Accepted.

Feel free to start posting, everyone. Regarding your fight in the Choosing, go ahead and take control of an instructor and have the battle play out as you like. The weapons are wooden, and killing would be very frowned upon. Win or lose, it doesn't matter, so long as you show that your character is physically capable.

Can I just say that there is a startling lack of real variety here?

Almost EVERYONE is skilled with a bow. Just about EVERYONE is skilled with a short blade. Everyone's some kind of ranger/forager, whether directly/formally, or indirectly/informally. So, uh, why the hell is everyone still exactly the same thing? If everyone is so good with a bow, it'd be smarter to cut down the forests of Everautumn and simply have a regiment of archers to shoot down any lycans before they get close.

You have a good point. It's not often that I make a character that specializes in stealth.. @mogwar would it be ok if made a second character that specializes in being a tank?

'Tis a fair point. To be perfectly honest, I hadn't even noticed the large concentration of archers due to the amount of time between each character sheet being posted.

If anyone wants to edit their characters to give a bit of diversity among the cast, go for it. Try not to be too terribly proficient. There should always be room to grow. Also, second characters are allowed, if you want, but please make sure you can handle it first. I'd rather have one well written character over two unfocused ones.

Now, I'm not a GM or anything, but I can say that Alex seems to be awful skilled for someone so young and untrained- especially against an older, more experienced soldier. Clapping in one's face may get one to flinch, but swing anyhow and cut off your hands- and the temporary respite you'd get FROM clapping your hands would be lost as you stoop to pick up your dagger again.

As a bystander, someone with no power besides voice, I advise some caution. Alex is hardly a trained assassin- if he/she is, then it should be labelled there in the character sheet. Being merely good at a dagger and at blending in isn't the same as being an apprenticed assassin- likewise, I doubt my character would be able to pull off anything exceptional with a bow or a knife.

Young and inexperienced < Older and experienced
I don't think in a realistic fight, Jacob would've lost, period.

Also, your character is borderline psychopathic. Giving a cute smile, running up and becoming a cold-eyed assassin and 'dispatching' a hostile, and then stepping back to give another cute smile and go skipping off isn't exactly normal. Especially since there's nothing else that we know- for all we know, Alex is really and truly nice and happy, and then goes murderous, and then back again, or it's just an act. We don't know.

And tbh, your character sounds more like a ten-year-old child, whatwith the cute smiles and all that.

Mind you, this ain't me being me- I just find myself at odds with your character, and I'd like to get them clarified, whether by bringing it to your attention so you can adjust accordingly, or by you explaining it to me and maybe adding a bit more detail so that we have a better idea as to what's going on.

Then ask. If you're unsure about anything, then ask away. I doubt Mogwar would thwart your plans to bring some more creativity to the table, eh?

I sure wouldn't.

And I am in agreement about @Cuccoruler's character. You really need to tone down the ninja assassin stuff, since you pretty much started off in Gary Stu territory to begin with.

Is this still active and accepting? I thought I might make a noble born delinquent who could take the role of tank and heavy hitter.

Okay, here he is. Something of a dickbag but very good at fighting, so long as he has his sword, armour and shield. On the downside, no tracking or hunting abilities and will complain about living conditions for a while.
