The long and short of what I have so far, is that an incredibly powerful cosmic agency. Whether a group or individual is not disclosed, summons every great warrior throughout time and space.

Living or dead, born or unborn.

To a world that is similar to Battleworld from Marvel's Secret Wars.

These warriors number in the millions, and created a society on this planet that is constantly changing and growing. New continents rise and fall, though some stay eternal.

A patchwork world where warriors live, thrive, die, and are reborn countless times. Grudges are held and given up, revenge and forgiveness.

It's a world created by powerful beings for powerful beings, to give them a place where they belong. Rather than among the lesser beings of the Multiverse.



The world would kind of look like this, except it would always be growing. I'd have to explain how the gravity doesn't change, but I've got a few ideas.

It's definitely a work in progress, but I've got ten or twelve hours left before I sleep.

I'm getting League of Legends vibes.

Technically, but in this setting you'd have some sort of grudge or motivation against the opponent. Rather than simply being a violent sociopath with a long history of violence.

I did, I'm trying to see how many people would be interested in a new Multiverse not based off of the Nexus of Worlds.

@LeeRoyImpressive work on that. I think that is perfect for those wanting to have a good place/explanation/multivers-y thing for areas that aren't combat for their characters.

Buuuut...

The arena should become universally accepted as a mass of interconnected multiverses populated by the greatest combatants in existence, with infinite continuities to explain how some characters fight in other timelines or realms after death. If your thingamabob helps bring that about, I'm all for it.

If nothing else I'll show up and read the newspaper.

That gave me an idea. A multiverse newspaper that posts about various battles we have so people can be up to date on the latest events all in one place. I could have a ninja-like teleporting character who has special vision powers so can see many of what goes on, if people are fine with such a character able to see them but not interfere. Or we could have sections of the newspaper that outsides don't know about and is just for our sake.

Started to say, we already have a shtick for going into other worlds. In that idea it would simply be shinra slapping a base in there and it given a sector number.

I actually totally support that idea. It would turn the Arena into a more personable place. News reports, factions, actually showing the personalities of the characters.

I suppose the wait is for other people to announce their interest in the idea. I did call as many people as I know in the Arena, so like. That's what the wait is for.

We can also have other news clipings of short stories people want to feature about their character, such as the time they saved some cat from a tree as an example. Just some character development stuff. And showing off new battlegrounds we can use in disguise as weather reports...although I'm not sure people post weather reports in newspapers due to it constantly changing, but whatever.

The MNM could call weather in for different settings, so that the battlefields wouldn't always be bright sunny days or cold rainy nights.
