Clover, who had been preparing to take Cliver's advice with her roots, felt the anger that had filled her body being replaced with triumph. Yet, somewhere deep inside of her, she felt sorry for the beast. It knew not what it did. She took a deep breath, and let her grip on the earth relax.

"Now, beast, rest. Restore what you have destroyed."

From beneath the body of the creature, roots crawled upward. In a slow, calm movement, the tendrils of plant took the corpse below the surface of the soil, leaving only the severed head behind.

Lilith gasped as the roots came up to grab the wolf's body to use to feed the forest. In an odd way, it was as beautiful as it was horrifying, since things were meant to be this way. However the severed head made her feel uneasy as the roots tore it's body from the dangling piece of flesh that connected the two. There was a sickening feeling in her stomach that she didn't have time to dwell on because there was people who needed looking after.

Cliver looked up just in time to see Drek deliver the final blow and basically behead the beast. He gave a shout of joy and, despite the pain, stood triumphantly. "Yes! Get roasted!" Breathing heavily, he picked up his ax and used it as a walking stick to help himself move forward. Then he saw the roots start to drag the creature beneath the earth and started hobbling faster. By the time he reached the spot, all that was left was the head. He turned and looked at Clover, his heart wavering over whether or not to reprimand her. Finally, he decided on simply a question. "Are you sure you want that thing in the soil?"

The nymph stood, and gently brushed her knees off. She didn't mind the dirt, but she thought she might as well.

"Of course. It was a living being that will rot, as was previously mentioned. It will rot beneath the soil, and being new life!"

She looked at the woodsman dead in the eyes, and gave a half smile.

"My Sisters need to feed."

She then walked up to him, and continued to look up at him for a moment, before giving him the best hug that a small girl possibly could.

"Thank you for your kindness towards my forest, deer-kin. My Sisters and I greatly appreciate it!"

"Whoa, whoa, Clover." Lilith said pulling her off the wounded man, despite the touching moment. "If you squeeze him, he'll only bleed heavier!" she cautioned, pointing out that some of the icicles were starting to melt due to his body heat, and some blood began oozing out in the process. She then placed the little nymph down and squatted next to Cliver.

"Are you alright? We nee to get those things out of you before your body heat drops too dramatically!" She then pulled the blue vial she had shoved in her pocket earlier. "If I pour this in your wounds they should heal up enough to avoid you bleeding out when I pull the spears out."

Cliver went very still for the duration of the hug before Lilith thankfully came and separated them. Then he reached down a shaky hand and gave the girl two quick pats on the head. "Tell them that they're very welcome. But I'm a human, not a deerman."

He didn't press the issue with the body. That smile had been the most terrifying thing he'd seen all day. He just made a note to come back here in a months time, just to be sure the beast was dead dead and nothing was contaminated.

He gratefully accepted Lilith's medicine and sat down to start pulling out spears and administering it. "Lilith, I think we can consider this a rousing success. I was right to be worried, I definitely would have died if I'd fought this thing alone."

"You were a real help, so thank you." Lilith replied before going over to tend to her guild members, starting with Drek who was now lying on the ground in exhaustion, bleeding out of his shoulder. She propped him up on her lap and ripped his sleeve off so she could see his wound better. There was five teeth marks on both the front and back of his shoulder so she had to pour a tiny drop in each hole. The wounds suddenly began to close, making a steamy hissing noise, and Lilith had to hold him down to avoid him convulsing in pain and knocking the liquid out before it finished healing him. She than wrapped him up and walked him over to the fire before turning to tend to another person.

Elras had managed to wrap himself up already and Caelus was being tended to by Sky, so all that left was Sarrai'a who had some serious frost burn after being crushed under the ice beast. Lilith shuffled through her satchel mercilessly, before eventually finding the raw medicine plant, and mashing it in her mortar and pestle, and peeling off layers of her armor so she could apply it to her stomach, and wrapping her up in gauze to let the medicine set in. She then pathetically dragged the girl over to the fire the best she could with her small weak body. Lilith then let out a long sigh and flopped next to the fire as well as the sunset finally finished, and the sky became a cold, dark blue.

"What a fight." Lilith groaned, stretching her arms out. "I think I seriously underestimated the treat, though...I should have brought something bigger."

She fiddled with the left over dangerous concoctions in her bag.

Various grunts and growls came from Cliver as he went through the painful process of de-icing himself, steadily pulling out each ice spear one by one and dabbing a bit of liquid into each wound.

After all the holes were closed up (an extremely unpleasant feeling akin to your skin getting carbonated) Cliver climbed unsteadily to his feet. He looked back to see what happened to his burning log, and was relived to find it sitting in a puddle of cold water. Satisfied he reached down and picked up the beasts head before trudging over to the nearest unoccupied bonfire and tossing it into the flames.

Maybe burning the head would be enough. Maybe...

He made his way over to Lilith and sat down beside her, sadly running his finger around the new holes in his coat. "That cave was its home." He said absently. "Might be pups inside." He held his ax across his lap as he based in the warmth of the fire. "But if they haven't come out to play by now they can wait their turn."

Lilith swallowed hard. She really didn't want to have to kill puppies. She hoped to God that there weren't any puppies.

"The wolf was male, I'm pretty sure. I don't about you, but I don't know of any male animal that'll look after it's young by itself...plus the creature was new to the area, and taking puppies on a territory push would be a bad move for the parent." She then looked at the torch in her hand. "I can go take a look though, if you'd like."

*Sarria'a began to come to, hearing conversation of going into the cave coming from Lilith and Cliver, as she slowly started to sit up and felt the burning sensation in her chest* "I'm guessing we took care of the creature, is everyone okay. That thing was heavier than it looked, and I certainly, hope you aren't discussing going into that things lair alone."

*Sarrai'a then pulled out her walking cane and used it to help lift herself up off of the ground releasing sparks when it first hit the stone on the ground, which she snuffed out to make sure they didn't cause any fires to start*

Sky attempts to pull up the unconscious man and hold him, barely managing. She wanted to help the others but didn't think she should leave him alone. She takes him over to where the others are gathered, carrying him princess style. Her cloak slips slowly off as she uses her wings to steady herself, as they were her strongest limbs. What showed through the cloak was a brilliant silver, almost blue, pair of wings.

*Sarrai'a seeing sky moving Caelus over smiled then she noticed her wings* "Your wings are beautiful, why would you hide them."

Lilith, seeing Sarrai'a suddenly get up despite her injury, panicked a little internally.

"You really shouldn't get up yet, you know! You should rest overnight so the medicine has time to properly heal your wound. If you rush things, it'll only make your body condition worse."

*Sarrai'a hearing Lilith uses her canes to help slowly ease back to the position she had been in* "If you say so I don't mind resting here it's a nice night."

Sky is startled by Sarrai'a's words. She behind herself looks at her wings, horrified, and in doing so shifts her weight too much. Managing just barely to save herself and Caelus, they still end up on the ground. Or at least Caelus does, but with a relatively soft landing, and then Sky on top of him.

*Seeing sky fall Sarrai'a sits up slightly, as Lilith told her to move as little as possible* "Are you okay I didn't mean to startle you like that."

"It never hurts to be thorough." Cliver replied to Lilith and Sarrai'a. "But it can wait a while. As campsites go this isn't bad. Nothing is going to come bother us by this things lair, and we got these nice fires going. Add some food and drink, this would be a real party."

He looks over at Sarrai'a, and at the wings coming of Sky's back. He'd figured there was something going on under that cloak but he hadn't figured it'd be something so pretty. The elf certainly had some strange tricks up her sleeve as well. "Hey." He said to the two of them. "By birth or by curse? If you don't mind me asking."

"By choice, while most look upon Lycanthropy as a curse my old order learned to control the beast to help those who need it. So I view my Lycanthropy as a benefit, though I recognize the burden of responsibility it places on me."

Sky looks up from her position on top of Caelus, she nervously gets up off of him and tries to hide her wings. "Birth..." she says, looking at him cautiously. "But I'm no angel. I guess though that this thing is pointless now." She pulls off the cloak with a sigh. She beats her large wings a few times and stretches them out.

"I figured you weren't an angel, as most angels either don't try to hide their wings or if they want to they will simply take a human form, your wings are quite lovely though nonetheless.'
