3rd Person-

Tristan left the others to the talking he cared very little for any of it. He watched as Deucalion mumbled nervously to Arya and how Jainus argued over the mission itself being an impossibility. Eiko grounded the reason we were here and reinforced the orders from up top like she always did back in the academy but now she seemed much more impatient and Jainus seems too doubtful, Deucalion was too nervous and Eve looked like she didn't even know who she was and couldn't make a single decision on her own. This mission would be a wreak if they didn't start to trust each other and the mission, soon. Then all of a sudden the air shifted. He felt it even before Arya and could see the moment she felt it. The look on her face was pure dread, as it should be. Tristan had faced this before and knew what was coming. The Wild Hunt. He had faced them before, and last time had given him a few reminders of what they could do, a signature on his skin. Tristan waited for Arya's command on what to do next and as soon as she spit out the orders he rushed grabbing Eiko and Mentis and shielded them from any projectiles as they ran to the ship. He knew Arya and Jainus could take care of themselves, Deucalion was already on his way in and the pink one flew out of his reach before he could cover her safely into the airship. As the chaos unfolded he kept composed and thought of his every exact next move making sure no movement was faulty and that he got everyone he could into the ship safely. He followed Arya through the door with Eiko and Mentis just infront of him.

The girls eye's widened in surprised when she suddenly sensed something right next to her.

'what the!?-'

'-F*ck!'

She tensed up and readied to throw a devastating punch towards a possible threat but stopped when she found herself in Jainus's arms, her tension vanished as she raised a confused brow towards him. More so when they were teleported to the docking port on the Invincible.

'w-what?-'

'-The F*ck?!'

When she was set down she listened to Jainus with wide open eye's, completely bewildered at this mans words as he walked away from her.

'... the second I get out... he is so getting punched...'

"..... what just happened?"

'what just happened?! I'll tell you what just happened! That Idiot Just Stole Our-, I-I Mean Put Everyone's Lives In Danger! Quick! Back Outside!'

"Right!"

Without a second thought the girl raised her right hand towards her face and put her index and middle finger to the center of her forehead as she closed her eye's while she focused on one of the crew members outside the ship. But before anything could happen Tristan came running into the ship with Eiko and Mentis just in front of him. The girl's eye's widened slightly in surprise as the sight.

'oh... well, problem solved'

She thought to herself with a small smile.

'grrrrrRRRRAAA-'

'okay! come on! please stop yelling!'

'-AHHH!!!.....'

'sheesh, what was that for?'

'nothing...'

The cloaked girl shook her head slightly before following Ayra and the others.

Mentis had been keeping to himself the whole time, poking his index fingers together, with his head lowered, and his eyes shyly cast up at the group. While the others got antiquated with each other, or otherwise gave annoyed glares. This is why he chose to stay out of conversation, unless of course someone approached him, there was less chance of annoying others that way.
He didn't really know how he could contribute anyway, he had no muscles to flex, weapons to parade about or abilities to show off. No unless someone got hurt, he was pretty much useless, unless one of them wanted someone they could talk to. He had always been a good listener, or so he has been told.

Because of his observing the others, Mentis knew immediately when someone was wrong he could see them tense as they seemed to either sense something, or notice something off in the distant. Mentis found himself growing nervous again, in reaction to others, and glanced over to Arya as she gave the order for everyone to get into the ship. Mentis would have managed to get there on his own, though it might have taken him a while, as he would have politely stood aside and let everyone else on first, it was only good manners despite the situation. This didn't come to be however, as the boy felt himself being grabbed by another.

"Uh?..oh, ok"
His voice was barely audible as he fell into a sort of ragdoll state, letting himself be dragged and ushered towards the ship, with no resistance to the one grabbing him. As they got to the ship, Mentis quickly stumbled through the door, and off to the side to get out of everyone's way, though he stopped and turned to face Tristan, smiling to the larger man with much gratitude.

"Thank you, Tristan"
he spoke quietly, probably wouldn't even be heard over all the noise and chaos. The boy then turned his attention to the others, watching again quietly, as they all managed to get themselves onto the ship one way or another. He was relieved for a time, though knew that until they all settled down, they were still in danger.

Something was happening. Deucalion looked around and flexed his fingers. It took awhile for the large man to realize what it was. The temperature was dropping. Normally that wouldn't be cause for worry. Changes in the amount of ambient heat floating around happened all the time. Sometimes in seconds due to clouds or other natural events, but this was way too cold, way too damn fast to be anything less than something completely other worldly. He looked down at the rest of the group, fist balled and waited to see how'd everyone would react. They didn't do too badly, but he would've preferred working with individuals that reacted first and left the questions and comments till well after whatever immediate danger was going on was past.

With a huff he stepped into the ship and took a seat.

Arya rushed into the pilot's seat and strapped herself in, her breath coming out in misty clouds now as the temperature was now slightly under freezing point. She checked her watch, then pushed with all her strength on the yolk. The huge engines on the back of the Invincible fired up with an almost deafening, roaring noise and the ship bolted out of the hangar. She could feel the vast magic of the base's defenses coming online, almost completely nullifying the frosty cold the Hunt had brought with them. But if they didn't get out before the wards finished coming up, they would be unable to leave until the invasion was finished. Arya for a moment wished they had been given a different ship, the Nautilus. It was smaller, but was the fastest ship in the force. "C'mon, a little faster!" She growled, yanking on the yolk. The jets on the bottom of the ship came online with a roar, and it rocketed into the sky, just narrowly escaping the wards as they finished their startup sequence, the walls of the base glowing with power. At the base of the walls there looked to be an whole army of monsters.
"So it's begun." She panted as the ship flew away from the gathering forces and Idris. "This is why the brass said they would be unable to give backup". Realization dawned on her face. "They were the ones who leaked it. They drew them here so we'd have a chance at succeeding in our mission." Idris could hold them off for as long as necessary, as long as it had its wards and thick walls. But, eventually the Hunt would realize what had happened, and turn their attention towards the team. Hopefully, they'd be ready for it when it happened.

Once inside, the chaos cooled down. Literally, It was getting colder by the second. We had to get out of here. Tristan acknowledged Mentis' thanks with a nod and ushered them forward. Tristan and Deucalion brought up the rear as they headed for the bridge. When we got the the bridge he felt the roar of the engines come to life and rushed to the Co-Pilot position. "Permission for take off?" said Tristan as Arya kept accelerating "Permission granted! Get out of here!" Said the Air Traffic Controller. As the Infinity lifted off the ground and started to rush away Tristan reported back once more before they left "Infinity One, Away!" And the ship took off. Tristan took a millisecond to think of all the flight deck crew that might have just gotten pulverized. He immediately returns to work and turns to check the squad. Tristan went around the group asking if any needed medical attention. When he was through he reported back to Arya that no one had any major injures and that the squad was in perfect condition and ready to go. after that he went to inspect the crew of the bridge and when they were all doing what they were supposed to he turned and headed for the door.

Eiko made it onto the ship last, she walked up calmly right before it took off, when she was on the ship; she changed over to her field gear quickly and calmly. Unlike Arya who was running, rushing and panicking in a way, Eiko was calm, silent, and collected, she had her sub machine gun in her arms, the calm pale woman left the room she was changing in and began slowly walking around the ship; as the ship took off, Eiko didn't stumble into a guard rail as the ship hurried out of the hanger.

" Shes rushing and shouldn't be." Eiko said aloud talking to no one in particular. The cold air in the sky didn't do anything to deter Eiko, as she slowly went to the bridge and noticed that Arya piloting the ship, the pale woman walked over to Arya's shoulder." What's the meaning of this early, and hasty take off ?" Eiko asked Arya.

Arya turned her eyes towards Eiko and smiled weakly. "The wards. We had to get off the base before the wards came up, otherwise we'd be stuck there indefinitely." She tapped on a screen on the control panel a couple times and a birds eye view came up of the besieged base, showing the thousands of beasts and monsters throwing themselves against the glowing walls. "The brass tipped off the Wild Hunt to bring them to Idris. They're distracting them to let us work." She explained. Eyeing the GPS, she let off on the yolk, the ship slowing down considerably. "So now, we have to do our part. There's laptops with access to the SDF databases in the store room, and reference materials in the library. We need to figure out our next move, since we don't have forever. You and the others can take this time to rest and do some research. Come to me if you find anything that may be worth looking into."

Tristan overheard Eiko and Arya talking about the research that needed to be done, however even thought it would be helpful to have another working on the same project Tristan saw it as a tad redundant. Instead he went to the Armory to arm himself so that he could get used to weight of the weapons he would need for the next encounter of the Wild Hunt. As he exited the bridge he glanced back one more time. Tristan made his way down to the Armory with so much going through his mind, Eiko, Mentis, Jainus, For the first time in a long time Tristan was confused. "Why was I put on this team? No. I know why Im here. Why are THEY here. I could do this with my regular killsquad. I dont need this mis-matched band of mis-fits! Am I being punished? Why? Why? WHY!?" Tristan forced the thought out of his head. He had reached the Armory. He started looking around, everything was covered in tarps and strapped down. He found the most regular looking mass and lifted the tarp just enough to see the tag. "Runes" it read, He let the tarp back down. Again he looked for a normal mass of tarp and lifted it. "Sniper Rifles." Tristan smiled. "This is more my speed." he said as he started to open the box. He thumbed through the sorted Sniper Rifles and found his personal favorite, The FN Ballista. A lightweight Sniper that can fire any modified round that is .338 caliber, which is also a small light devastating round. He looked around a bit more and found some Assault Rifles, One of which was a SIG SG 550 a three round burst with incredible accuracy. Satisfied with his finds he started to return to the bridge when he noticed a crew member peaking under an unusual mass of tarp. "What's under there?" He asked the crew member. "To be honest sir, I have no idea." said the crew member. Tristan just nodded took a peak and made a note to ask Arya about it. He kept heading towards the bridge and stopped for a short moment to talk to another crew member and asked what mission he was told he was going on and if they were missing any of the crew. He said that the orders were to just keep the ship in the air no matter what and that some of the crew was left behind but they had enough to be effective. Again Tristan just nodded and continued on. He wandered the ship for a while that day, checking on the squad periodically and taking walks, with or without people to join him. He did this while he waited for orders on every other mission as well as this one unless he was the one giving orders. It gave him time to think. Tristan liked to think.

Eiko took in Arya's words carefully, and watched as if she was scanning the entire base as it came under attack." Well a little heads up would've been nice, pretty stupid of them to just let themselves be attacked this way." Eiko said aloud." But it's better than getting held down and stopped from doing what we need to do." Eiko told her. The pale woman put the sub machine gun onto her back before saying." I'm not the type of person that does a lot of research Arya, I'm the type of person that gets things done, things other people can't do on their own, or have trouble completing. You understand ?" She asked the captain of the ship speaking to her as if she was either her equal subordinate. Eiko turned around and left the bridge to go back out onto the deck, she didn't feel as if she needed to rest so she just simply patrolled around the ship, if she felt like she had the time to, she would spar against the others to see their true skills.

Mentis who had been sitting in the corner, out of everyone's way this whole time and simply watching, as the others took charge of the situation. Decided that he should do something, other that look useless in the corner of the bridge, that wouldn't look very good to the others. So he quietly walked out from his small hiding spot, now that things were settling down a little, and the rest of the team were settling into their routine, the boy decided that he should go look for where he would be needed, which of course was the infirmary.

When he left the bridge and started to explore the ship, he soon found himself a little lost, he hadn't been in anything so big before. Aside from the hospital he and his foster father worked in, but he practically grew up in that hospital, with his poor health he couldn't spend to much time away from it when he was younger.
"Right" the boy spoke to himself "where do I go from here?" He looked between two corridors, they both looked exactly the same. He stopped for a moment, then picked a random path and continued on. While finding the infirmary, he would have to memorize the ships interior, it wouldn't do if he couldn't find his team in a crises, when they might need medical attention, that is what he was there for after all.

In the midst of all Tristan's exploring he started to get the lay of the land. He Just came from the armory which was right next to a small hanger bay, around the corner and down the hall was the infirmary and a little past that was the ships library or computer database. to the other side was lots of crew trenches and computer stations so that the crew could keep the bird in the air, past that was the bridge where everyone congregated and where Arya was at her control panel.

At one point he bumped into Eiko and had a small conversation after apologizing for almost knocking her over. He smiled at her, something he very rarely did and afterwards asked himself why he did that. with no explanation for himself he walk back towards the bridge in a confused, thoughtful manner. He almost kicked Mentis as they both rounded the corner, He again apologized for being so clumsy, even though he very gracefully dodged around Mentis leaving neither of them harmed and asked where he was headed. When he said the infirmary Tristan pointed him in the right direction and went on his way. "This is so bizarre." said Tristan thinking out loud. He took a seat on a bench in a hallway and took a second to inspect all the equipment he had just recently picked up.

As Arya had rushed into the pilot's seat and began strapping herself in The cloaked girl had wandered into the bridge along with the others, she looked around the room before she noticed something. It was getting cold, really cold, she knew it was getting cold outside but she had thought it to be the work of some fool who had messed with an unseen thermostat, but for it to be affecting the inside of the ship was somewhat concerning. The girl held her arms and rubbed them to warm them up a little.

'who works on the heating in this place?!'

'oh for the love of- it's whoever we're sensing that's causing this!'

'oh...'

The girl had a brief look of realisation on her before her eye's widened in surprise, the ship they were on had come to life as it's engines roared, the vessel shook as it quickly bolted out of the hanger.

"Yah!"

The girl had let out a short cry of surprise as she went tumbling forward from the sudden movement of the ship, it didn't help the she managed to trip on one of the tips of her cloak sending her to the floor with a soft thud. She groaned slightly out of annoyance and she sat on her knee's with a contemplative look under her hood.

'hehehehe-HaHAHAHA!!!'

'shut up! that's not funny!'

'of course it's funny! hahahaha!'

'it wouldn't be funny if it happened to you...'

'that's because it wouldn't happen to me'

'hmp!'

'oh lighten up! come on, it's not like that hurt'

'hey what's that?'

'huh?'

The girl looked out the bridges windows as she felt the magic on the base's defenses began activating, she began to stand up but before she could reach her full height the jets on the bottom of the ship activated forcing it upward. Once again the sudden change in direction caught the better of the girl as she felt herself losing her balance and being pushed back to the floor, landing on her rear with a thump. The girl just sat still with her arms crossed lightly as she pouted under her hood.

'......'

'.........pffff...'

'please don't...'

'... you're making it awfully difficult not to! heh-heh'

As soon as the girl got used to the ship new momentum she got to her feet and made her way over to one of the windows and looked out it, she found herself looking at the walls of the base, her eye's widening slightly at the sight down below.

'wow... that's a lot of monsters...'

'.... we could have taken them'

'I doubt that a little...'

'tch, you shouldn't...'

'well I do!, I know we're strong but... we're not that strong...'

'listen to yourself, you know how powerful we are... if you just let me help nothing could stand in our way! we'd be unstoppable!'

'I told you I'm not doing that again...'

'I keep telling you that was an accident!..... listen... if you ever decide you "might" need my help, I'll be right here... heh, not like I have anywhere else to go...'

'..... I'll think about it...'

'!!... thanks...'

As the ship sped away from Idris The cloaked girl turned around as she listened to the conversation between Eiko and Ayra. She raised a brow at the thought of her having to use a laptop.

'um... you wouldn't happen to know how to use a laptop would you?...'

'um... well, it can't be that hard........ right?...'

Then she hard something about a library.

'who the F*ck puts a library in an airship?'

'well... I guess we could look in the library if she needs us too...'

'aw do we have to?! reading is sooo boring!'

'we cant just sit around and do nothing, they need out help'

'they said they needed us to fight for them!, not to do their research! shouldn't they have already found the info they needed instead of just leaving it up to people they just met?!'

The girl looked down a little and she ever so slightly narrowed her brows.

'we're going to help them as best we can, if that means looking through a few books I think we can manage'

'.... okay fine! lets go read some F*cking books...'

With the team being free to move about the ship the girl looked to Arya for a few moments before heading out of the bridge to look for the supposed library to try and find anything that might help them on their mission.

Jainus sighed as he felt the familiar purr of the engines, bracing himself as he realized that the engines were firing up much faster than normal. A sudden shake of the craft as it zoomed out of the hanger caused him to thud against the wall of the hallway next to the crew quarters, where the squad would be sleeping when they could get the chance to do so. As the rumbling settled and the ship glided out to a safe distance, and Jainus regained his footing, he made his way to what might have been a mess hall to get some food and reenergize before the mission.

“God damn… I’m hungry...” Jainus grumbled as he grabbed a bowl of oatmeal and took it with him before venturing the rest of the ship to see what was available to him as far as gaining intel on the mission and if he could run into that girl he had saved earlier before the take off. He figured he’s just eat during his wanderings and take it easy until he was told to fight. The cold within the ship was subsiding as they got further from the base, but it was a bittersweet feeling, knowing that they would see worse that just a chill in the air. Jainus shrugged and ate his partially chilled oatmeal and kept wandering, wondering who he would run into first.

'...'

'...hmmm...'

'...'

'I'm starting to think that girl was lying about a library being on this ship...'

'yeah... me to...'

The cloaked girl walked around the corridors of the ship with a confused expression as she tried to locate the illusive library.

'... you know what? screw this, lets find something to eat...'

A quiet rumble echoed down the hall the girl was in before she put her right hand on her belly.

'yeah... we'll ask what's her name about the library after we get a bite to eat'

'hopefully the place where the food is kept is easier to find the this damn library'

The cloaked girl gave up on trying to find the supposed library and began her search for sustenance.

BANG

The cloaked girl froze in place as the sound of a gunshot rang down the hall, she quickly turned around to face the direction of the sound.

'that's not good...'

'oh no!'

Without hesitation she ran towards the sounds origin as fast as she could.

[seconds before the gunshot]

A rather large armored being was quietly walking down one of the halls of the ship, light reflected off it's armored body as it moved, it's heavy foot falls somehow managing to stay silent. As it rounded a corner it noticed a man sitting on a bench working on a firearm, the armored being then began walking towards the man. With little warning the mans weapon went off and fired a round into the hall, the bullet seemed damn near possessed as it danced around the metal corridor, ricocheting off the walls before finding it's target. The mans head jerked from the impact as the projectile pierced clean through his skull while making a mess of the wall behind him before proceeding to speed down the hall only to ricochet once more, the bullet raced towards the large being's head only to be stopped cold in it's armored hand bringing it's rampage to an end.

The armored man clenched it's hand tightly before lowering it's hand to it's side, dropping the crushed bullet to the floor. The armored man walked towards the unfortunate casualty and kneeled, bringing it's left hand to the mans face to close his eye's. The armored man then stood before looking down the hall to it's right, either oblivious or ignore the red liquid it got on it's hands from the fallen crew member.

'c'mon hurry up! we have to get there before what's his name does!'

'what does it matter if he gets there before us?! someone needs our!... o-our...'

The cloaked girl had finally arrived at the gunshots origin, and she wasn't expecting what she seen. A tall armored man stood in front of one of her teammates with it's left hand dripping blood. Her eyes widened in surprise as she took a shocked step back, one of the people on her team, one who was specifically selected for this mission because of their abilities, was now dead at the hands of an armored giant. She wasn't so much socked at the fact that a teammate that she hardly knew was just killed. What had her backing up was that this large and somewhat intimidating armored being who somehow got onto the ship without anyone knowing, just killed one of her teammates and she didn't know how it did it, or how powerful it was.

'whoa... he looks tough...'

'what should we do?!'

'well obviously we kick his *ss! and teach him not to mess with us!'

'what?!'

'you heard me!'

The girl grit her teeth as she narrowed her eye's, though she seemed focused she was actually having an internal debate. Meanwhile the Armored man tilted it's head slightly before looking at it's left hand, noticing the red substance slowly dripping away it help it along and shook off the remaining liquid. Knowing that the situation looked bad the being took a few steps towards the cloaked girl, stopping after said few steps before trying to explain itself.

"hey... calm down, this isn't what it looks like..."

The man calmly explained through it's helmet's external speakers while he somewhat raised his hands in a surrendering manner, The girl seemed to focus as she narrowed her eye's slightly.

"okay... why don't you tell me what happened then?"

'what are you doing?! attack him while he's off guard before he tries to kill us to!'

She asked as calmly as she could, her eyes looked like they were having a little difficulty staying on the armored man.

"it was an accident, his weapon misfired while he was working on it... it ricocheted and... you can see the results..."

With that said the armored man looked to the deceased crewmember's body before looking back to the cloaked girl while lowering his arms to his sides. The girl loosened up slightly before she looked around the hall, noticing the small dents in the walls, floor, and ceiling of the corridor, then there was what she guessed looked like a crushed bullet on the floor a few feet from the armored being.

'that's a total coincidence that those dents were there! there's no way that could've of happened! look how many times the bullet would have had to ricochet!'

'look at the evidence... his story checks out... he's not holding a weapon, and our teammate's weapon looks like it was behind worked on... and look! right there on our teammates gun! the place were the casings come out looks scorched as if something went wrong!'

"I know it may sound a little farfetched, but it's true, you can check the security recordings for proof"

'tch...'

The cloaked girl raised a brow before the armored man motioned with his head towards one of the cameras at the end of the hall. With a bit of hesitation she eased up as she calmed down.

"well... innocent until proven guilty right? I think that's how the saying goes..."

'ugh this is so lame!'

The armored man nodded his head slightly as he spoke in a tone that somehow portrayed him smiling.

"yeah, that's the right way to say it"

'okay, lets say he didn't kill that guy, we still don't know who is he and why he's here...'

The girls widened her eye's slightly as a thought came to her, she then tensed up slightly.

"wait, who exactly are you? you weren't mentioned as one of the people who'd be here for this mission so why are you here?!"

She exclaimed accusingly while pointing towards him, also accusingly. The armored man didn't seem fazed by this as he answered calmly.

"The name's John, and would you believe me if I said I just wanted to help? I got word of your mission from a reliable source and I thought I'd lend a hand..."

John said as he looked back to the dead teammate before looking back to the cloaked girl.

"considering you're now missing two..."

He said somewhat grimly, the girl winced slightly.

"I'd be a little hard pressed to believe you... but... you seem honest... don't make me regret this, because if you do I'll make sure you regret it more!"

The girl exclaimed in what she would call a tough tone.

'ough... that was so bad...'

'shut up! I'm doing me best here!'

'still bad~'

John chuckled lightly as he smiled under his helmet.

"I promise I wont make you regret it"

Once again The girl calmed down, though she was still a little untrusting towards John, which was a little obvious with the look she was giving him.

"well, I should probably see the captain of this ship, let them know I'm here to help"

John said in a relaxed tone as he looked down the halls before looking to the cloaked girl.

"you wouldn't happen to know where they are do you?"

"oh, yeah she's in the... the um... um.."

'the bridge...'

"the bridge?"

"The Bridge! yes! that's what I was going to say... eh-heh-heh...hehe..."

The girl said with a smile as she chuckled sheepishly before she calmed down. She let out a small sigh before she began walking down the hall they were in with a small smile. John followed her shortly after, and was slightly surprised when he heard a low rumble coming from the girl in front of him.

"uh... c-could we get stop to get something to eat first? I'm kind of starving..."

'pff.... if it wasn't for the fact I didn't trust the guy behind us, I would be laughing right about now... heh-heh-heh-heh....'

The girl said in an embarrassed tone as she looked to John, who smiled under his helmet and nodded to her.

"sure, I could go for something to eat right about now, we'll find the captain after"

"great!"

She said cheerfully as she proceeded to lead John on the search for food.

"oh... I guess I forgot to mention it earlier, my name's Majin Eve"

"it's nice to meet you Eve"

John replied in a friendly tone as he followed Eve down the halls of the ship.

After he had located and sussed out the infirmary, feeling confident in his abilities now that he knew where everything was. The weak little boy left again and decided to make his way back to the bridge, where he knew everyone else was at the moment, to see what was going on and if they were out of immediate danger yet.
He found his way around a little easier, and didn't bump into anyone on the way, making him wonder if there was anyone else on bored the ship, aside from them. Soon found himself back at the bridge, though not knowing what to do, he just shrunk into the background, and chose to observe for a while, deciding that he wouldn't be all to useful at the moment, since he didn't know how to fly an airship and all that.

"I do wonder what is going on" He spoke quietly to himself as he moved out of someone's way, then moved forward to see what their leader was doing, before moving to look out the windows.

When the gunshot rang out, Eiko's ears perked up, like a dog hearing a sound far away, or like a wolf hearing it's prey; Eiko silently began leaving the bridge, she didn't bother telling where she was going, she felt that the captain would notice she was gone sooner or later; Eiko passed by the shy boy, before going off to investigate the gunshot that she heard earlier, the moment she felt she found where the sound came from she saw the majin once again, along with two others that were taller than her in armor.

Eiko watched the group before they left heading for the bridge, when they were gone, Eiko investigated the area. She noticed the body, the bullet casing, and the weapon, she took the weapon from the dead man's hands and checked the gun's magazine, she noticed that one of the bullets were spent." I guess he wasn't experienced. Rule one of gun safety is to clean your weapon with the safety on. I rather not clean this up." Eiko put the gun back into the guy's hands. She counted herself lucky she was wearing gloves, because she didn't want to be blamed for the death of the crew member, as she turned around going back to patrolling the ship she spoke to nobody in particular." One dead before we could even do this mission. That's a new record."
