Personality:Skye is an energetic, bubbly young girl, with plenty of personality to go around. Not only is she very easy to get along with, but she enjoys almost everything, and will thus have at least something in common with everyone around her. Awkward silences never happen around her, even when she's first meeting someone. This is occasionally ruined as she tends to say whatever is on her mind. You never have to wonder what she thinks of you. Despite that, she's always very nice about what she says, and tries not to say anything that would offend someone (though she has failed multiple times).
Because of the thought that she needs to be constantly nice, Skye has a tendency to hide any emotions that aren't positive. The last time she cried in front of anyone was when she fell off a tree in preschool. When left alone for too long, her emotions all come out at once, leaving her a mess. In those cases, she will find an isolated place, usually sheltered and dark where no one will find her. One way that she vents this emotion so it does not get out of hand is by drawing and training.
History:Stacey Nicholas was an innocent youth who aspired to be the best florist in the town in which she lived. Her beauty was greater than any around her, leaving men to pine after her and women to envy her. Despite all of the attention, Stacey refused to even consider dating, let alone marrying anyone. Soon, she had achieved her dream at an abnormally young age and began taking care of a small shop in the middle of town. For unknown reasons, Hades was visiting that town and stopped by the pretty florist's shop, possibly to find flowers for his wife, who was to return to his palace shortly. Of course, as soon as he got a look at Stacey, he became infatuated with her. Not only did she remind him of the beautiful Persephone, but she had a confident air about her, abnormal for humans, and did not come with an awful possessive mother. After many attempts, Hades managed to sweep Stacey off of her feet. Of course, this resulted in the birth of Skye.
With the child came a huge problem. Hades came around less and less, and eventually stopped visiting all together. Stacey became angry. Very angry. And she decided to take that anger out on Skye. Around the shop and in front of friends, Stacey was the picture of perfection; she spoiled Skye rotten with presents, allowed her to arrange her own bouquets on the occasion, gave her hugs and kisses for no reason, and helped her out with homework or anything else. Of course, this was not the case when they were alone. More often that not, Skye would have to hide bruises with long sleeves and pants, or, for the more extreme cases, lots of makeup.
As Skye grew older, she realized that this behavior was not normal. Other moms would sing their children to sleep. When she asked about their bruises, no one knew what she was talking about. One night, the question came out before she could stop it.
"Mom, why do you hit me? No one else gets hit by their moms."
Stacey halted immediately, slowly placing her hands on the counter. In the softest voice, she replied, "Honey, it's all your fault." She turned and approached her daughter, a wild expression on her face. "If it weren't for you, he would still visit me. He would never have left, and I would be happy." Her voice grew louder and more shrill, causing Skye to shrink away. Stacey grabbed her daughter by the shirt and threw her on the ground, while yelling incoherent things about 'him' and love.
Skye ran. Even when her mother called out for her, she never looked back. At first, she stayed at a friend's house, under the pretense that her mother had left on a business trip. When that fell through, the parents of her friend called her mom, and Skye ran again. She found herself travelling from city to city, until she finally arrived in Brooklyn. That's where, after a little while of living on the streets, Skye was picked up by a Satyr and taken to Camp Half-Blood.
