I am interested in writing out a story-driven roleplay, something with direction, and especially apocalyptic/post-apocalyptic genres (in the same spirit of Fallout, The Strain, or an original zombie or sci-fi apocalypse scenario).
Just something gritty and dark with direction and goals, whether the goal is finding and fortifying an outpost once the world has gone to hell and trying to run supply missions/recruit survivors from there, trying to find and stop the source of the outbreak, or finding a safe haven. It doesn't have to be a mission to save the world, it can be a mission to save the characters themselves, but I'd like to plot and execute missions along the story. I'm also open to writing out NPCs as the story progresses. I have an interest in writing a longer-term roleplay, but not one that will stagnate or have no conflict.
Post Length: I usually write a few paragraphs or more. I will mirror my partner, but prefer a few paragraphs at least.
Age: 18+ preferred. I am 25 myself and just prefer someone closer to my age.
Gender: I can play either
Size: 1-on-1 or 3 max players
Speed: At least once a week
Realism: Sci-Fi and Fantasy preference
Timeline: Modern or Future-based
Regarding Fandoms: I am open to using an existing setting that I'm familiar with (or where my lack of familiarity can be worked around), but I don't want to use cannon characters from it. I'd rather write original characters and follow their stories and blaze their trail. I prefer things like Fallout, Supernatural, or the Strain, but I don't participate in Pokemon and similar rps.
Limitations: Not interested in playing animals/pokemon (excludes werewolves and fantasy races). While I'm not opposed to romantic elements, I'm not actively seeking them. I'm open to it as it makes sense within the story and the characters have chemistry, but not at the expense of having it consume every scene.
