@LetMeDoStuff Will our characters be able to be dodgy and eccentric? I'm all for new recruits of an army, but can we make it some specialized offshoot rather than just copy/paste grunts? The character I'm writing has a criminal background and unsavory motivations, which I think works well with the environment they are in.

The Man From Michigan [+]

Name: Salvatore Franklin Michelson 'The Michigan Machine','Michigan Mallet Man' 'Mr Mike'
Place of birth: Battle Creek,Michigan
Character history: Prisoner 79C0-456 also known as the Michigan Machine because of his background with mechanics and his cold robot like demeanor. He earned himself because he attempted to blow up a Bikers Club in the midwest, he had bad blood with the leader but because of an untrustworthy accomplice the biker crew were able to escape the club before he blew the place up. He was then the target of an informant in his garage which he worked and wound up getting 17 years for attempted murder. But Sal, learned a lot about explosives before his incarceration and managed to escape in 2010 after serving only 1 year. It was an infamous jailbreak because Henry had managed to build a bomb inside prison by using material from the scrapyard which he worked. He is now a wanted man and on the run.

A few years after his escape, he crossed the Atlantic into Scotland (where his dad was from) and ended up making bombs for a mercenary group who, taught him some combat basics including Firearms and close combat. Although this was useful Henry preferred his bombs and started carrying a large sledgehammer which the Scottish then affectionately called him 'The Michigan Malletman'. The group then made their way over to Italy (where his mom was from) where they had a job training a small 'scavenger' army, Sal was in charge of teaching the soldiers how to make bombs, they called him Mr Mike because of his long name. Sadly the Army base was invaded by a swarm of mutants, and the whole Scottish squad were wiped out. Only Sal was able to barely escape and now is travelling England trying to find out what to do with his life now he is lost in this strange land.
Appearance:
Gear: Wears the clothes seen in the pic.
Weapons and equipment: Henry carries all types of Bombs from dynamite, to grenades, C4, he is a self taught explosives expert, who has a wide range of knowledge on ballistics and bomb making and diffusing. He also carries a large Gas Powered Desert eagle Pistol and a Large Sledgehammer, that he uses for smashing debris and his opponents skulls.
Role: Demolition Man/Explosives Expert
Miscellaneous: Has some skills in hand to hand combat as he studied Greco Roman Wrestling in college. Also can speak some spanish because of his time in jail surrounded by Latin prisoners.

I do not want to be a bummer, but I would like to make some constructive Criticism. As evil and prepared as he looks, I feel like he is a bit over the top. These being mostly survivors and having only enough equipment to hold themselves together, I feel like all these weapons are a bit over the top. I'm fine with the Sledgehammer, and maybe petrol-bombs, but many of these dynamite and stuff seems too far for the groups. Maybe one or two grenades as for a special, as there were some Military scavenging points, because most of those would've been taken at this point. For the Desert Eagle, I'll have to say no to. The British Army haven't got access to it, so there'd be no way that they could find it from a Military Stash. Some of the dates and stuff seem to be a bit off, and it'd make more sense to be in London when it happened. The walls and defences around the city made it difficult to escape and to get in, and it'd make no sense to come all the way from Italy to London for the apocalypse. I'll put a few ideas for Weapons in the OOC, but I'd like to apologise for this statement.

Well I cant do much about the image, that's just how he looks. But I can swap out the bombs for the 2 hand grenades and an incendiary, and remove his desert eagle altogether. I'll add a few petrol bombs and molotov coktails in its place. Maybe he can have a smaller custom pistol like the colt.
