This is the question. Honestly, I prefer how I did it with White Tiger/Iron Fist and Iron Man/Captain America in my previous game. Long collabs can soak up too much time and I've seen them kill games with their superfluous content. It'd be best to play off each other even if the posts end up being short or result in "flooding" the IC.


I mean, unless writers PM through the conversation and agree for one of them to post the full conversation as some kind of joint post?

@FantasyChic Harley's a strong and pretty well loved character. Highlight your interest in another character now though rather than waiting for it to pan out or someone might claim it, this game has got a lot of activity.

People can do what they want, obviously, but my preference when it comes to dialogue is to opt for shorter posts going back and forth. That doesn't mean one line of dialogue counts as a post, this isn't free after all, so you'll have to make some effort to show how your character is reacting, what they're thinking of what someone is saying, etc.

Oftentimes collaboration posts can cause problems if someone disappears mid-post and the other person is left with their (respective genitalia) left hanging in the wind. If you go back and forth it mitigates the risk of that. You have some freedom to get out of it if need be.

But if collaboration posts work best for you and you think you can deliver them in a timely fashion, do that. "Whatever works," basically.

@FantasyChicHey, I never said I wouldn't be up for some Ivy/Harley shenanigans. I just didn't think they should know each other pre IC. That was all. They can totally meet on the first post though. (Pending acceptance)
