corner of the bar. They needed discretion and it would be easier for the Bith to understand when they had some distance between them and the DJ.

Vapjo sat down and placed a translator unit onto the centre of the table, it would translate most languages into basic and vice versa. Directly after everyone sat down Vapjo also displayed the info he got from Gonzo regarding the mission.

"Any further questions? I will lead this mission, the price money is 10.000 credits each! Not more, not less! We will take a ferry over to the Kynachi sector, there we will be provided with a ship. We hunt the pirates and go separated ways! Happy?"

Vapjo slapped his hands on the table and looked towards everybody!

Besh looked up at the horny bastard who cut him off for attention and made a lewd gesture behind the zabrak's back. Before he could do anything stupid, the leader pointed to the two men at the bar and spoke in Rodese "Someone else get the blind Bith over here and also that Rattataki."

Picking his language seemed way to specific to ignore as he slipped away without even a confirmation. He moved with the pulses of the music and flashes of light. Just like when tracking in open fields or wooded areas, you only move when the wind blows strong enough to mask your movements with light and shadow and the rustle covers your footfall. Surprisingly, much of following someone is spent staying still.

The bigger of the two looked to be a true fighter, the pose and way he framed himself was the rote shape of a lifetime of training for melee. Anyone who devotes their life to a cause have specific ways their body language. Comparing his solid frame to that of the bith beside him, the differences are in ways one places their feet instinctively at rest and bends the knees. The shift of the hip determines how the spine sits which in turn forces the arms to be kept just so as the tilt in the neck determines one one's head is held.

In a few moments, he waited for a strobe light crescendo to end and the club suffer a two second black out as the music changed for him to lurch up to the bar between pale warrior and the bubble headed bith. He didn't dare lay hands on them for he like to keep his arms attached to his shoulders. He had to speak up over the din of orders being placed, but not so lout anyone but these two would easily hear him shouting softly.

"Hey guys. We got a guild party going on at that table over there. Rhetorically speaking, care to join us?"

The Bith was much relieved when he heard the sound of credits rolling across the bar and the greenish-brownish-grayish blur next to him offered to pay. It was just like the old days! Granted, the "old days" were never very good, but the upside of being a beggar, or a fugitive, or any mix thereof, was that sometimes drinks came free. He was once the town drunk, after all.

"Thank so much, good person!" the Bith said in sorely translated basic.

But then he heard the voice of a Rodian behind him, and footsteps headed away towards a distant corner of the joint.

"Hey guys. We got a guild party going on at that table over there. Rhetorically speaking, care to join us?"

Yski realized that he would have to drink responsibly if he hoped to keep the job, and that, while inebriation would have made the loud music more bearable, it would cloud his judgement. Of course, he could keep it behind his lips to absorb the noise, as he sometimes did in uncomfortably loud situations, but he wouldn't be able to talk if he needed to... He then judged, by the rate at which the sound deadened, that it would probably be just fine at that distance and he wouldn't need to cover his "ears" anymore.

"Ah." Yski said, turning to the vague, friendly shape next to him and nodding apologetically, "Not meaning to hassle Good Person, but there is no need anymore. The noise will be not so bad over there."

The Zabrack's footsteps shook the less-than-solid foundation of the club he entered. Giving in under the rather enormous weight of him and all his equipment. Even without his mass; a pale, golden-eyed Zabrack is enough to draw some attention, but one larger than a Wookie? Eyes immediately moved to him. He ducked low so he could enter through the doorframe, and immediately began scanning the area with his data-link for known guild-members. He had been a last-minute addition to some pirate mission, from looking over the progress report of the others on the assignment, it only looked like one or two of them would do any real good, but the rest were likely to be nothing but a burden.

As his link began to identify members, he noticed one man positioned at a table, further away from the DJ than most clubbers. The addition of a table-top translator also gave him away. Moving forward, the ground continued to protest under his weight, and people continued to stare, but moved out of the way, which he was comfortable with. He often avoided public locations for too long, due to his natural appearance and in addition of his aesthetics, he was often assumed, or at least questioned, of having involvement with the Sith. He was wearing his casual attire, with all armor but his Helmet activated, the way he often can be found.

Upon arriving at the table, he nodded in Acknowledgment to the man already seated, and sat opposite of him, back against the wall, and waited for the others.

"Thank so much, good person!"

Zaskon grinned. "Not a problem. Drinks are the best way to make allies." Zaskon said with a wide smile as a Rodian walked over towards both him and the Bith. He was prepared to fight if need be but it appeared that there would be no need as the Rodian simply delivered a message.

"Hey guys. We got a guild party going on at that table over there. Rhetorically speaking, care to join us?"

Zaskon tried to hide another smile. "Of course, I'll be there in a moment." The hulking Rattatak said as he handed some credits to the bartender and was handed a non-alcoholic drink before rising to his feet. "Enjoy the drink, my friend." He said with a smile as he took a drink and headed for the table.

"Not meaning to hassle Good Person, but there is no need anymore. The noise will be not so bad over there."

Zaskon raised an eyebrow. He got the majority of what the Bith was saying but it was still somewhat hard to understand but it looked as if the Rodian had been talking to both him and the Bith. Was it possible that the Bith was another Bounty hunter? He looked over at the table and saw a hulking Zabrak enter the room and sit at the table as well. "Excuse me." He said to the Bith as he headed towards the table and sat down to the left of the Zabrak and looked him over. Big fellow. Might be a challenge if I ever have to fight this one.

He listened carefully to the details of the mission and nodded his approval. His opinion was that pirates were scum. Next to hutts, they were his least favorite creatures in the galaxy.

"Any further questions? I will lead this mission, the price money is 10.000 credits each! Not more, not less! We will take a ferry over to the Kynachi sector, there we will be provided with a ship. We hunt the pirates and go separated ways! Happy?"

"I am curious, why are they sending a team of us after the pirates? How much of a threat are they?" He asked.

Vapjo had his eyes upon the Zabrak the moment he entered the bar, even while speaking with the others he always continued to have him in his peripheral field.
Vapjo tried to gather some information on him by accessing into the guild data files via his visual link, the face didn't match with any of the registered guild members.
He either was here for the job or to do something nasty. Just to be sure he aimed his Wristblaster carefully at him by casually crossing his arms or placing his hand upon his lap. He doubt a single shot from his blaster would stop him, espacially from his Wristblaster, his pistol would have been to obvious to wield around and it is also packed away in his bag.

Vapjo snared in his thought as he was about to share his information and the Zabrak even sat down, he continued still. This was official buisness, not some illegal assassination so he could care less if someone was eavesdropping.
The problem was Vapjo hated eavesdropping!

"For the equipment, we use our own, this station has a small store where you can get some mags if you need some. Rations will be given by our employees, just expect some Q-rations. Good nourishment."

Vapjo turned around to the guild member named Zaskon, as the matter of the team was stated.

"Well several hunter from the guild already went missing, no signals found, neither their ships! Same goes with the cargo ships from Kynachi! Smells like pirates, which were also a thread before but we always took care. So the guild hates loosing clients as well as members, so they sended a team. Regarding that....i doch not know how to level this threat. They could have a faster ship, they just pinpoint both cargo and the hunter ship and go into their range via hyperspace. A good assault tactic which gets most people off guard, maybe also our hunters! Maybe they just have luck, maybe they have stealth, maybe, maybe , maybe"

He was exaggerating the last parts and made it clear that assumptions wouldn't lead them anywhere, the problem alone was that the 'pirates' were never truly sighted! The ships just disappear without being able to send a proper rescue signal.

Vapjo waited until most of the discussion between the members were over as he now leaned forward and looked directly into the eyes of the Zabrak.

"Since we guild members are finished with discussing things like little Jawas..."
He pointed his index finger and so also his Wristblaster at the Zabrak.
"What are you doing here!? And who the Sh'qkaw are you?"

Vapjo’s eyes were like arrows piercing the unnatural yellow ones of the Zabrak, it may be a stupid idea to mess a fight with him but Vapjo didn't matter, that alien stumbled into the wrong job without even introducing himself. Vapjo guessed he was a free bounty hunter, so someone without any affiliations with the guild and that he found out of the job via the open media channels but that didn't matter, that Zabrak had showed no signs of respect so far and that wouldn't go unmentioned!

The Zabrack's eyes seemed to radiate as the man leaned forward and glared directly into his eyes, if such an act had occurred in Dathomir, the man would have been ripped apart, limb from limb, and then been used to decorate the catii on the perimeter of his clan's territory. But Alas, he was not on his home planet, and when in Rome...

Continuing to stare into the eyes of this bounty-hunter, his mouth opened, his words heavy with the accent of an ancient language, and a gravely depth that seems to penetrate the souls of others.
"My ancestor is Sirak Kolor, Son of Darth Matas of Clan Kolar.
I am the blood of the Een, the Destroyer of the Kandela, the Destruction of Sazen, the Berserk of Judarrl, the Slayer of the Hogra, and the Murderer of Lo.
I am the Strength of Dathomir and the Power of Iridonia.
I was the child Ta'el, and I, am Nuvra Kolar."

Finishing his introduction, he continued to stare into the eye of the man across from him, waiting for his reaction. His name was known, and he was aware of that. He had an infamous reputation amongst civilians, twofold that amongst bounty-hunters, if the man did not know, another who was listening would, and it was likely just as well that the man had been searching for information on him on his visual-link since he had began his introduction.

Yski found his way over to the table in time to learn everything important about the mission. He glazed over the questions and snapped to attention again when a big grey blob told the blob in charge all about his long list of impressive-sounding names. Intimidating as it seemed he was trying to be, it seemed rather impossible to take seriously over the club music pumping from the speakers.

He quietly, non-chalantly thought aloud in Bith tongue that it was, in fact, an impressive list. Absentmindedly, he wondered if this was the same grey blob that was known for hunting. He heard about it in a news gram he sort of listened to a while ago... If so, why was he here?

The Bith resolved to remain utterly casual. The worst thing you can do around this kind of person is show even a shred of fear or subservience. If one does, it's very difficult to get them to treat you as an equal thereafter.

He calmly leaned back in his chair and rested his hand on the pommel of his lightsaber, in a way that suggested he didn't plan on dying and would rather nobody start trying anything funny rather than insinuating he was frightened and about to draw.

It wasn't a very difficult act to hold when all the threats, real or imagined, had been made over a backdrop of bright, childlike colors and cheerful bar music.

Vapjo pursed his lips, his eyes still holding up to the stare of the Zabrak. He automatically connected his visual link via the holo net connection of the station. Several news articles and files opened themselves before only his eyes and revealed what was behind the name. For many it seemed a highly trained freeby, more a mercenary than a bounty hunter but his reputation was dark yet flawless. Many bounties he acquires also required intellect gathering in a rather delinquent way. T

It is Torture and the Zabrak before him had left many victims crippled. Officals reports show that he seemed to be an endless pit of pure destructive strength and in addition to his rather 'charming' character he could directly understand why many reports hinted towards an affiliation with the sith. It took only seconds for Vapjo to find that out and another second to find a bounty contract on this same mission which was signed with his name, it forcefully chained this huge meat shield to this mission.

But most things Vapjo gathered from the visual link weren't new to him. The name is a rather infamous one and it did indeed rang a bell. So a rather renowned hunter for this team full of low class to lower mid class bounty hunters.

Vapjo was still unsatisfied with this, even considering the rather shroomy background of this Zabrak he doubt even Gonzo knew about him but then he mentioned something about freebies.

"Well isn't this lovely~ I hope your value to this mission will be as big as your introduction! This isn't some slaughter festival, Destroyer of the Kandela! We are hired firstly to protect the cargo from pirates and I guess the guild will also pay extra of we find the remnants of the missing hunters."

Vapjo finally eased up and backed off the Zabrak. Maybe because he knew that if he would go further that he would probably try rip his spine out or maybe because he just had this small image in his mind where Vapjo just shot him the head with his Wristblaster right here and now,we either way is to was probably good for both parties.

With a sigh Vapjo had moved his hands over his eyes and massaged shortly the bridge of his nose. In his opinion he had said enough already and if this were ever to happen again he already formulated his denunciation from the guild.

He looked around and rose his voice again, now tried and unnerved.

"The shuttle will go in about 4 hours, pack your things, refills your goods, do whatever you guys must. I do not care! The flight will take around 8 hours so enough time to sleep if you must. The shuttle will leave with or without you. Hangar F-3. I just uploaded the directions to your uplinks, just accept them if you want, if not? Well who cares anyways! If you need directions ask the local staff, don't even dare to bug me! I may be in charge of you in this mission but I am not your Kvquik nanny! If you need anything else, I'll be here!"

With that he walked back to the bar counter, the tab of his drink was still open and he wanted to remind the bar keeper of that exactly!

"That'd be quite a feat," Ahjan laughed. His eyes had been locked on Nuvra since he had first spotted him. Which, owing to the noise the man made, was very shortly after he had entered the bar. He had an intensity to the gaze, but it was not returned, though he was sure that Nuvra had spotted him. Possibly recognized him, Ahjan did not know.

When Vapjo made a brave effort to bring matters back to the mission, Ahjan slowly lowered his gaze back to their hunt leader, but he had nothing more to say; he had his briefing.

When he stood up, he faced Nuvra, but said nothing. He gave him a respectful nod and made to walk around him and out of the bar.

Barr had been standing in the corner of the bar starting off at nothing. In truth he was semi-offline as nothing in his immediate vicinity caught his interest, only occasionally scanning the area for any members of the guild. He had been there for quite a few hours, scanning periodically but usually not coming up with any leads. This last time however he noticed a group of guild affiliates and a renowned bounty hunter. These were obviously the Meatbags Gonzo sent him to meet.

Barr strode up to the table of bounty hunters and addressed the group "Query, are you all underlings of Gonzo sent to deal with the disappearances in the Kynachi sector?" Barr asked the group at the table.

"Or they could have an informant, someone who's alerting them to which hunters are being sent and what type of ships they have. If that's the case then they could be waiting to ambush anyone sent to attack them. I think we should count that as a possibility just in case they're waiting for us." Zaskon said more to himself than the others.

Zaskon smiled a savage smile at the thought of the hunt to come. "Very well. I look forward to hunting pirates with you all." He said in what he considered his most polite tone as he checked the uplink and saw what hanger he would have to board the ship in. "I shall return shortly, just need to check a few things." He said with a smile at the others as he rose to his feet and headed for the corridor outside the bar. He heard an odd sound as he left and saw what appeared to be some sort of droid addressing the group.

Must be asking what type of drinks they want. He thought to himself.

Besh had done his job and so now he simply sat back to let the alpha issue the orders. Much of it sounded suspicious, but sitting here arguing shadows was not putting them onto their quarry. He pulled out a datapad and wrote down questions to ask the others later.
*What was being stolen? / Who has being targeted?
*Can they track if any of the stolen items have turned back up on public or black markets?
*When was the last time anyone had ever been targeted in this manner?
On order to stalk the prey, know the prey. Know the territory it has claimed. Study its remains, be it food carcases or its 'leavings'. Everything leaves tracks of some kind, even fish.

He was about to go make preparations when a droid approached the table. He liked droids, properly made, properly programed, they were more dependable than people. "Query, please state your designation and function before we answer your query."

Yski was sitting rather comfortably now and biding his time before he had to leave, thereby having to walk through that unbearably loud music, in order to reach the ship and the deposit box with his Kyrf in it. Of course, there was no use in sitting around quietly and awkwardly for no reason other than procrastination, but then a droid, (The moving smudge had to have been a droid, by the sound of its voice...) came up to the table, and he felt that he would rather listen to what it had to say than listen to the blaring music.

He wanted to know if they were the people that were hired to go a-pirate-fighting, of course. Before Yski could translate what he was about to say in his head, the Rodian spoke up. He figured he'd better not talk until the droid answered... After all, it's not exactly a good idea to slight something that can hold a blaster and see farther than you, intentionally or otherwise.
