I'm currently halfway through reading the second page of the IC posts. I have to say I love the cast of characters I've seen so far. The posts are a bit long, and I keep checking the character profiles to make sure I know who I'm reading about (what they look like, etc), so it might take me awhile to get through them so I can start writing my character out.
I have some questions though. There seems to be a broad spectrum of Faeries, ranging from Unseelie to Seelie, and Dullahans. What could you categorize as a Fae creature? Would things like Ogres, Trolls, and Goblins count as Fae? Sorry if I'm asking a lot of silly questions. ^^;
I would say yes, Fae is a blanket term to cover many different races/species: pixies, faeries, elves, ogres, dullahans, gnomes, sprites, trolls, goblins, leprechauns, etc. I would say the court that they belong to is important though, Ogres Trolls and Goblins tend to be darker races and would probably fall under the Unseelie Court if they belonged to one at all, perhaps just Solitary would be best for them! My character, Kiara, is from Faerûn, a realm where all of these races, dragons as well, are native species. They tend to live in different areas, kind of like countries/continents on Earth. But, they do not have to come from there! The other Unseelie faerie is a changeling from the human realm (I believe)
@Aspen Wren has the real final say with all this, though.
