Felix Smoke stared after the student. He registered that cheery persona but could see the anger and hurt in the boy's eyes. The healer sighed. This'll make for an interesting conversation later on... Kyle's voice brought him out of his reverie.
"I didn't mean to be harsh on him..." The apologetic tone made the regret obvious. A pang of guilt struck Felix himself as he was reminded of Kyle's innate telekinetic abilities. A stark contrast to his own specialisms they complimented one another so much that he often forget the struggle of his friend to control such immense power. "Should I apologize to him? After that we can go find Mase if you want."
Felix turned to see the glistening adorable expression on his friend's face and all his disapproval melted away. He was initially confused, he'd never seen his friend like this before. They'd known one another for around a decade and Kyle had always been the stronger, more certain of the pair. But he didn't let the concern show. He hide it well and smiled comfortingly, moving his hand down Kyle's arm to grasp his hand with both hands in reassurance. "Don't worry about it." he tried to reassure. "You know I have a good relationship with him, I'll be sure to have a word with him later." He gave the hand a squeeze as he joked: "He might even like you if he knew how powerful you were Professor." His smile stretched into a grin and he let go of Kyle's hand to dig his elbow into those toned ribs.
His eyes flicked away to a commotion at the side of the auditorium and he rolled his eyes. "No need to go looking for Mase. That blonde mess in the middle of the fuss over there is my brother..." He had long ago stopped interfering in his brother's life, but ever protective he'd keep abreast of the situation and would always be there for advice if his brother ever needed him. "So what are you up to now given they have a free day to settle in?"
