I've been pretty interested in this for a while, though I find the complete post count a bit intimidating. Is it too late for a newcomer to join without being lost in plot happenings?


We also have summaries of goings on in the OP that are pretty useful. We're pretty easy going here, feel free to make a character and join up.

@DeadBeatWalking For good ol' gangland violence, look up Nexus, Raptorman or I. For traditional superheroes, nitemare, Fallen, Ded, or Vats should be there.

If you want dead presidents being superheroes, look up Byrd, and if you want mecha, look up Ded or me.

Magical stuff would be the territory of deviant and I.

@DeadBeatWalking For good ol' gangland violence, look up Nexus, Raptorman or I. For traditional superheroes, nitemare, Fallen, Ded, or Vats should be there.

This thread is always open and rather flexible even if you only have a basic knowledge of what has come before.

@DeadBeatWalking We're like an evolving comic house, adding new issues and fresh characters all the time. As others have said our past archs are on the opening post and check through the roster to get an idea of whose done what.

Like everyone have said, we are all a pretty relaxed group. We have summaries of the major story arcs that have had game-wide affects in the OP and if you have any other questions, just ask! You can also look through the character sheet tab to see what people have already done so far.

But, she doesn't talk in the 1st plural. Or at least not yet. NO Venom is accurately portrayed unless he uses the 1st plural to refer to himself.

This roleplay really likes its Love Polygons.

Lyger - Kerri / Addie / Sam / Sammy (kind of)

Mantis - Brooke / Mary / Abby

And the mother of all Love Polygons

Thunderbolt -> Radiance -> Icon <- Boom <- War-Pulse

I completely forgot about the most obvious love polygon.

The majority of roleplayers in this game (especially Kalistar) -> Arachne -> Dedonus' shameless self-insert.

Chew on that.

Bingo... Though I don't think Eddie Brock (think it was him, spidey knowledge is rusty), the character, not the player, had sociopath issues though. Rach could actually, without meaning to, kill someone in pure rage then immediately regret it. Sociopaths are more killers of passion and in the moment than actually cold, heartless and preplanned ones. At least that's what I've learned so far, I'm still researching it. :p

Hero and me are likely going to explore the Alien stuff so expect some extra terrestrial stuff in the future.

You could play a sidekick for hire? Hopping between heroes who'll pay you. Might be a good way to keep things interesting plus you'd get to do plenty of colabs.
