@BCTheEntityFair enough, plus you would be playing with fire by doing so, with The Emperor, Malcador, and your own brothers and sisters able to at least get an inkling of what you're doing

@Specter189 I don't get all the hate for Imperium secundus honestly, I think it made sense for Calgar personally. He always wanted his own Imperium, and the fact that the Astronomican was being blocked out gave him plausible deniability by aysin he believed the Emps had already fallen and Secundus was the backup... also Imperium Secundus 2.0 is a hilariously redundant statement

@agentmanateeIt's less that he created the Imperium Secundus and more the fact that he likely had no intention of giving up its rule, despite his public statement of handing it over to the first Primarch to arrive. He did ultimately give it to Sanguinius, but only after Vulkan and the Lion showed up first, and a lengthy argument took place.

@agentmanatee Imperium Secundus itself is not a bad idea given the situation. Its Guiliman's power hungriness

Also, given The Emperor, Malcador and Johnson's own feelings on the matter, if Lorgar hadn't ascended Erebus with him the great civil war of 30k would have probably been called "The Guilliman Treachery"

Though that is wild speculation

@Specter189In fact, If Ser Berenger was presented with the same situation as Guiliman, he would likely do much the same thing in establishing a "backup imperium" so to speak.

Personally, Cato Sicarius is my most hated ultrasmurf. But yeah the root of the problem is Ward

@BCTheEntityOne thing I meant to ask: For legion numerical strength, is that specifically just Space Marines in the legion, or does it include any Imperial Army units under the command of the legion?

@Lord Coake It's specifically Marines only.

Alright, for any who are interested, I added an entire other section that places more detail on the specific Companies, as well as the previously vaguely mentioned Great Beasts that are assigned to each Company. Now my fingers are sore, and I need to take a break before trying to tackle anything about other characters in the Legion.

Alright, almost done describing the Void Masters and their respective Chapters. Just three to go. I'll get around to those tomorrow.

@Hank Just a quick pointer, to you as well as to everybody else, but it is not possible to convert adult humans into Space...-

...or is it? I suppose, given that the Emperor-fragment performed comparatively huge modifications to the New-New Man's biology, that it might have taken into account at some point the possibility of wanting to add adult humans into the ranks of the Astartes when the time came, since doing that would vastly expand the field of possible Space Marine candidates. Alternatively, that modification could have happened completely by chance. Either way, though... you know what? Yes, adult humans can be converted into Space Marines in this, as a result of the Emperor's altered biology. I'll go ahead and add that to the Extra Information in the first post, shall I?

@BCTheEntityWell, Leman Russ recruited several of the warriors who had fought alongside him before the Emperor found him into the Space Wolves, and I think Lion El'Jonson did a similar thing

Oh, neat, thanks. I forgot about that. If you hadn't changed the rules, I'd have to rewrite a lot of stuff about the Void Stalkers.

It has happened in the cannon but they're always weaker than your average space marines. I think several of the Dark Angel senior command around the time of the Heresy were old friends of the Lion from his childhood. I may be wrong though...

I believe that in the case of Luther et al, they were altered as far as they could be for adult humans but not actually shifted into full-blown Astartes I.E. Not given all the organs or abilities, but able to wear suits of power armour and be stronger than your average bloke and so forth.

@Lord Coake@Roosan@Jbcool What Jb says is accurate: they could be altered to become more powerful than normal humans in canon, just not as explicitly superhuman as an Astartes is. That was actually the basis of Luther's fall to jealousy, and thus Chaos, so take that as you will. Anyway, adults can become Space Marines in this game thanks to Emperor biology changes, with the advantages of more experience and less chance of death than children and teenagers, but a subsequently slower rate of individual conversion due to puberty not being exploitable for having already passed.

@agentmanatee ...alright. Well. Now he can be a full-blown Astartes. You, uh, might want to modify the information surrounding him accordingly? Just a thought.
