With their commander nowhere in sight, the russian soldiers begin retreating into the buildings of the outpost, from which the soldiers get a better cover to shoot the incoming germans. Of course, he could also order a full retreat as it seems that the tide of enemy soldiers is quite endless. There are currently three trucks situated next to the building his men were placed in, there would probably be enough space for all of them if they didn't care for space.

"Comrade, we need to inform the High Command of this!" of the retreating soldiers said to Dimitri. "There's a radio inside the building, hurry comrade!"

@Zetsuko

"Why you little!" the soldier shouted and was about to swing a punch when one of the two german soldiers stops him and glares. "Ve are allies, not enemies!" he shouts. "Even so, vhwat will you be able to accomplish if you punch him?" he asks. "Do you think your territory will be handed back to you if you punch one hungarian soldier?"

The romanian pulled his arm and sat back in his place, glaring at Levente with a murderous look.

"Try not to piss them off, my friend, we don't want the army to divide itself up so early." Levente's partner spoke. "After we've beaten the russians, you can taunt and tease them all you want, but not now..."

And as if time warped around them, they were already away from the base they captured and all that could be seen, were German trucks, tanks and motorcycles. Above them, german fighter planes and bombers flew above them. While a small portion of the army was headed to take Bessarabia, they were headed towards another target, the city of Odessa.

Dimitri took off at full speed to the building with the radio in. as he reached it he saw a fellow russian blown back from the window, another instantly taking his place. he ran for the Radio, quickly changing the frequency to that of high command. "High command this is the Ukrainian border outpost. We have been over run by the germans, there is no sign of the commander and were suffering heavy casualties. please advise." just as he finished he turned to look out the door and saw a german shoot his fellow comrade, he pulled out his sidearm taking three shots at him. the first entering his right shoulder, the second entering his knee and the final one entering his skull sending him through the window.

Out of the brush on the West end of the battlefield, three German soldiers lugging heavy gear stumbled as the equipment got caught on the branches. This was the Pioneer squad sent out by the logistical commander to bring the German Panzers back to field capacity. Obergefreiter Abeln, Gefreiter Hertz, and Gefreiter Kulner entered the field searching for wrecks, and plenty were scattered around, though they sought to find the Panzer III they were called to mend. It took only a few seconds for them to notice the wrecked Panzer lying in the field, and they rushed up to its track, and set their equipment up.

Hertz began detaching the damaged track sections as Kulner prepared other interchangeable track sections to replace them. Sgt. Abeln, however, worried about the crew, not as though he knew them, but rather as to where they may be. It took some effort, but with a focused eye he nailed the tank crew behind some destroyed Soviet tank a good distance away from them. As the corporals begin removing pieces from the tank, Abeln made his way into yelling distance of the tank crew and called them; it took a few tries, but one of the crewman noticed him and nodded to the commander of the Panzer, and the crew made its way back to the Pioneer team.

When they got to the tank, they immediately pestered the Pioneers. "What took you so long? The battle has gone and left us!" whined one of the crewmen, "Why aren't you done yet?!"

"We just got here, and this isn't exactly easy," Abeln replied, "Every one of the track sections hit by the shell need to be removed and replaced with a new one, and we might not even have enough to fix the whole track."

"What do you mean 'not enough'? You didn't bring enough?! I thought you were supposed to be a Pioneer because you knew what you were doing," barked another crewman.

Cpl. Hertz turned, "Do you know how to replace a 12-cylinder engine block?" he calmly scolded, "I bet not, so unless you know how to operate welding equipment, where do you people keep the treads your supposed to have on the Panzer?"

The tank commander stepped forward, "Yes, the extra sections are next to my seat, in between me and the drivers seat." Cpl. Kulner clambered into the tank to retrieve the sections."

"So will our tank be operational anytime soon?" complained the last crewman.

"Depends on if you want it 'good' or 'done'," Kulner replied as he dumped the track sections out of the turret, "For all we know, the battle could end before the entire tank is replaced, unless you boys want to start unscrewing the broken bits."

The crewmen looked at each other for a moment, then grabbed some tools and began unhitching the damaged treads.

Character: Hauptmann Moritz Greiter
Location: South West of Choroszcz
With: @Kurai Assassin@MrMinerGuy142@Zetsuko@DiZL ReloadeD

The Russians threw all they had left into stopping Moritz' panzers from driving onwards; waves of suicidal infantry charges crashed against an impassable barrier of HE and machinegun fire. Many of them were unarmed; some carried AT grenades, others just pelted the tanks with small arms fire - in both cases, all efforts proved ultimately futile.

"So wasteful," Moritz remarked, as he watched a Russian officer reduced to red mist as he attempted to restart another failed charge. "Why are they fighting like this? There's no honour here."

The three panzers pushed on, reaching the edge of the woodland. By now, dozens of dead Russian soldiers lay in their wake, with scores more wounded. More Russians had attempted to set up firing positions from the houses ahead, but every time they revealed themselves, Moritz' panzers would send a volley of HE in their direction.

Moritz tuned his radio into the mechanised infantry's command, "Sperling, where are your panzergrenadiers? We've got these Russian morons well and truely beat. All we need to do now, is launch a final attack on the town, and we'll have them broken all the way to Moscow... but the panzers can't do it without your support. What is your current status over at the farm? Over."

Sperling and his men were almost done with cleaning the farm from russian soldiers. "Herr Hauptmann! Hauptmann Greiter is asking for backup for the last assault to drive the russians out of this town!" A soldier in his personal halftrack yelled. Looking out of a window on the first floor he replied "Tell him that we will catch up with him as soon as we are done here!"

After a few more minutes of fighting the farm was finally taken over by Sperlings Panzergrenadiers. They didn't stay long however, as soon as they were done, Rudolf and his men mounted the halftracks to catch up with Hauptmann Greiter. As they were on the move Sperling contacted Leutnant Jager "Leutnant Jager, the farm is clear. You can advance your support weapons there if you'd like to. Sperling over and out."

As they finally catched up with Greiters Tanks, Rudolfs Halftrack stopped besides Greiters tank. "Mechanised Platoon A has catched up and is ready to roll out." Rudolf informed Greiter once more with his radio.

Character: Hauptmann Moritz Greiter
Location: Outskirts of Choroszcz

Greiter's panzers continued to lay down weathering fire into the houses opposite their positions; many of the structures had started to succumb to the strain of continuous HE rounds and machine gun bullets, and were beginning to collapse in places. Even so, their Russian defenders seemed undeterred, and kept up their return fire the best they could.

"Glad to finally have you with us," Moritz remarked into the radio, addressing the mechanised infantry. "It's simple really. Take your boys into those houses, clear out the rats, and push into the field beyond. Myself and Oberleutnant Hanz Adalhard will provide close fire support - we'll follow you lot right into the belly of the beast, but will not advance beyond your positions. Ready when you are!"

Not wanting his comrades to get hit by friendly mortar fire, Moritz tuned the radio to the Support Platoon. "Jager, cease the mortar fire, and for Christ sake's bring up those machine guns. I want fire superiority - pin down everything and anything, until the infantry can flush them out with grenades!"

"Yes Hauptmann, we will be up with you shortly" he turned off his Radio and continued up with his Machine gun teams. "Mortar Cease Fire now." He came in line with Greiters panzer brigade and dropped to the floor quickly to begin firing a barrage at the fleeing russians
