A: I think if we're going to be playing in an AU, it would only be fitting to have our own history and lore.

A: That depends on the strength of the writer I suppose, I myself wouldn't mind the opportunity.

A: From a personal standpoint, I'm quite against lots of playable races in a Bleach RP. Things tend to get quite messy and balance inevitably shifts between races that often causes' chaos. (See Bleach: Platinum Hearts)

A: Blackbeard was recently going to start an RP where the GM/Co-Gm played the villain faction only, which I found interesting. Despite that, I believe a middle ground is needed to allow for personal rivalries to be able to be developed by the players, amongst other things.

A: I would say yes but only as a personal choice.

A: As much as I know, rationally, that a lot of races can lead to things being overly convoluted, messy and/or out of balance - I am still A HUGE fan of Spiritually Aware Humans (like... one of the rare ones haha), as well as Quincies and Arrancars. It really goes down to personal preference. For the sake of balance, having one or two races to play with would be a lot easier, but you know. I am kinda biased on this one.

A: A middle ground would be preferable, I think. There is, once again, an easier path to take if the villain faction is controlled entirely by the GMs, but then again - I found it to be that more fun if there is some sort of a middle ground there, allowing more personalized stories and characters arc to develop around it.

A: Ah, definitely. I've been in a quite a few RPs where one person had one character, whilst some other people had around 5 to 10 characters, because there was no cap. I don't mind having a two-three characters limit, but no limit at all can get out of hand pretty darn fast. It's a good way to go around having less people involved in the RP, but at the same time, I am just not digging the no cap method.

A: Given that you are aiming to create an ideal Bleach RP I believe that history and lore should be able to be created, though monitored naturally.

A: I agree with previous answers it would depend on the individual, and whether or not it fits with the current events.

A: I do not particularly care which race ends up being playable, however I do believe that it should be restricted to a single one. Perhaps later on once the RP has established itself firmly and has proven it can sustain multiple races.

A: I believe the villain faction should be controlled primarily by the GMs, with them reaching out to recruit from the player pool occasionally if the need arises.

A: Yes there should be, and it should be fairly low at the beginning. Just like with the races I believe the cap could be raised later on if both the RP and RPer have proven they can maintain it.

A: It would be nice to create histories and lore, but obviously to an extent. Too many races would crowd an already crowded world, as would too many factions.

A: As long as they're sound and well planned and thought out, I don't have a problem with it. I imagine the GM's will work alongside players in order to keep a nice flow?

A: I feel like making too many of these factions playable could end up messy. Perhaps once the RP is established and we have a decent list of regular players, we could branch out into other playable factions?

A: I feel like GM's should mainly control the villain faction, perhaps bringing some trustworthy and reliable people into it as they see fit?
