@Sep Ohhh, not a fan of legacy characters then?

I am. Though with who they replaced Hulk with? And how he is portrayed... he just isn't Hulk to me.

I am fine with other legacies, just this one 'ere just don't sit right by me.

@GowiUDC?

Ultimate DC. It was like this, but only DC characters and allowed for reinvention (which people took too liberally, myself included with Red Rocket).

I see. Probably before I became a thing on the superhero scene. (Or even RPG. I've been on/still am on a few sites)

@Sep As in Wally West? Bart? Any others? Haha.

For me it's probably the Kyle Rayner Green Lantern.

Trying to think of the next scene for the Kaznia arc. Hit a bit of wall after Giganta.

Why her?

I suppose outside of Peter Parker, she's the teenaged character I identify with the most from my childhood. I loved DCAU's interpetation where she was a bit brash, overconfident, and still very dynamic. Superman: TAS actually got me into picking up Superman and Supergirl comic books, so that is a lot of it. I write Kara (when I'm allowed to play her) a bit different than that but still quintessential Supergirl, but I love to do it. In fact, if I run into a wall with Captain Marvel I might end up going that route if allowed with some of my weirder ideas written out. I do need to get back on the horse with Diana though who I am trying to get back writing (watched the animated movie and JLU over).

Shoot me a PM if you want to talk it over or something. Maybe we can figure something out. Two brains are better than one, and all that noise.

Well, I feel kind of bad now. I intended to get my next Ivy post up... but I goofed off instead. :(

EDIT:
It's all written. You just don't get it until I get the OK from some people. I've only gotten 1/3. :|

Favorite legacies, eh? Ultimate Spider-Woman, hands down. It's a weird symbiotic relationship where she was one of the first characters I roleplayed, so I fell in love with those stories, and then my love of those stories made me want to read more about the canon character, and so it became an infinite feedback loop.

I'm with @Gowi in my love of Kara Zor-El. She's my choice for DC, if it's not Dick Grayson. He's just such a great foil to Bruce Wayne, he's got the obvious ties to the Bat-family, the Titans, and the Outsiders. Plus, who doesn't love some Dick now and then?

You've always got to be such a hipster, Eddie. Why can't you just say Wally West like everybody else? Goddamn beatnik.

Legacies:

DCU: Damian
DCAU: Garfield Logan (Teen Titans, Young Justice)
Marvel: Katie Power

Edit: I should add that at a certain point in the 90's I started growing apathetic to Tim Drake. Growing up in the 80's, I recall Jason as Robin and Death in the Family, but was still collecting a variety of titles including the Robin solo series and particularly enjoyed the introduction of Spoiler. But the Tim/Steph story just seemed to drudge down into Days of Our Lives kind of shit and Tim just became utterly uninteresting to me.
