There we go, finished up my post for the captain (though I stand by my statement that I suck at playing other people's characters). Added in a mention to @Skepic to allow him to start posting (if you're still interested).

Right now we're in social time, but the rest of the army will arrive within the next 1 or 2 rounds of posts. Then we can get things (sort of) moving.

Alright I'm kinda busy right now, but I'll post in a day or three and get us moving.

Alright there we go everyone, we're moving into a bit of social time.

@Slypheed had a suggestion that we don't use PMs for conversations this time, to allow other people to jump in, meet up in groups larger than 2, etc. I believe this suggestion has merit, so we'll try it that way this time.

Since we won't be using PMs for conversations, we can relax the posting rules a bit. You can post one or two liners (provided you're in a conversation) to keep things moving along at a decent speed, and I'm not going to bug anyone about speed posting. I would suggest you leave at least 1 or 2 hours between posts, though, if you think you're in a situation where someone else might be able to or want to join in (to give them time).

The captain will arrive with the army some time in the middle of this, but since the army is taking over the first phase of the attack, social time will continue for a little bit. This will allow the new characters joining to get aquainted with the old characters, and hopefully get them all tied in with the squad nicely.

I hope you all find this course of action reasonable. If anyone has any suggestions, comments or concerns, please by all means, let me know.

EDIT: By the way, please do use mentions or quotes for this. It's going to get awfully hectic if speedposting starts happening, so we don't want people's replies to get lost.
