Arthur was playing his drum, keeping calm the other passengers. Then he said, in a casual fashion, "You know, if we all run out there and storm the bandits, they won't be able to kill us all. Hells I could even run in first and catch the first wave of panicked arrows and bolts."

Arthur would chuckle after, and if the others agreed he would do as he said and run out first, shouting and rushing at the first bandit he saw. Otherwise he'd return to his drum.

A couple of bandits making a panicked escape drew Jakar's attention towards the front of the carriage, where he saw the leader of the thugs lying in a pool of his own gore. Had that waif of a tiefling really done that? If so, he had severely underestimated her. Whatever had happened exactly, the sudden terror and flight of several bandits at the death of their leader provided an excellent opportunity to resolve this conflict without further bloodshed. Outlaws like this could be anything from hardened, merciless criminals to local farm boys out to cause trouble in the hopes of alleviating some of the monotony of their existence. Those of the latter type often lacked their own initiative and would turn tail at the first sign of real resistance. Perhaps with a little push, the few stragglers could be... persuaded to join their less courageous fellows. Jakar nocked another arrow and drew back his bow, aiming for the nearer of the crossbowmen in the undergrowth.

"Listen, you skulking vermin," he roared, "your leader has been struck down, and lies in his blood. Your miserable companions have abandoned you. Follow their lead now, and you may yet keep your lives!"

(20 w disadvn. 10, 15 w disadvn. 5, 3, 1)

Two Bandits who heard Jakar's threat immediately scurried away in fear, dashing 60 feet away from the group.

One bandit suffered from severe trauma of the fact that the leader was killed and he was blinded by Galawayn's Colour Spray keeled over as a heart attack incapacitates him @Natsucooldude.

The other who is now left blinded could not make his escape, although is in deep fear and is stunned.

Jethro's arrow finds its mark to the bandit, dealing 11 points of piercing damage which pinned the bandit down dead.

---------End of Battle---------

XP Awarded:

4 Bandits killed: 100 XP
1 Bandit Leader killed: 100 XP

Total: 200 XP divided by 6 which is 33 XP to each member of the party.

-------------------------------

Dyllon who was still by the shotgun was amazed before what had happened. Most of the bandits fled as soon as their leader was taken down efficiently by the Tiefling. "Me be damned!" He shouts. "Hurry up and get back to the caravan! These ruffians will be back before ye know it!" He gestures his hand to waved it towards the caravan.

Seeing his arrow fly true Jethro turned to look for the rest of the bandits, but saw most running away. That was until Jakar scared the ever loving shite out of them and all able bodied bandits headed for the hills. Hearing Dyllon, Jethro agreed. The bandits could come back with reinforcements. "Alright ladies and gents, crisis contained, lets get moving!" Said Jethro as he clambered up the back of the carriage for a seat on the top.

Sitting in the carriage Arthur heard Dyllon's announcement and looked over the folks around him, "Nevermind I suppose, this calls for a song."
"Our heroes our heroes, fight with warrior's hearts." The tiefling sang as he followed the beat he created on his drum.

Galawayn saw the remaining resistance crumple before his eyes, he let loose a brief chuckle at the bandits' weakness. He hopped back into the carriage along with the others, still amused that one of the bandits had croaked from a heart attack of all things.

Jakar watched in satisfaction as the few remaining ruffians fled in terror. There wasn't a moment to lose, however, as Dyllon vocally reminded them. After a quick search through the undergrowth for his lost arrow, he climbed aboard the carriage.

Sionnie had already leaped atop the carriage and sat quietly as she watched the others celebrate. She laid down in her usual spot and thought about all she had seen. from what she observed, Galawayn for the most part ignored her but may be one of the most unique member of this party. As for Zayga, she seemed strong enough and very protective. As for Jakar, Jethro, and Arthur there was one did that the other was not capable of doing and so for she had seen the least in them. Jakar's snarl at the bandits was impressive as his work with a bow however Jethro's aim was truer. Arthur was the least impressive, as he sat back and waited for everyone else to resolve the conflict.. Sionnie could not fathom their celebration as she saw it each one of them had a long way to go, even her.

Zayga, walked back to the carriage tired from the fight. When she get's there she see's everyone rejoicing.. Zayga thinks they are all fools, the battle has only begun, they are bandits, they will come back, with more men and a lot heavily armed... Zayga grabbed onto the side of the carriage and pulled herself up, she glances up and sees Sionnie, *Smiles at her* and get's into the carriage with a big smile on her face, and acting like nothing ever happened.

The carriage once again was on the move towards Faulknorse, this time uneventfully. As the carriage draws close to its gates, more hustle and bustle begins to fill the atmosphere. Children running, citizens chatting and gossipping and merchants carrying their own carriages and goods. The town guards were nowhere in sight, besides the gate warden that promptly shuts the gate closed behind them. "Alright folks! Welcome to Faulknorse! The greatest town across all of Faerun." The carriage comes to a stop, ol' Dyllon makes his quick way to the stables and returned with papers stuffed inside of his waist bag. He made his way towards the six adventurers there. "Ye folks were darn helpful back there. Here, for all yer work today." He tosses the gnome a gold coin bag, containing 600 gold pieces.

Quest Completed!

-To Faulknorse- EXP Reward: 600 divided among 6 : 100 EXP to each Character (your total is 133).

"me'll see ye 'round town. Got business to do. Ye six should head to the Yoso Tavern around this district. Popular for travellers." So then he takes off towards the direction of the town square as everyone else begins to scatter.

Jakar turned to his newfound companions. "I'd gladly buy each of you something to quench your thirst. Innocent blood might have been spilt were it not for your valour during the attack."

Galawayn smiled as he catched the coin bag. He turned to his companions as he weighed the gold in his hand. "Something to drink? That sounds lovely! I could go for some fine wine. Good oppurtunity to divide the money up as well."

Sionnie stood quietly as she listened the others commerce and chat as they walked towards the tavern suggested by the dwarf. She watched the towns folk move about their daily lives, envious that life would never suit her. She had intended to depart from this unlikely alliance but was held by a golden leash in that gnomes hand.. Any one could tale she seem annoyed with the wild flicker of her tail. She began to eye the gnome as well as the others but wold turn her head at any sign of being noticed.

Zayga looks at the gnome with a questionable look. "Are you actually going to share the gold? Or just keep for yourself?" Then she looked at Jakar, and smiled at him, "I would love to have a drink with you good sir!"

Galawayn pocketed the gold wuth a sardonic grin. "I was actually going to do so no questions asked, but the way you are implying I wouldn't makes it tempting to downsize your cut... Thankfully for you, I am on my honor to give you all an equal share." He briefly glanced at the tiefling woman's heraldry. "I would have expected somewhat of a more idealistic worldview from a paladin such as yourself come to mention it."

Jethro smiled as they crossed into the city. It had been a while since he had been in a town bigger than a small vilage. He wasn't much one for the city, but he appretiated the atmosphere. The hustle and bustle kept everyone's minds on their own tasks. Once they had stopped Jethro hopped off the carriage and happily helped whoever needed it. When Dyllon returned with their pay Jethro chuckled. "No problem mate. All in a good days work. Melora be with you." Said the dwelf. Following the rest of the ragtag group of adventurers Jethro heard Jakar mention drinks. "Drinks? I'd love a cold frothy mead." Answered Jethro. Moments later Zayga questioned Galawayn about the gold. At the gnomes sideways response Jethro chimed in. "Hey now no need to get sore with each other. Remember we just saved a carriage full of innocent people not to long ago. Together, as a team. Now, we've been offered drinks so let's not be rude to our host by bickering." Mentioned Jethro before stepping up to Jakar. "Lead the way good sir." He added heartily patting his back.

"Your all so loud.." sionnie said with distaste looking jethro in the eyes. she tuned away and said with an almost guilty posture "It doesn't matter really.. I won't stay much longer. Once i have had my fill and received my pay i'll be on my way." She turned away and started walking away in the wrong direction..

Galawayn looked at the aloof rogue walking off in the wrong direction. His mood was less frustrated now, so he shouted "Hey, we're walking the other way! I mean, if you want to go whereverthehells be my guest. Hell, if you have somewhere to be I'll count out your cut right here.!"

The gnome wondered what was going through the rogue's head to go and walk out on good drinks and company like that. Nevertheless, he was perfectly willing to humor her going away.

With a wry grin and a slight bow, Jakar motioned in a grand, sweeping gesture towards the tavern. "Please, my lords and ladies! I'll hear no more talk of business until after we've had a drop to drink and a bite to eat! Such matters are better discussed on a full stomach, over a glowing pipe, when contentment calms our spirits!"

Calling after Sionnie he added "Surely you would not slight my pride by vanishing away before I am able to properly honour the courage of such a warrior!"

"Come!" he said to all, smiling as he started off towards the tavern.

Sionnie blinked as she became flustered. "I.. Umm..." she began to retort but she could not find words to describe her foolishness so in one swift twirl she began walking faster in the right direction.. With her back to the party she chose to pretend that never happened...
sionnie answered the olden Jarkar's remarks calmly as she looked him in the eyes before she enter in the tavern " I am no warrior, the bandit was simply ill prepared. "
