LUX GOSLING
Novice Pokemon Trainer
Gender: Male ( gender neutral or male pronouns ) Age: 12 Hometown: Celadon City ( recently moved to New Amber Town. currently travelling. )
Appearance: Standing at a rather willowy 5'4", Lux is a bit tall for his age -- something he absolutely hates, since it causes people to mistake him for being older than he really is. His skin's pretty much permanently sunburned looking, which clashes rather horribly with his turquoise eyes and the obviously bleached blonde mess that is his hair. It's.... clearly been lobbed off with a pair of scissors, he's not even trying. Otherwise though, physically, he's not very interesting looking.
Lux's attire is usually very practical and will change depending on location, but he does seem to have a thing for dress shirts. (Yes, he ruins them on a regular basis, and yes, he's willing to spend money buying new ones.) He carries a knapsack with him, with a Pokeball keychain attached to one of the zippers.

Rory
Lux received Rory as a birthday gift from one of his cousins in Kanto, who, conveniently enough, had connections to Team Rocket (and by extension, the Game Corner). Despite it having the inability to develop feelings / do anything outside of its programming, he's pretty attached to the thing. It's usually used for practical jokes and pranks, but is also used to steal data and info as he sees fit.

Skip ♂
The newest addition to Lux's team, and his first actual catch. He's recently realized he's quite useful for breaking windows and the like, so he's a bit more of a field Pokemon than a battling one. (Unfortunately, though, he's not quite strong enough yet to fly while carrying a human.)
Luc ♂
Although Lux originally just got him as an inside joke, he's grown on him and is now a battling member of the team. He's also put his sharp teeth to good use, calling on him whenever something needs to be gnawed through.
Personality: Lux is pretty much what people would consider to be an overly mischievous child with all the wrong goals and an intense obsession with the idea of getting into Team Rocket. Despite him constant poking fun at people (especially friends), he's generally very open to meeting new trainers and forming friendships (??). (They're more like partners in crime, really.) The only exception to this is younger children (9 and under) -- he considers them below him. His demeanor usually leans towards being on the jolly side, seeing how he sees everything as a joke. It's pretty hard to get on his nerves, so if you somehow do set him off, you know you've messed up big time. Unfortunately, he also comes with quite a bit of arrogance -- just don't get him ranting on anything, or he'll never shut up.
Goal: Lux's (recently acquired) goal is to, with his Porygon, steal something useful enough to finally convince his cousins he's competent enough to join Team Rocket. It's pretty doubtful he'll actually get that off the ground, though, since he barely knows what he's doing. Otherwise, he's just there to prank people and have a good time.
Route 701: New Amber Town <-> Vertigo City - A forest covered route that treads over a few hills along the way. It will take several hours and sometimes a day or two to walk, luckily there is a Pokemon Center along the way.
Everyone is getting to Vertigo City SUPER quickly. The people traveling by foot are NOT going to get there any time soon.
@Ninian Yeah I assumed it took a day by walking, and several hours (probably meaning 3-4 hours.) By like car or by flying pokemon. My characters Dragonite, WAS flying him pretty fast to the city, I'd like to think he's at least halfway there before he had to start walking again. But that is still a long time, but it isn't sundown for my characters and by the end of the day, my character probably would already be at the city. That's my logic anyway.
I mean yeah do what you want but basically my point is besides potentially your character and @Sketcher, no one's going to be there. The farthest anyone's gotten so far was the Pokemon Center at the halfway point. Just saying if you guys want some character interaction... it's not going to happen with the majority of the players.
@Ninian Yeah, understandable I suppose. Well my character will probably hang around in the town for a while, probably until everyone arrives. It does sort of make sense that all characters would meet here, maybe an event could happen in said city to unite all the players?
I mean if about a day has past in the RP (since @Shiny Keldeo's time is at sundown), most people SHOULD be pretty close by then reasonably, or least get there before next sunrise, if they don't stop to take a break. If it takes a day by walking there. It just will take a little time.
My group has a guy using a cane and a girl in a wheelchair. It's also not sundown for them, it's around 4-5PM, and still Day 1. That said, I would pretty much bet anything they're going to spend the night at the Pokemon Center; they're not going to be making good time. I really would rather not timeskip with my group either, since they just met and character interaction is important. They will EVENTUALLY make it to Vertigo City, certainly... it just might be a while, you know?
@Ninian Yeah I understand, some getting to the city while others rest stay at the pokemon center. I don't think we have to rush, or do anything like a time skip. I don't mind taking our time until we all meet as a group.
Hi there, and I just wanted to know what happened to the trio legendaries (three birds, three beasts, etc.) Or guys like Mew/two. Are they still available, or are they not allowed to be bonded with? If this was already brought up before, I'm sorry.
So far the only allowed legendaries are the one on the list. Most of the other ones, including Mew, have been shot down. I believe Keldeo plans to update the list sometime to perhaps include more.
As for Megas, a normal one is fine. Custom ones are just a part of the main plot.
@Sketcher I will certainly try to post something today. Friend over for the weekend so might miss it, will see if I can get myself to the city in that time and then we can interact. :P
Yeah, sorry I broke my phone so I had to come home this weekend which altered all of my plans and ability to post. Might be able to work up something tomorrow (Maybe tonight?) but I'm not sure about that since tomorrow is an unknown factor. As usual Mondays are terrible times because of class going till five, but I'm free Tuesday. Sorry everything has gotten so busy with school lately!
