I'm ... I'm just here .... And I'm old :p and already married ... Sorta :p

I did develop close friendships with people online a while ago, and sorta kinda a relationship, but they didn't exactly work out and in the end was more drama than it's worth. But I wish you all all the happiness :D

I am also super excited about where this is all going :)

Thanks :) Yeah, Fiona basically figures if the giant, burly God-Eater guy didn't hurt the thing by impaling it all the way through the chest, her attacks aren't going to do any better that way. And magic isn't really a go-to weapon for her, though she has doubts if torching the thing would work anyway.

The only thing I'd say is watch the acrobatics slightly. Remember, we're going for more grounded style combat here than, for lack of better phrase, anime inspired mobility. Try to keep the acrobatics in the realm of plausibility. Don't worry about editing anything, I just wanted to get that out there. That aside, your post was fine as usual.

For people who have yet to post a battle post, don't worry, I haven't forgotten about you. The battle rages on yet.

@icmasticc I completely understand. I had a battle scene from Spartacus in mind when they jumped off the shield. With her training, she can pull something off, but I agree, and I will be mindful of that in the future :)

I think mostly the fact that it wasn't set up was what stretched plausibility. My youtube search of Spartacus shield jump found a scene where that maneuver was very much intended by both guys, whereas Nicholas isn't prepared to launch Annalynne. Even though she's light, having a person push their whole weight off a shield while unprepared seems like it could easily mess Nicholas up. Which might be kinda funny and/or dramatic if someone took a hit because of it. The jump would also be really tough to pull off, as Nicholas's shield is probably moving, considering that he's in the middle of a fight.

Just my two cents. I thought the post was fine otherwise.
