On the 22nd of June 1941, a invasion was launched. Nazi Germany controled most of Europe at the moment but there was only one nation in Europe that could possibly threaten their dominance(other than England) and that was Stalin's massive Soviet Union. Earlier, at the start of the war, the two nations worked together to crush Poland and split it in half later as a show of friendship between nations.

However, Stalin knew that war was imminent between the two nations and started to modernize the Sovier Union's armies. However, with the Battle of England lost, the Nazi's turned towards Russia as their next target, an invasion would come at any day... and on the 22nd the army of the Nazi's invaded with their full might, catching the unprepared and underequipped Russian army by surprise.

The IC will arrive soon, what I need to tell you is that while I can start all the German players in one place, it would be a massive disadvantage towards the few Russian players and the Russian NPC's, so to make it slightly more fair, the Russians in Choroscz will have a T-34 tank with them, controlled by me.

Also, note to the Russian players, you will be randomly placed on the front, so you might not start in the same village as the Germans.

I'm sorry for not getting this up yet, but it's becoming hard for me to come up with a impactful start when most of the players here are officers and not regular soldiers. When I first played this RP on a different site it was enjoyable because most of the players there regular soldiers or corporals at best and it showed their struggles during the war, something which I liked.

That's what I imagined when I first brought this RP here on this site, a place where most of the players would play regular soldiers, not officers or platoon commanders, but many of the players became leaders of their own platoons. At first I didn't mind if one or two players did it, but before I knew it, almost all of the german players were in charge of platoons of 30 soldiers/tanks and it puts a great strain on me playing this many soldiers at the same time...

What I'm saying here is:

- I will not quit this game, I have devoted myself to turning it into a RP and I intend to do it no matter what.

- I ask of all platoon leaders to either PM me, or tag me in this thread at how they want to start. If the single players have a general idea of how they want to start then they can PM me as well, for them however, I have mostly come up with a start for them.

I apologise, but then again in my defence, you never previously specified any cap on ranks, or even the nature of the RP - other than that it was about Germany vs Russia, and that players could alter the course of the war.

Now secondly, you've got two choices here. You can ask me to disband the company, and I will - but I'll leave... not in a rage or angry way, just in a sort of "urgggggh" way. Or, you can leave things as they are, and hear me out:

Let anyone start anywhere they want, just as you intended. See the panzergrenadierkompanie merely as one part of a much larger conflict, and do not get too hung up on trying to ensure that it doesn't God mod all over the show. Aint gonna happen. I will be in contact with all Russian players who choose to start off in the panzergrenadierkompanie's assault area, to ensure that no one gets upset about anything and that everything is fair and orderly.

In fact to make things easier, why don't you make me a co-GM, and let me take care of every little thing that's going on in my corner of the world? That'll take everything off you plate, and allow you to focus elsewhere.

In any case, I'm sure we can work something out. What are your thoughts?

Don't take it the wrong way, I'm not angry, I'm just a bit stressed, so here's how this will be. Since the German players are all in the Panzergrenadierkompanie and you effectively came up with the idea, then I will let you be the co-gm and you will dictate what happens within the company.

Meanwhile, I'll take all the Russian players and the German players that haven't joined your company and GM for them, if any of the two meet(for example a Russian player meets with a German from the Panzergrenadierkompanie, then I'll GM for that time, but other than that you will have control over what fate your company will meet. Also, just to make it a bit easier, the name of leader of the German 9th army(where your company is) Adolf Straub.

Does this sound good to you?
