Personality:Cecilia has always been a sweet girl, but she's never been a pushover. If anyone pushes her to her limits, she will not hesitate to explode in front of their face. Since her childhood was surprisingly normal, she knows little to nothing of trauma, or extreme pain. The only time she felt down about her home life was when the other children ridiculed her for not having a father. That never deterred her though, and she was always busy working around the house to fill the void her father had left. Because of the life her mother had after her father had left, she has always sought out romance, to see if love truly exists.
Since she was just a little toddler, she had been obsessed with tech. Before she could even walk, she was creating little things that would help her mother with random situations around the house. Her mother thought she was the sweetest little doll, so she allowed her to work with things that were probably too dangerous for young kids like her. She has always enjoyed the love and companionship of other people, but for some reason, she had always been drawn to her one-sided friendships with machines just a bit more. It was like they spoke the same language.
History:Cecilia was born to a loving mother, and since her father had not been there for her, a nurse had held her mother's hand and cut the umbilical cord. It was just another everyday stereotype, that another black man had gotten another black woman pregnant and left her. However, Cecilia's mother was determined to make a good future for her child ever since she had first set her eyes upon her.
In her youth, Cecilia acted just like any other child you would see in the neighborhood. The only thing special about her was that she loved to tinker, taking random pieces and combining them to form something great. She stole pots and pans from the kitchen when her mother wasn't looking, and used them in her projects. Surprisingly, when her mother saw her crazy inventions, she wasn't scolded. Instead, her mother would pick her up and place her on her lap, telling her how much she was like her dad. Even when Cecilia was old enough to ask, her mother would never go into detail about her father. It may have been because she has gotten over him, and she didn't want to bring the topic up, but she had never dated again, so Cecilia thought differently.
Since her mother was so hellbent on Cecilia growing up good, Cecilia did her best to please. In school, she was teased about not having enough friends, and about the fact that her father had abandoned her at birth. Despite this, Cecilia was usually at the top of her shop classes, and she wasn't to bad at defending herself either. Her mother grew more and more proud of her everyday, and it kept Cecilia working.
Everything in her life remained normal, and she thought it always would. The only thing special about her was her amazing ability to build, so she assumed she would get a scholarship and start a boring college life once she was done with high school. In fact, this was her dream, until a boy with an eyepatch showed up one day and ruined the thought of a simple life.
