Benjamin
Benjamin sighed as he looked to the city in the distance, ignoring most of the bickering among the passengers for a long time until a few gunshots rang through the air finally catching his attention. Looking towards the troublemakers, was three people whom he didn't care much to take note of any of their particular details. Sighing as he turned back to the city in front of them, he pulled out a notebook and a mechanical pencil before he began reviewing his notes with his eyes still captured on the island ahead of them.
So far what he knew of the place, it was a populated island of sorts with a few towns in some areas, and towards the south end of the island was Golla City a metropolis on an island. That for one was shocking as he wondered silently how did the place even begin, as he looked at a few of the ruins visible on the island. Guessing from the large area the dense jungles of this island covered, Benjamin expected there to be more hidden deeper within the jungles. The ruins he guessed were Roman in nature, with its architecture having noticeable similarities which gave clues and hints with its arches and columns littered at the sight. Besides from what lied in the past of the island which was another topic to be explore on at a latter date, there was also the current situation of the island to be examined as well.
At the current state of the island from what he could discover was quite... concerning to put it in the lightest term possible. Crime rate was quite high with the loose hand of the law here, everything here was quite 'iffy' to put it to terms. Signs of Drug Trading have been noticed on the island and 'public disputes' have been common incidents here but the reasons for why these crimes were being ignored was quite obvious. Golla City was a place far from the confines of society and thus more 'abnormal' crime was much more common, with the gathering of people such as himself and other people. The idea of crimes of more magical nature were being committed here, was quite a frightening prospect to think about but pushed it to the back of his mind as he closed his notebook.
Concluding all the tangible facts that he could collect of this island. He sighed as he finally released the gaze of his eyes on the city, moving away from the front of the ship as he returned his attention back to the troublemakers on the ship. There were three... and perhaps two more involved with the incident, as one was definitely guilty of drawing the crowd with the statement of throwing bets to see who would win and another with a bag who seemed clearly interested in the other three whom attempted to stop the fighting right after the crew-members got to them. He sighed silently hoping that they wouldn't meet latter as they seemed to be a troublesome group even if they weren't related or friends.
