Weapons:
Inane (Pronounced Inan-i): At first look, it is an Energy Katana, one of the oldest weapons known to mankind, transformed by technology into a dangerous weapon. The handle and base are a combination of cobalt and titanium, while the blade a dull onyx twisting vine-like, yet somehow still deadly sharp, around pure electric voltage. Although it is clear the core is energy, it seems to almost absorb light, to the point where the blade can barely be visible if not moving. When held in the hands of Solus, a sound seems to be emanating from both the user and the weapon, distorting light around it. However, when measured, it is revealed that it is removing sound from the area around, forcing all tones to a point so quiet that you feel you have to whisper. In fact, the lack of sounds is what gives the listener the illusion of sound; the pulses of pure emptiness is perceived by the ear as sound. Most of these effects are hardly noticeable to others unless they either are knowledgeable of the effects, or aware of imminent danger. This is the main weapon of Solus, and one often identified with him, due to its abnormal properties.
Celatium: A seemingly non-lethal weapon, these are ultra-thin needles that to an uneducated observer, as fragile. However, to an expert, you would find that these could be a more dangerous weapon than guns. The ends have been sharpened with powerful technology to the point that they are able to rip through steel, with enough force. Standard body armor are pierced by these needles, however anything tougher is near impossible, even with high speeds.. Solus has five per hand, to a total of ten. They are dipped with a special poison combination, utilizing the anti-alchemy drug, and forces the user to go through what feels like your body imploding. Worse yet, the chemicals also stimulate the nerves in the brain so the death can seem to take centuries, and with the right proportions, eternity. This lethal toxin is so torturous that despite Solus' unique abilities, it is been spoken about by many, to the point of becoming part of their name.
Alchemy specialization: Solus has a unique ability to manipulate sounds (Different than vibrating air to utilize sounds, he controls the waves themselves). Many consider this one of his weaker aspects, yet to him it is essential. He is able to form physical objects, though they rarely last more than a second. This is mostly used in conjunction with Motem, since it allows him to manipulate his movement in the air by creating temporary walls to push off of. This allows him to take his Motem to another level, as he doesn't have the limitation of only moving on the ground.
To an untrained observer, it seems as if he can control sound without alchemy. However, to a sharp eye, you can see quick movements in his fingers. By using small Motem alchemy, he can produce sound waves of his own from any location within ten feet of him. He is able to produce a large variety of sounds and tones from this small movement.
What makes his Motem useful is that he chains several together to work toward larger effects. He may use his fingers to create a small platform to jump off of, leading into a body twist creating more platforms, and then the next thing you know he is flying through the air spinning at rapid speeds, distorting and forging sound faster than your ears can process. It is extremely dangerous to allow him to get started, but it doesn't take him long to get a good flow going.
Appearance: He is never seen unmasked or suitless. In fact, people always joke that he sleeps in his mask. The mask is a long, sleek helmet with visors of the purest black. It is clear the glass is made of plexiglass, and due to its extremely dark tint, people wonder if he can see out of it. The thin textile suit embodies his likewise thin figure. He can fit through the tiniest of spaces. Due to his necessity for mobility, his suit has little to no actual protection. Using materials underneath, it is strong enough to stop a normal bullet, but anything of any real power will rip it like tissues. This is why his stealth is key. Simply watching him move, you can't help but get an odd feel from him. He doesn't walk- he glides (Not literally...). His movements are comparable to a lizard, or a hunter. His presence does not command attention. It is also joked upon that he could walk into the most top secret bases and not be noticed.
Personality: Obviously, due to his appearance, he doesn't go out often. He works underground and stays underground. His unwavering refusal to remove the mask or suit in order to blend in on the surface makes him impossible to do surveillance. He relies on being completely hidden in order to avoid this issue.
He is extremely protective of Cionus, and if you so much as try to take advantage of her, you'll find yourself in a hospital bed very quickly. He is always known as weird due to the fact he speaks without opening his mouth. When he 'talks', you can't help but remember it. His serious yet silent nature means that when he does act aggressively to peers, or speaks loudly, a sense of fear shivers down your spine. His aloof nature leaves him with little friends, and those friends may never know a thing about him. Despite this, the few friends he has are always deep believers in Solus. However, he can be quite aggressive. Although he is very tolerable, if you manage to annoy or anger him, you're in trouble. He has no problem killing anyone, even his closest of friends. Your death will always be an 'accident'.
Although not really high, his intelligence is impressive. His speed of processing allows him to adapt his alchemy mid-casting to change its location or intensity. He may not be a genius, but his quick reactions can save many lives in the heat of battle.
History: He was found living in an abandoned warehouse covered in blood at the age of 15. At first looks, it was thought he caused the blood, but was soon found that he was supposed to be a victim, although the murderer was never found. His parents were never found, so he immediately went up for adoption Few wanted to adopt him; it appeared he could speak without even opening his mouth, and the words always sounded a bit distorted. His obvious involvement in alchemy made him a tough sell. Luckily, a daughter of a highly-ranked member of A.M.R.O took him in, and as soon as he was old enough, he was thrown into the A.M.R.O system as well, coming out as a top Asylum. Anybody who has seen his face has since died of age or have been murdered. The few people who have seen it and are still alive are his parents, who are unknown, and Cionus.
Other: As mentioned, he speaks without opening his mouth.

Purely voice: Cionus doesn't use a weapon; her voice is her weapon. By solidifying the energy of her voice with alchemy, she can transform the sound in midair into a crystalline structure, effectively making daggers. With enough of these crystals, they could break down a reinforced door or wall. Unlike Solus' creations, the matter she creates is permanent. All the crystal created are made of a structure close to steel in strength, and the sharpness is nothing beyond a normal throwing dagger (AKA not as sharp as Solus' Celatium). This ability can be extremely useful, as it is very quick to form. As long as she recognizes a bullet is going to be shot, she could form a shield thick enough to stop the bullet as soon as it is fired. She can also choose to keep the sound in energy form, using it to throw objects or people if projected correctly. An issue with keeping it in its energy state is its accuracy. If a target is 15 feet away, it becomes hard to get the energy to hit the human full force. However, if such an occurrence were to take place, it would be strong enough to force the heart to stop.
Her voice requires very little alchemy to alter or solidify, allowing for her to use even weak alchemy to get a disastrous result.
Alchemy specialization: Although she shares the same basic sound manipulation Solus does, she has a special difference- she can change the tone, pitch, and all the other "unimportant" stuff. However, she is able to change the pitch in such a way as to throw a human mind into psychosis. She cannot control a person's mind, but she can force a person to be calm or angry depending on the pitch. With really careful tuning, she can get a few more emotions than the ones just listed, however it is rare, and she usually sticks to those two. Her abilities are strengthened by Solus, who uses his alchemy in conjunction with hers to replicate and amplify the sound from any source, also controlling the strength of the effects. When the two combine, her powers can be used to calm a whole army (and with enough focus even choose who isn't affected). Because of the strength of her alchemy, Solus minimalizes his alchemy so as to make up for the loss of sanity.
Appearance: By Solus' description, she is the most beautiful person alive. Of course, he is quite biased. Her emerald eyes and teal shine of her silky shirt makes her hair seem to sheen pink. She is nowhere near athletic, like Solus, so she focuses on keeping her voice healthy and trained. For ease of movement, her hair is tied back into twin ponytails, which is quite distinctive of her look. She always wears clothing two sizes too big, often having her jeans catch, or her shirt slip. Cionus often doesn't like to wear extravagent dresses and jewelry, however Solus pushes her to try to reach out and wear some more expensive clothing, claiming, "At least one of us has to be lovely".
Personality: Although she is conservative like Solus, she has a stronger sense of emotion, and does get lonely. Although she wouldn't go out on her own, with pushes from Solus she will "give in" and spend some time with others. Whenever she does so, however, she tends to mask some empathy, as Solus can't ever experience a social life due to what she calls his 'sickness' from his childhood. Whenever talked to, she is really passive, to the point where it can actually annoy you. Asking her for a decision is just a game of tennis of who is going to cave on the "Whatever you like" rebounds.
Although her voice is known to be dangerous, it is what makes her popular among the others. Her singing tends to attract a group, and she always finds herself with help around. Her amazing voice is what gives their team name the "Serenity". Many of the strained Asylums often go to her for calming, yet sometimes their repetitive need for her help puts a lot of pressure on her, and surely doesn't help her own sanity. Solus tries to get her to hold back, but she can't say no.
History: She was the granddaughter of said veteran who took in Solus. Eventually, whenever her grandfather died, she and Solus had to work together and find a place to live. Ensnared by alchemy at the age of 8, she often sang in the gardens, and learned to force the animals emotions using alchemy. She found it much harder to do with humans, so she focused on the two most important: peace and wrath.
Other: She doesn't feel comfortable telling her real feelings to anybody but Solus.
The bond between Solus and Cionus are extremely close; they will both go at great lengths to help the other.
